Do you know why you are here? (17)

Harrison and Marcus made their way to the Aquarium Park and the abandoned building that Joshua had placed Virginia in.

He had her handcuffed to a chair. She did not like this and would not shut up.

"My father and brother will not stand for this. We have a lot of money and even if you get my father to pay a ransom they will hunt you down like the dog you are."

He just ignored her and played Candy Canyon on his phone. This is the only thing he ever became addictive too.

"Hey scum, I am talking to you. Who do you work for? When are you going to let me call my father? I demand you talk to me."

When Marcus walked in, Her eyes lite up. "Thank god darling, I knew someone would save me. Get the key and unlock these, they hurt."

He walked in and sat down next to Joshua, "What level are you on?"

"214, been on this level a week now. It's a bi**h." He said.

Harrison then came in and shut the door. Virginia just watched, she was not sure now what was going on. Why was her love not rescuing her.

"Darling have this brute take these cuffs off me please." She yelled.

Marcus got up and walked over, she smiled thinking she had gotten him to obey her wishes.

"Virginia, do you know why you are here?" he asked.

"That man kidnapped me and you are here to rescue me. Please take these off now." she batted her eyes.

"No,That is not the correct answer, does the word KDA mean anything?" He asked.

Her eyes went big. She shook her head no.

"I almost went to Jail for poisoning Ariel with KDA. It was in some flowers that were sent to her in my name."

Virginia was now scared. She did not mean to get him into trouble she just wanted to get rid of the girl.

"If not wasn't for the fact that there was no information found that could link me to the flowers but the card with my name, and I could prove that I was in meetings all day with no contact from my phone, that they had to let me go."

She smiled again. He was alright. No one could find the info on where the flowers came from. Or who sold her the drugs.

"How ever thanks to your kidnapper, we know who bought the flowers and who bought the drugs." he smiled tapping her on the head.

Two men carried in a well dressed man. He was black and blue. "This is Jonny two fingers. He says you asked him for the drug and paid him a thousand dollars to keep quite about it. He sung like a canary when we made his name come true."

She looked at the man. His right hand now only had two fingers on it. The stubs were wrapped in bloody gause. Her eyes went big again.

"Then the flower guy did not want to die for what someone else did and sang your name also. Saying you paid him two hundred dollars to keep it off the books. You just did not know he keeps a photo record of the flowers he puts together."

She was now starting to sweat.

"See I told you, I did not want to be in a relationship with you. I told you, to leave me alone. Why did you not listen to me?" He said.

"Darling, I did all this for us. I knew you were to kind to tell that girl to leave you alone. So I took care of her for you." Virginia said.

"You are still not listening. Harry, what shall be done to someone who does not listen?" Marcus said turning Harrison.

"Don't call me Harry. I think she should be given the same drug as our Mermaid took. If she can wake up like Ariel did then you should make her your girlfriend. If not then she definitely will never hurt our girl again."

"She woke up?" She said.

"Wow, you ate more upset that she woke up and not about you being given a drug." Harrison said. "You sure get the weirdos."

"You can't do this, that stuff will kill me." She said struggling to break free.

Then the drug dealer stood up and wiped makeup off his face. He took the bandage off and stretched his hand.

She watched, it was all an act, She laughed he really did love her and this was all a joke.

Then the dealer pulled out a bag of powder and handed it over to Harrison.

He took it and putting on gloves sprinkled it onto Virginia lap. She tried to hold her breath. They left the room, then called the police by a burn phone. Saying they seen two masked men dragging a woman into the Aquarium Park back area. She was yelling and screaming. When the cops asked for their names they said they were to scared of being found out by the bad guys and they were already helping enough by calling in.

Marcus then went in and removed any trace that they used the back gate. Then he removed the video making it look like a glitch in the system.

By the time the police arrived Virginia was already in a coma. Because her body was covered in KDA they could not get her straight to the hospital. They had to suit up with biohazard suits.

Her family had been notified and when questioned her father had to admit that Virginia had ways of making enemies. When she got something in her head, even if it was not the truth, she made it seem like the truth to herself.

He knew she must of crossed the wrong people. "Investigate quietly but don't waste a lot of man power on this. If anyone ask, She went overseas to further her studies."

She then lasted two days in the hospital before passing away. No funeral was held. No one besides her family seemed to miss her. Her few friends just thought she was being herself by not contacting them.

Marcus stayed by Ariel's side until she was released. He postponed her training till the doctor cleared her. That took another week.

But the doctor still wanted to monitor her because all the side effects are still unknown.

Harrison wanted to stay but was needed back at the company in the city and Lily also missed her Dad.

Lily called every night to talk to Ariel and Ariel had a hard time explaining why for two days she did not answer her calls.

"My father was really sick and I forgot my phone in the Castle." She said.

The little girl was heartbroken till Ariel had finally called back, however she forgave her.
