"Let me start by saying I was wrong and I should have not forgotten you and Heny were there. I should of introduce you to my old friend. There is nothing going on. I promise, you are the only girl in my life."

"Who is she?"

"Lena is a girl I met in college. We graduated together with a few other people and she is organizing a class get together in a few months. We were just catching up."

"Think before you answer me. Did you date her?"

"No... we are just friends." He had to lie to her. He just could not tell her the truth that at one time he wanted to marry that girl.

She shook her head. I looked her up. She is a supporter of the Swimming program. She said you dated for about 6 month and because you were so clingy and kept talking about marriage she dumped you. She only stayed in contact because you have mutual friends."

"You talked to her?"

"Suprised? I need a few hours to process all of this. I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"What time?"

"Noon"

"Ok", he turned and walked back down the stairs and left.

Ariel closed her door. Why did he have to lie to her.

Ariel woke up and dressed for the wedding. She was also done being mad at Marcus and would tell him when he got here.

Noon came and 15 after she tried calling but it went straight to voice mail. She had to leave now or she would be late so she called a cab.

The wedding was a beautiful affair. She started to wonder what her wedding would be like.

When the group was heading over for the reception she tried calling again. It was still going to voice mail. She then called George.

"Hello" He said.

"Hi, Can you check on Marcus. He was suppose to go to a wedding with me but he is not answering his phone."

"Do you need me to go in his place?"

"No the wedding is over and I won't stay long at the reception."

"Ok, I'll drive over and see what is wrong and call you back."

"Thanks." Ariel hung up before getting in her boss's car to head over to the venue.

Heny drove over to Richie's place. The door was unlocked so he went in. He walked around calling for his friend but finally found him passed out in the bedroom.

"Hey romeo what is wrong with you?"

"Not so loud. My head hurts."

"Richie I am going to kick you ass if you don't explain yourself right now."

Just then a ditzy blond came out of the bathroom was nothing on. "Baby, how do you work the shower?"

Heny lifted him off the bed and punched him right in the face. "You are one sorry bastard. You don't deserve a girl like Ariel and I will see to it you never have another chance to break her heart. And to think she was worried about you."

"Ariel hates me because I lied. She lied to she said we would talk at noon but she never called."

"That is not true she called. You were suppose to pick her up at noon for a wedding. She was almost late because you did not show up. She tried again and called me to check on you."

Marcus grabbed his phone and shook it a few times, "Oops it's dead." He laughed.

Heny then turned to the blonde, "Did you two have sex last night?"

She giggled and nodded her head yes, "He was an animal."

Heny then walked out and drove over to Harpers house.

After a few drinks he told Harper what had happened.

"Who has he become? That coma changed him." Mickey said.

"What do I tell the girl?" Heny asked.

"If you lie she will hate us all if she finds out." Harper replied.

"I know. But I better tell her in person. I'll head over to her place and wait."

"Want me to go with you?" Mickey asked.

"No, I think it's best if I am the bad guy." He got up and left.

He sat outside her apartment for over an hour before a taxi pulled up and she got out. She was beautiful in her flowered sundress and she was wearing the butterfly set he gave her. He got out of the car and locked it.

She turned after paying the driver and turned to see George.

"Did you find him? Is he alright?" She asked.

"Can we talk inside?"

"Ok" She was scared as punched in the code and they walked up the stairs. When she opened the door she laid her purse down and motioned for George to sit. She then sat next to him.

"Ariel, his phone was dead. He forgot he was going with you today so he spent the night drinking."

"And?"

"He took a girl home last night and they had sex."

"I see" She looked down at her hands. "Thank you for telling me the truth. I hope we can still be friends but I think I have made up my mind now."

"Will you be alright?"

"I always am. He's not the first guy to break my heart but I can promise he will be the last."

"I still would like to teach you to fly. We are still friends." He smiled placing his hands over hers.

"I would like that. Thank you."

He then pulled her into his chest and she started sobbing. He held her like that till she pushed him away and walked out of the room.

He quietly left to give her some time to grieve.

Marcus sat in his living room with an ice pack on his jaw. Why did his face hurt so bad and who was that woman in his bed. He looked at his charging phone. Two missed call from Ariel and one from Heny.

Who should he try first?
