The End of the Sports Festival

At the start of Izuku and Todoroki's match, Izuku broke one of his fingers to create a strong pressure of wind to block Todoroki's ice attack. He kept doing that with each finger, even after he broke he broke all of them, as he talked to Todoroki to try to get him to use his full power. As you watched the match, you felt like smacking him! He keeps breaking his limbs every time he used his Quirk. You also noticed that Todoroki's movements were getting slower. It could be because he wasted too much of his power when he fought against Sero. Quirks are physical abilities, too, so you can tell that he's getting frostbite from only using his right side. Then, without any warning, Todoroki finally uses his left side. The heat from his flames melted the frostbite off his body and you heard Endeavor call out to his son triumphantly, telling him that this was a new dawn for them. Present Mic thought the Flame Hero was being a doting parent, but you knew that Endeavor was only happy because saw his own son as a pawn for his own goals. However, he's the only person who thinks that. This power is Shoto Todoroki's. Not his.

The two competitors got ready for their final attack. All of Izuku's fingers and his arm were broken, so he used one of his legs to strike instead. You were starting to worry for your freckled friend. Is his body going to hold up after the attack? Cementoss was just as worried as you are because he made five cement walls between the competitors to stop them. When Todoroki's attack hit, the cool atmosphere blew up in the heat and caused an explosion that nearly blew you out of your seat. When the smoke cleared, Izuku was out of the arena and Todoroki won the match. The crowd cheered and you wondered if Todoroki has sorted things out for himself. 

You wanted to check on Izuku, but he was in the middle of surgery. Plus, you needed to focus on your matches. After winning your match against Shoji and watching the other matches unfold, it was your turn to take on Katsuki. You were in waiting room #2 until it was time for your match. During your wait, you can't help but remember what Endeavor and Todoroki said to you. They didn't see you as someone who has potential and they kept saying things that made you suspect your friend. The door of the waiting room then opens, surprising you. 

"Katsuki?" You were a bit surprised to see your boyfriend. "This is waiting room #2. Shouldn't you be in waiting room #1?"

Your ash-blonde didn't say anything. He strides towards you, pulls you out of your seat by the hand and kisses you. Your eyes widened for a second as he puts his arm around your waist before you closed your eyes and kissed back. After doing this for a minute, you both pulled away for air.

"... Is this your way of psyching out your opponent...?" You breathed out. 

"Katsuki smirked. "Only to you." He kisses you one more time before showing you a more serious expression. "Give it your all in our match." He slowly lets go of you and walked to the door before stopping halfway. "And forget about that crap that Icy Hot bastard and his old man said to you."

After Todoroki and Izuku's match, you told Katsuki about what Endeavor said to you after you checked on Ochaco. It really got you down because you looked up to Endeavor, or at least you used to. Luckily, Katsuki was willing to listen to your negative feelings. Now, you'll be able to focus on the match.

"It's the surf and burn Hikari Yagi vs. the explosive Katsuki Bakugou!!" Present Mic announced. "Who will win this match and be the one to face off against Shoto Todoroki for first place?!"

You quietly observed your boyfriend. He uses his nitroglycerin-like sweat to create explosions through his palms. He's able to use his explosions to move in the air. He's also skilled in hand to hand combat.

"Hey, Hikari!" Your boyfriend snapped you out of your thoughts. He grinned. "You better not be having second thoughts..."

"Ready? Begin!"

" 'Cause I won't be holding back!" Katsuki uses his explosion to come at you.

You didn't have a plan for how you were going to win against him, so you used your flames on your feet to propel yourself at Katsuki. You raised your hand to punch him with a fire engulfed fist, but he counters it with an explosion. The impact almost knocked you off your feet, but you stood your ground. Katsuki then came at you from above, but you were able to dodge and kick him in the ribs. He quickly got to his feet and you threw a massive fire ball at him.

"Yagi instantly pushes Bakugou down with a huge inferno!" Present Mic narrated as the crowd yelled with excitement. 

"I'm sorry, darling. Did that hurt~? " You teased. 

Katsuki escapes from the inferno and rushes towards you. "Not as much as this! Stun Grenade!!" 

Katsuki uses the same move he used against Tokoyami and you shielded your eyes from the blinding light. Your opponent swiftly grabs your arm before you could react and nearly blasted you out of the ring. You saved yourself by creating a jet of fire and water through your hands. As you maneuver towards your opponent, you did the same move you did during the Cavalry Battle. 

"Steam Veil!!" You shouted as you brought fire and water together. As a result of that, steam clouded the arena in an instant. 

"Once again, Yagi gives us an encore of her Steam Veil!" Present Mic shouts.

You used the steam to hide your presence as you snuck up behind your boyfriend. You grabbed his arm to toss him out of the ring the same way Izuku did to Shinso, but he yanked his arm away and blasted you. 

"Like that trick's gonna get the better of me!?" Katsuki places his hand on the ground and lets off a massive explosion into the arena, blowing away the steam.

"Katsuki Bakugou removes the steam with an explosion! That's good!  'cause now I'll be able to do my commentary!" Present Mic narrates, giving the ash-blonde a thumbs up.

"Be unbiased, remember?" Aizawa reprimanded. 

You and Katsuki Bakugou continue fighting. You aimed different types of martial arts moves at him. A few were a direct hit, but he kept dodging and blocking most of your attacks. After you managed to grab him, you brought the both of you into the air.

"I'll toss you out of bounds!" With all your strength, you threw your boyfriend down at the outside of the arena.

Unfortunately, he used his explosions to prevent himself from going out of the ring. 

"Yagi nearly threw Bakugou out of the arena like a sack of potatoes!" Present Mic narrates through the roar of the crowd. 

You attacked your opponent with a blast of fire to prevent him from coming closer. After the attack, you lost sight of him.

"Ya know, you look really hot right now, Teddy Bear." Katsuki commented from behind you with a smirk, making you blush bright red. "But unfortunately for you," Katsuki grips your arm. "You're screwed!!"

With that said, Katsuki moves you both around until you were facing down at the arena. He throws you down on to the arena and you groaned in pain. You were about to get up, but something was preventing you from doing so. You felt a weight on your legs, your right arm was pinned to the side, and your left arm was pinned behind your back. You looked at your boyfriend, who was the one pinning you down, and it was transparent that he won this round.

"I... surrender..." You reluctantly groaned out. Loud enough for Katsuki and Miss Midnight to hear.

"Hikari Yagi surrenders." Miss Midnight annou announces before she points her flogger-style whip at you and Katsuki. "Which means that Katsuki Bakugou wins and will move on to the final round!"

The crowd erupted in enthusiastic cheers. Katsuki released his hold on you and got off you.

"Can you get up?" Katsuki asks.

You were too busy breathing heavily, so you just nodded and slowly stumbled to your feet. You ended up falling into your boyfriend's arms due to dehydration and the reduced amount of oxygen you have right now. You felt the winner of your match pick you up bridal style infront of everyone who was watching, but you were too exhausted to stop him, let alone be embarrassed. 

When you regained consciousness, you were in Recovery Girl's office. 

"Oh, good. You're awake." Said Recovery Girl. "If you want to watch the last match, you better hurry."

Not wanting to miss your boyfriend's match, you ran out of the nurse's office and sprinted to the stands. Luckily for you, the match hasn't started yet when you got there.

"There she is!" Kirishima called out. "Our girl of the Class 1-A power couple!"

"Huh?" You wondered what Kirishima was talking about as you took your seat.

"Don't be so surprised." Ashido chimed in. "You and Bakugou are incredibly talented, you both have amazing Quirks,  and to top it all off, you both look so cute together!"

Kaminari hung his head down and sulked. "Which is all the more reason to be jealous of Bakugou..."

You felt pity for Kaminari. You and Bakugou are the only two students in your class who are in a romantic relationship. You anime sweat dropped at the thought of your boyfriend gloating if he ever heard what your classmates said.

"Speaking of your relationship," Hagakure adds. "I thought Bakugou wouldn't be so harsh during your match since your his girlfriend."

"Hagakure, this is a tournament." You reminded. "I wasn't expecting him to be gentle with me during our match and I didn't want him to." You glanced at Ochaco. "In fact, I'm glad that he didn't hold back! He was even sweet enough to carry me to Recovery Girl's office."

Ochaco smiled, remembering what you said to her after her match, and gave you a fist bump.

"N-no way...!" You looked over at Mineta, who had a perverted look on his face. "Yagi, is it possible that... you're a masochist!?"

After the ball boy said that, Sero immediately wrapped him up with his tape.

"What's...a masochist?" You questioned, giving Mineta a strange look.

"Just ignore him" Ojiro advised and the rest of your classmates agreed.

You wanted to know more about what Mineta was talking about, but knowing him, it's probably something perverted, so you listened to your classmates. 

As soon as the horn sounded for the match to begin, Todoroki creates a giant ice wall again that buries Katsuki. You worried if your boyfriend was alright, or at least still standing. Then, you heard some noises coming from the ice that reminded you of thunder. Your suspicions were confirmed when your boyfriend blasted through the ice and crawled out like some kind of mole. You watched as the ash-blonde positioned himself to be on his opponent's left side. He eggs him on before grabbing Todoroki's hair and shoulder, throwing him across the ring with a midair martial arts move. Todoroki creates a wave of ice to save himself and maneuver back to the center of the ring. Katsuki rushes towards his opponent and yells at him to use his full power. Todoroki didn't reply... he just stood there and you can tell that he's still conflicted. Then, Izuku stood up from his seat and cheered for Todoroki. Katsuki then started to spin in the air as he charged towards Todoroki. Your eyes widened in realization when Katsuki performed a move he told you about before. Howitzer Impact. For just a brief moment, you saw Todoroki erupt flames from his left side... however, he stopped and Katsuki's attack hit. When the smoke cleared, Todoroki was knocked out and Katsuki was the winner. Your boyfriend slowly staggered to his feet and moves towards Todoroki, shouting loud enough for everyone in the crowd to hear, you included. He yelled at his opponent to get up, telling him that he won't accept this as a win unless he tried harder. His pleas turned pathetic and he looked like he was about to cry. It broke your heart to see him like this. After the R-Rated Pro Hero used her Quirk to put Katsuki to sleep, he and Todoroki were taken to Recovery Girl. On your way to check on your boyfriend and classmate, you thought about the outcome of the final match. It was clear that this event was ruined for Katsuki Bakugou. 

Here you are at the award ceremony of the UA Sports Festival. You were standing at the third place podium, Shoto Todoroki stood in second place, and Katsuki Bakugou was in first place completely restrained and thrashing around. He's been like that ever since he woke up. Definitely still furious about his match with Todoroki. 

You then heard loud laughter as your father, All Might, appears with a big entrance which was ruined by Midnight. 

"Hikari Yagi." Your father walks up to you with the third place medal and places it around your neck. "You've fought well and hard in you battles. However, you still need to work on having full control over your Quirk and you akso need to learn to calculate your opponent's movements in a fight."

You nodded. "Yes, sir."

You were taken by surprise when All Might hugged you and patted your back. "Nonetheless, I'm so proud of you. Good work!"

You smiled at your father. Pride and joy filled your chest and you held back your desire to hug him back. What Shoto Todoroki and Endeavor said about Izuku Midoriya having relations to your dad bothered you, but it's probably nothing and you hope that your dad isn't hiding anything from you.
