Off to Endeavor's Agency!

It's New Years Eve. Since dormitory residence was made mandatory for all students, you all thought it would be difficult to return home for the holidays, but with the escort of pro heroes, all students were able to return home for just one day. Right now, you're at your house with your parents, your boyfriend, and your boyfriend's parents.

"I know that I already said this several times, but..." You smiled up at your father as you placed the bowl of mandarin oranges on the kotatsu. "I'm really glad you're here, dad."

Your father returns the smiles and chuckles. "It's okay to say it as many times as you like." He sits down next to you. "I'm just sorry I stopped spending time with you and your mother during such special occasions."

"It's okay. You're here now, so let's focus on that."

Kami, Katsuki, Masaru and Mitsuki smile as they heard the heart-to-heart convo between you and All Might. 

"Oh!" You reached inside your house coat and pulled out three folded sheets of paper. "I want to show you the letter and drawings Eri gave me!"

"Eri?" Mitsuki said, sitting next to her husband on the couch after grabbing an orange. "Isn't that the little girl you told us about?"

"Yeah! Take a look at this." You unfolded the letter and drawings.

Eri used a sunflower themed stationary paper for your letter. In it, she thanked you for the fun she had during the school festival and thanked you for being so kind to her. The pieces of paper she used for your drawings are just regular plain sheets of paper. One drawing is of you, Togata, Izuku, and Horikoshi in your hero costumes with the words: "My Heroes" above the four of you. The second drawing is of you and Eri in a field of sunflowers, holding hands and smiling.

"Isn't this amazing!?" You held up the letter for everyone to see. "She's still a beginner in the alphabet, but she was able to write all this for me!"

"I can see how hard she worked on this." Kami chuckled as she took the letter from your hand and looked at it.

"And look at how well she drew these fantastic pictures!" You showed the drawings your boyfriend like a proud patent. "Aren't they both amazing!?"

"They look good, Teddy Bear." Katsuki replied. "Now get them out of my face!"

You laughed and did as your irritated ash-blonde requested. Your mom gives you back your letter. You gazed at it and the two drawings with gratitude. 

"Seeing Eri smile after everything she's been through reminds me why I want to become a hero. And the next time I come across a terrified child wrapped in bandages, I'm going to hold on tight and get that kid the help he/she needs."

"I'm glad to hear you say those words, but please don't go breaking any rules when you do help someone." Your mother remarks. "And don't act too much like your father."

Chuckling, Toshinori smiles sheepishly as he rubs the back of his neck. You didn't say this out loud, but Eri also made you realize that, somewhere in the future, you want to have kids. After a while, you and Katsuki went to your room. You both had to do that kakizome assignment over with before doing anything else. 

"Are you really going to be okay with working with that jackass?" Katsuki asked while you got out the calligraphy equipment. 

You stopped what you were doing and looked up at your boyfriend. He knew that you used to look up to Edeavor and he also knows that what the flaming hero said to you really hurt you. 

"I'm obviously am not a fan of Endeavor anymore, but he is a skilled pro hero." You answered. "Todoroki is going to work with his dad after everything he's put his own family through. So, I'm willing to put my dislike of that jackass aside if it means learning what I need to be a better hero."

Katsuki stared at you for a moment before sitting down next to you and grabbing a few of the supplies.

"Alright, but if he says more crap about you, I'm giving him a piece of my mind. I don't care if he's the current No.1 Hero. Now, let's do this damn kakizome homework already."

You smiled at your partner and the two of you got to work. Without a second thought, Katsuki chose 勝 (shou/katsu), meaning "victory," as his aspiration for the coming year. That's no surprise to you. Katsuki does value victory. The Kanji is literally a part of his first name. Save people to win, win to save people. And as for you, you chose 希望 (kibou), meaning "hope". You didn't choose this kanji because it's your mother's hero name. You chose this as your aspiration because that's what heroes do. They bring hope to the people they save. It's also what you represent. Your friends and your family sees you as a beam of light that brings hope to the people you care about. so that's what will drive you and that's what you're going to fight for. A hopeful future.

In the morning of New Years Day, you and Katsuki said goodbye to your family and rode the bus to meet up with your two friends. Once the four of you are together, Todoroki brings you, Izuku, and Katsuki to meet his father on an overpass in the city.

"Welcome!! To the Endeavor Hero Agency!" Endeavor welcomes the four of you kindly, only to aggressively change his mood and show his distaste for you, Izuku and Katsuki's presence. "I can't believe this. I only accepted you three because Shoto asked me to!! But to be honest, I wanted Shoto to come alone."

"You accepted, so stop complaining." Todoroki reminds.

"Sh-Shoto!!"

"I've been thinking this ever since the sports festival, but..." Katsuki said. "You're a real jerk."

"Shoto!" Endeavor exclaimed disapprovingly. "Do you really get along well with this brat!?"

"Well, I guess it's alright as long as I can see what the top agency is like."

"I thought I told you to chose your friends carefully!!"

"Can you really blame Katsuki for saying that, you-!" Izuku covers your mouth before you could finish your sentence. 

"Umm, thank you for accepting us, sir!" Izuku nervously laughs. When you calmed down, your friend uncovers your mouth and whispers an apology to you. 

Flame Hero: Endeavor. An extremely intimidating, yet reliable top hero. You still remember him from the sports festival... ever since your first encounter with him, you were no longer one of his fans. But now, there's something about him that's different. While you all walk down the street, Endeavor says something that you didn't quite catch. Before you could ask him to repeat what he said, Endeavor suddenly runs off.

"Sorry, but I have no plans to concern myself with anyone but Shoto." Endeavor said, springing into action as his flaming mask and beard appear on his face. "If you want to learn from me, watch me from behind!!"

When the No.1 Hero glanced back at you and your friends, you all have already put some of your hero gear on and started following Endeavor. 

"Your instructions, please!" Izuku said firmly.

"Like I said, watch me from behind!!" Endeavor burns away his coat and reveals his hero costume. 

"Watch him from behind, huh." Todoroki remarks, using his ice to follow his father.

"To do that, we're gonna have to keep up with him first!" Izuku adds.

You caught the sound of people screaming from a distance. This made you realize that Endeavor started running even before the four of you heard the commotion. This is all because of his incredible speed! You and your friends try to keep up with Endeavor, ready for action, but your new employer uses his Flashfire technique and outruns all of you. You cursed under your breath as you use the flames on your feet to go as fast as you can. Once you've finally reached the location of the disturbance, you see that the culprit is a villian with a glass manipulation Quirk. The villain is an elderly man, with wrinkles on his face, a slim body, a large white beard, and dressed as some cult prophet. The villain is riding on orbs made of glass as he flees from Endeavor down an alleyway. When they are about to come out of the other end, the old man calls for his minions, ready to ambush Endeavor. As the minions are about to strike the No.1 hero from the corner, you, Izuku and Katsuki charge in ready to attack them, but Hawks suddenly appears and defeat the villain's subordinates by himself effortlessly. 

"Oh!!" Hawks exclaims. "The work study students! Sorry looks like I was a bit faster than you all!"

"Hawks!?" You and Izuku said at the same time.

"I thought Endeavor might've been in a pinch, so..."

"Did it look like I was in a pinch!?" Endeavor snapped at Hawks, pinning the villain down.

"It sure did, didn't it, Shoto?" The Wing hero glances at the young Todoroki. 

"Um..." Todoroki stares at Hawks. "Ah... sure..."

"If you're planning to assist, contact me first." Endeavor remarks.

"Nah, I really just dropped in on a whim." Hawks replied with a smirk.

The police soon arrive to the scene and apprehend Starservant, the villain dressed as a prophet, and his minions. Starservant was saying some nonsense while the police pushed him into the police car, but you just ignored him and chatted with Hawks and your friends.

"Hi there, Hawks." You greet the Winged Hero. "My name is Hikari Yagi.

"And my name is Izuku Midoriya!" Izuku said.

"Ah, the finger-destroyer kid and the daughter of All Might." Hawks said. "I heard about you from Tsukuyomi. Man, I really wanted to work with him again too..."

"Didn't Tokoyami return to your agency...?" You asked.

"I had him go do some sidekick work in his hometown. My schedule has been just packed, you see.. I felt kinda..." Hawks notices Katsuki glaring at him. "...bad about it, but..."

"I was faster back there, you hear!?" Katsuki said.

"Haha, sure, kid!"

"Well!?" Endeavor marches towards Hawks with an annoyed expression. "What business did you have? Hawks!"

"It's not so much business, but..." Hawks turns to Endeavor and pulls out a book from his jacket. "Endeavor, have you read this book?"

You look at the book Hawks is holding. The cover is red with a black mask at the center and the title reads: "Special Abilities Liberation Front".

"Man, it's incredible! Did you know? They've been expanding like crazy recently! And they've been getting even more attention after the Deika City incident! Even though it's a pretty old book, it's predicted our current society! "If we only allow freedom to a certain few, the consequences shall fall on those who lack it." If you don't have time, just take a look at the parts I highlighted! What Destro wanted was the ultimate society! One where each person takes responsibility for themselves! Now is the time!"

"What are you trying to say...?" Endeavor asked.

"If that ever happens, Endeavor, both of us are gonna have too much time to spare!" Hawks gives the book to Endeavor. "Please do take some time to read it, okay?"

"The No.2 hero's book recommendation...!" Izuku muttered to himself. "I wanna read it too! Perhaps the secret to his speed is hidden within its pages..."

The Winged Hero obviously heard your freckled friend because he turned around and showed you, Katsuki, Izuku, and Todoroki a few more copies of the book.

"If you're interested, I've got plenty of copies to spare!" Hawks said enthusiastically. 

"So well-prepared!!" You exclaimed. "Where'd you even-!?"

Before you could finish your sentence, Hawks immediately hands you and your friends each a copy of his recommended book.

"So fast to hand them out, too!" Izuku adds.

"That's right! It's the age of the No.2 hero now!" Hawks said. "If you're looking for speed, these'll give you the power to read into the future!"

"You must really love this book..." Todoroki remarked. "You got so many of them."

"He probably keeps a few to hand out and spread the word." Izuku says to Todoroki. 

"That's exactly it, Midoriya!" Hawks grins and gives Izuku a thumbs up. "I'm recommending it to my friends and acquaintances across the country! Going forward, I think that "liberation" is going to become a founding philosophy of this society. At the very least, take a look at the parts I've highlighted. That's my recommendation, as Number 2." Hawks flies up with his large wings. "Well, I've gotta head out. Good luck with your work studies!"

You watched the pro hero fly away in awe. Despite being so young, he sees the world totally different... Not only that, he's pretty laid-back. You smiled, hoping to work with Hawks in the near future.

After all that, you, Katsuki, Izuku, and Todoroki finally made it to Endeavor's Hero Agency. You were over the moon when you met the Flaming Sidekickers, Endeavor's sidekicks. Your favorite among the group is definitely Burnin because you acted like a total fangirl the moment you saw her. You even asked for her autograph. Much to your delight, she didn't refuse you and gladly signed a random blank page in your journal.

"Thank you so much, Burnin!" You squealed with sparkling green eyes, hugging your journal as if it was a rare artifact. "Also, I'm looking forward to working here!"

"Yeah, well, since Endeavor is only interested in training Shoto, you and the other two will probably be working with us instead!" Burnin replied. 

As soon as Burnin said that, you instantly stopped acting like a fangirl and looked at her as if you were slapped in the face. 

"Wait, what!? I understand wanting to spend more time with family, but come on! Izuku, Katsuki and I came here for our work studies! That flaming idiot needs to throw away the favortism!"

"I only came here 'cause they told me I'd have front row seats to watch how the No.1 Hero works, dammit!" Katsuki shouts in anger.

"We still can!" Izuku tries to calm you and Katsuki down. "Please calm down, Kacchan! Himawari!"

"They're both right though, this isn't what we had planned." Todoroki said. "I'll go talk to him myself."

At that moment, the devil walks out of his office. You folded your arms across your chest and pouted, expecting the No.1 jerk to say what Burnin told you. Fortunately, he said something completely different. 

"Shoto. Yagi. Deku. Bakugou. I will be the one in charge of the four of you!"
