The Codexed Libraries and New System Parts

Dropping in front of a set of grand doors Xu Xiuying looked at the doors and stepped back and then looked around. Looking at the set of grand doors Xu Xiuying saw what he assumed was the library and looking away saw what surrounded the {Codexed Library}. Instead of seeing usual things that would surround a library Xu Xiuying was looking at a void. The vast open void seemed to suck in any light that came from the {Codexed Library}. From what Xu Xiuying could see the {Codexed Library} was sitting on a rock sitting in an open void.

Xu Xiuying began to approach the grand doors, and only when he was close did he notice small runic symbols carved into the doors that seemed to cover the doors completely, nearly blotting out the color of the wood the doors were made of. Grabbing a hold of the door handles Xu Xiuying pulled the doors open.

As the doors came apart, lights seemed to come up from both the right and the left side of the doors; And when the doors came fully open the lights began to appear on the shelf ahead of Xu Xiuying, and as he looked ahead more lights came on like a domino effect going far back as he could see, as the inside of the library seemed incomprehensible bigger than the size of the library on the outside.

Just as Xu Xiuying was inside of the library the doors swung closed behind him with a huge Thump. Slightly startled by the door closing behind him Xu Xiuying began to walk forward deeper into the library, as he walked he looked both left and right. On the shelves he saw books that seemed to be grayed out, but as he walked further in at the farthest reaches of Xu Xiuying’s vision was a different scene then everything Xu Xiuying had seen up to that point. There ahead of Xu Xiuying was a divan.

Once Xu Xiuying reached the divan he set his hand on it and looked around and realized that the divan seemed to be at the center of the {Codexed Library} as the shelves seemed to all come towards the divan like webs in a spider-web coming to a center point leaving the divan in a circle that had a rough diameter of ten feet. Having become entranced by the other aspects of the library Xu Xiuying did not notice the small side table next to the divan that held another tomb.

Finally realizing there was a side table Xu Xiuying looked at the tomb and grabbed it as he sat on the divan. As soon as Xu Xiuying touched the tomb a screen popped up in front of him.

Seeing the screen pop up Xu Xiuying was caught by surprise. Pressing yes at the idea he would be able to have an entire shop at the tips of his finger Xu Xiuying pressed {Yes}. As soon as he pressed {Yes} the tomb in Xu Xiuying’s hand seemed to disappear just like the others before it; And when Xu Xiuying opened his system he saw it split into different pages.

Pressing on the {Shop} tab the screen in front of Xu Xiuying changed. There was a search bar and different categories ranging from skills, items, and cultivation manual, along with a filter. Seeing things that he could buy just on the front page Xu Xiuying became excited, but realizing he didn’t have any money to buy things from the shop Xu Xiuying’s excitement died just as fast as it came.

Then at the bottom he saw a feature that said sell. Looking at it Xu Xiuying realized he could sell things from his inventory to gain money to spend in the shop. And the excitement that had died came back just as fast. Looking at the other addition to the system, the tomb had been added to the system Xu Xiuying pressed on the {Equipment} tab.

Seeing that the equipment page gave him a status on what equipment he had equipped Xu Xiuying seemed to understand the point of the {Equipment} tab. Looking back to the 4 tabs that made up the system, Xu Xiuying went to his inventory to figure out what he should sell to make some money.

Looking over what he could sell, Xu Xiuying mostly looked over the items he had an overabundance of. First he looked over what each item he sold could make him and decided what he would sell off so he could use the money to buy something more useful.
