Chapter 12

Techno and Itachi appeared in the middle of a park. Darkness embraced their surroundings, the only available light sources were the lamp posts.

Techno nodded as he read the instructions from Alaya. Itachi did not understand much so he tried to decipher as much as he could and would rely on Techno to confirm his understanding.

Techno stared at a message that made him feel strange, for some reason.

Techno looked at Itachi as he gave him a introduction booklet. "Give that to the new member then come back"

Techno looked at the button that would bring him sorrow.

Gacha...

"I'm not sure how a ninja would fare in the world of Gacha."

"DO NOT FAIL ME MY B RANK LUCK!"

He pressed the summon button to summon a servant from the Throne of Heroes. Alaya had told them that there would be 7 extra servants in the war but Alaya had managed to somehow influence and save 2 servants from being summoned by the enemy.

Techno looked at the servant and it he cringed hard before laughing.

On the screen was Caster Gilles who was basically utterly damn useless from the information Alaya had given.

Techno grinned "You fool!"

Techno has specifically purchased this before using the Gacha. The Gacha once again rolled as Techno begged "Please let it be a decent one"

The screen flashed with different images as it slowly stopped on one.

[Kiyohime]

[Berserker]

Techno tilted his head as he actually got a descent one with his B rank luck. Though he does have B ranked luck. It doesn't always work its wonder. Through his B rank luck, Kiyohime has been summoned with higher parameters!

A flash of light appeared as a girl his age appeared, speaking of age Techno and Itachi both noticed that they seemed to be stuck on their age.

The girl had light blue hair with a tiny green hue and sported two horns of her head. In her hands their was a fan as she wore clothing associated with Chinese culture.

She looked at Techno and asked.

"Are you my master?"

Techno looked at her before looking at the screen to confirm her identity. "Yes I am your master and you are Berserker?" Kiyohime nodded her head before she gave a warning "I don't like being lied to so please refrain from lying to me."

Techno nodded as he replied "I don't lie unless it's of utmost importance." Kiyohime smiled as Itachi appeared once again. Itachi looked at Techno as Techno explained everything to him. Kiyohime also seemed to listen as she wanted to know more about her master.

A bright light appeared as Itachi's servant had been summoned. Itachi seemed to be wary as his servant seemed like a kitsune. Itachi calmed down as he realised that she looked nothing like that damn fox.

"Are you my master?"

Itachi nodded with "Hn"

"Servant Caster"

Both servants astralised as they returned to spirit form. Techno and Itachi found lodgings at a motel near a school.

Techno and Itachi discussed their strategy to eliminate all of the extra servants to return fate to normal first. Kiyohime appeared as she wanted to know what was happening. Techno gave her a run down version of their circumstances. Techno stood up as he gave her a smile before heading to the kitchen. Techno was at least a head taller than Kiyohime so all she saw was a back that radiated charisma. Kiyohime smiled knowing that she had a good master.

Techno came out of the kitchen with noodles made out of... well potatoes. Itachi had a bite of the noodles as his eyes sprang open to the world of flavour. Kiyohime looked at Itachi's reaction before looking at her master.

Techno raised his eyebrow in an attempt to interpret her actions.

"You want a bowl?"

Kiyohime nodded as Techno sighed. "Here you can have mine." Kiyohime looked surprised while Caster appeared and hounded on Itachi's noodles while Itachi attempted to fend her off from the noodles.

Kiyohime was utterly surprised, never had she thought that her master would react like that. She decided to relinquish the noodles as she replied "No it's fine, you can have them after all servants don't need to eat."

Techno simply groaned as he stood up and patted her on the head before walking out. "It's fine you can have them, after all... You should experience things while you can."

With that Techno headed over to sleep away his exhaustion. Kiyohime felt her head as if she could still feel the head pat before looking at the noodles blankly. All elegance fell apart as she stared at the noodles and replayed the scene and attempted to dissect it all and search for any falsehoods or bad intentions.

Nothing. No lies or ulterior motives, none.

Kiyohime looked at the bowl of noodles left as she had to eat now that her master had already left them for her.

A bite was all that was needed for the flavour to burst through her mouth.

She sighed as she put down the bowl, "My master seems to be a better cook then me."

She bid goodbye to Tamamo as she astralised and watched over her master.

Techno slept soundly even though Itachi was still fending off the fox while trying to balance the noodles in the bowl.

Kiyohime simply watched over him as it was almost a calming activity for her until she noticed something strange.

"My master also smells like strawberries."

Another sniff happened as Techno's hair waved around from the wind. The scent of strawberries found itself to Kiyohime's nose.

"That's something new."
