Instantly, Min Hong felt a knot within his heart loose itself. That knot had been tied around his heart for a very long time, and over the years, every time Shen Li bullied him, the knot tightened further.
Within the entire Desert Flame Tribe, the person he hated the most was Shen Li; the latter was like an unending nightmare that tormented him at every turn.
A pin drop silence pervaded the entire lecture hall; even the seventh bearer couldn't mutter a single word, his breath was already stuck in his throat. Others who had been charging towards Min Hong skidded to a halt, blanching in terror as they gazed at the scene in front of them.
Min Hong on the other hand, eerily calm; it was as if the entire ordeal didn't even faze him a bit. However, the quieter his calm became, the louder others felt their hearts beat. The vibe they were currently getting from him was that of a Vengeful Judgement Enforcer.
Min Hong finally cracked a smile as he looked down at Shen Li, then with a slight turn, his gaze landed on the seventh bearer as he slowly walked over.
The seventh prince had always been spoiled; he had bullied many people, but to be the one on the receiving end of one, well no one thought that would ever happen.
However, when he gazed at Shen Li who was barely breathing through his bloodied mouth, and back at Min Hong who was wearing the brightest of smiles, his face couldn't help but instantly turn white.
"What are you thinking? Get back!" The seventh bearer sounded like a kid being whipped by an elder.
The fear within his trembling voice was palpable, and the icy killing intent leaking from Min Hong made it a thousand times worse, despite the innocent smile.
The little heir felt as if a knife was being pressed to his throat, and should Min Hong wish it, his head would truly roll of his shoulders.
Min Hong however said nothing, stunning the crowd because a smile still hung on his face as he slowly walked over.
What id he planning on doing?
Is he planning on killing the seventh bearer?
"No… no… don't come over…" The seventh bearer continuously retreated until his back touched the wall of the lecture hall.
Now that there was no place for him to run, the little runt had no choice but to watch Min Hong get closer and closer in utter horror. He could smell the scent of death.
"You shouldn't have forced me. Don't blame me." Min Hong pitifully shook his head as his hand slowly reached into his robes.
Then with a swift swing, his palm suddenly appeared before the seventh's bearer's head, buffeting his face with the momentum of its advent.
"NO!!!" The seventh prince screeched out a terrified shriek that cannoned off all the walls of the literature hall.
Everyone's hearts were jumping wildly.
Was Long Chen really planning on rebelling?
But what caused left them speechless was that Min Hong's hand had stopped right before the seventh bearer's face.
The seventh bearer had already shut his eyes in fear; still, even after waiting for a while, the feeling of excruciating pain he was expecting still hadn't arrived, so he eventually opened his eyes. However, what he saw upon opening them left him even more terrified.
Right there, hovering before his very face, and in Min Hong's grasp, was a small jade plaque with two stars gleaming with metallic sheen.
Looking past the badge and gazing at Min Hong's smiling face, the seventh bearer didn't even know how to feel anymore; and that because, compared to the previous Min Hong who looked like a vengeful judgement enforcer, the Min Hong smiling at him looked like a completely different person.
"Seventh bearer, look closely. This is an alchemist's identification badge. So tell me, do you still want me to kneel before you?"
The seventh bearer had already been frightened to death, so how could his immature brain possibly focus on the badge or its significance at that point.
"N-no… there's no need at all for that…" The seventh bearer didn't even bother to look back at the plaque; his eyes was totally focused Min Hong.
When he had felt Min Hong's unrestrained killing intent, he had been overwhelmed by the fear of death, and it tasted like blood. For a spoiled prince like him, the fact that he hadn't wet himself was already the greatest show of commendable bravery.
"Many thanks for understanding, seventh bearer." Min Hong smiled.
All one had to do to handle some entitled silkpants was to scare them a bit. Even with an alchemist badge, there was no way someone would dare to act like this to a tribe bearer; after all, this was still the core region of the Desert Flame Tribe.
"Let me help you up." Min Hong slowly reached out a hand.
Having been frightened to the point that losing all the strength in his body, the seventh briefly couldn't react; then he nervously grabbed the extended hand.
Min Hong knew he had to do this; after all, the kid was a tribe bearer, regardless. If the former had truly incurred the kid's ire, then he would simply be playing into Shen Li's schemes.
Though he didn't give a shit about the kid's status, Min Hong also didn't like being manipulated by people; so his actions could count, in a way, as him giving the seventh bearer a way out.
The kid was barely ten, and though he was arrogant, he hadn't experienced much. Now though, under Min Hong's carrot and stick approach, he was completely at a loss. After he got up, he still couldn't find words to say.
"Seventh bearer, would you like to sit with us?" Min Hong asked.
"Ahh, no, that's… no, I have some stuff to do, so I'll go." Upon giving his reply, the seventh bearer swiftly left the hall.
But the moment he stepped out of the hall, he stumbled repeatedly; it seemed like strength hadn't completely returned to his legs yet. Now however, he had great fear of Min Hong brewing deep within his heart.
Seeing the seventh bearer leave, Min Hong turned to look back at the group of heirs that had previously participated in attacking him. After seeing him beat Shen Li blue-black, they were all terrified and unmoving.
Feeling his gaze wash over them, their expressions paled horribly as they swiftly fled the hall.
Long Chen couldn't be bothered to deal with such a group of people, so he simply chuckled and looked away.
Though they had previously bullied him, the current him was no longer on the same level as them, as such, the bitterness and anger that he felt towards them were no longer as strong.
Then he began to stroll towards Shen Li whose breath was becoming increasingly shallow. The light in his eyes was fading, and it was really looking like he might die if he wasn't attended to very soon.
"Min Hong, you shouldn't kill him. Let's send him to the alchemist association; there should be someone there who is able to heal him," Long Feng advised.
Though the members of the alchemist association weren't physicians, they were still the closes group of people in terms of distance and knowledge in treatments.
Furthermore, this place wasn't the martial arena, and it was a private fight; if someone died, Min Hong would truly be unable to escape punishment.
"Don't worry. Look, his eyebrows are like messy grass, his forehead is practically caved in. A little fool like him won't die so easily. There's still some rosiness on his expression, see?" Min Hong replied with a slight chuckle
Fatty Yu and the gang were speechless. Shen Li was actually quite a handsome young man, so Min Hong's descriptions were clearly off; those changes were caused by how heavily he had slammed the former onto the ground.
As for his expression still being rosy? That was due to being to poor guy choking on his own blood. Yes, it was rosy, but it was actually almost purple. It was completely different from the rosy look of an healthy person.
Reaching into his robes, Min Hong took out a jade bottle and poured a bit into Shen Li's mouth.
Smack!
With two vicious slaps, Min Hong forced the Qi Recovery Potion down his throat.
Though he hated this guy to the extreme, he still remembered to act properly. It was true that he had heavily injured Shen Li, but he definitely wouldn't let him die.
With the Qi Recovery Potion, his internal organs would all be protected as they diffused into his bloodstreams; as for his outer wounds, well those were now the problem of the Shen Family. All Min Hong needed was to ensure he didn't die.
"Aren't you guys going to hurry up and bring him away, or are you waiting for him to die?" Min Hong coldly bellowed at the heirs who were left in the hall.
Though they weren't his lackeys, they were still friends of Shen Li. Upon hearing him snap at them, the heirs recovered from their shocks as they scampered over before carefully lifting the poor guy onto a table with which they stretched him back to his family estate.
They also conveniently brought the unconscious Meng Hao along as well.
"You, you, and you. Come and clean up the blood on the floor."
Long Chen pointed to several other heirs who had once bullied and mocked him. Seeing him point them out so clearly, their expressions paled; definitely he remembered their faces. Though Min Hong wasn't going to attack them, having them do such tasks did relieve some of his anger.
Those people who were pointed swiftly cleaned up everything diligently, and in a short few minutes, the floor was already sparkling clean; asides for the broken and crushed parts of course.
As a matter of fact, even Meng Hao's four canines were recovered.
What surprised Min Hong however, was that the old lecturer only came an hour after the cleaning was done. The lecturer looked at Min Hong in confusion for a moment before starting his lecture.
Min Hong couldn't help but curse beneath his breath. This old bastard was definitely paid off by Shen Li; otherwise, there was no way he'd be so late!
He had originally thought that all scholars were good people, but this train of thought had been turn on its head today. Feeling cheated, every shred of good impression Min Hong had of the old man was completely vanished with a puff.
After enduring the boring lecture and eating lunch, they all once again hurried over to the martial skill depository.
Fatty Yu and the gang however, didn't go; they were heading home to take the potion instead. Seeing Min Hong's tyrannic feats today, their hopes about their future on the path of martial arts had been lit ablaze once again; they didn't want to wait any longer.
Min Hong perused several martial skills, but none of them felt adequate; ordinary martial skills were no longer worthy of his attention. He swiftly read through the martial skills, and in just two hours, he had blazed through about 900 martial skills, but none of them satisfied him.
He already had two support martial skills now, what he was looking for was an attack or a defensive martial skill, with priority being on the former; after all, his physical body defenses could still sustain him for now.
It was no wonder the martial skills were free to be browsed through; they were all trash. Some were fragmentary or overly complicated despite their lack of effectiveness. However, the second floor of the martial skill depository could only be accessed by Blood Condensing experts.
Attack and defense type martial skills of such low level weren't of much use to Min Hong anymore; after all, his Battle God's Fury was much had a far better output that them, and his Chaotic Flash could do a better job at keeping him safe than the rest of these defense and movement skills.
Long Chen couldn't help but sigh in depression. However, just as he was about to give up, his spirit sense suddenly latched onto a specific scroll slightly jutting out from the rest. Other bookshelves were all properly aligned so each book had its own space, but there was a random pile of tomes.
They were also martial skills, but some were already torn up and the others were all incomplete. In short, they were the trash of the already trash depository; however, throwing them out would be too much of a waste, thus, they had just left them in this corner.
A certain scroll had strongly tugged at Min Hong's attention when he had looked at that corner.
Apparently, i was given two choices;
1. Withold the rest of the chapters till the pirated copy goes obsolete. OR
2. Continue to publish and earn from my readers through power stones, in-app gifts and financial support from readers....
So I've picked option 2... for my readers that can't financially support me, please kindly flood my novel with your power stones.
if my readers aren't stingy with their power stones and gifts, then I; Author-san would definitely not be stingy with my chapter release.
