Hidden Among the Stars

Alcra was the 46th child, and the 23rd daughter of Atlas.

She was on one of Atlas's main space battleships, the Pandora.

Floating above the Rennayan atmosphere.

She was placed in charge of communications and over watching the invasion.

Her reconnaissance team locked onto the spaceship, almost about to warp out of the Rennayan solar system.

She went below deck and sent out three teams of slaves from conquered worlds.

Then proceeded to arm them with weapons and technology capable of taking out a small country with.

The squads went out in three advanced shuttles.

Developed by the Cerian Empire, capable of tracking and keeping up with the warping spaceship.

Back on the Aratris...

Osei wondered, what had happened to his parents.

He had given his mother, one last hug, then was rushed onto the ship by the androids and the first attendant, Waio.

There were 25 androids on board, strong enough to kill full grown bears with just their basic functions.

They were tasked with keeping the two both of them safe, as they ran around the spaceship checking on all systems.

Osei noticed one of the androids, stare at a screen.

He asked it what it was looking at, but he went quiet, when he noticed his father and mother on the screen.

It seemed like they had picked up the transmission as they left Rennaya.

He watched as his parents were murdered by Atlas.

"Mom... Dad..."

Tears ran down his face, knowing for sure this time, that he would never be able to see them again.

Waio approached Osei, noticing him witness his parents murder.

Placing both his hands on Osei's shoulders, he kneeled and spoke to him.

"They made a big sacrifice for us, but we have to complete the mission..."

He paused briefly, clearing his throat, then continued.

"Young Osei, you are now the next ruler of Rennaya. We must revive Rennaya once again and grow it strong enough to take down Ceria once and for all... The serum is the key to all of that."

Osei shook his head

"I am no king."

He whispered under his breath.

They dropped out of warp speed in front of the Arflauge machine.

We have to enter the barrier slowly as to not damage the Arflauge, Waio thought.

Suddenly, a tense feeling creeped over him, like something was not right.

There was loud boom behind the spaceship.

The Aratris rocked back and forth, from the impact of two missiles striking it, from the back.

Everyone onboard was thrown around from the impact.

"Defence shields are at 60%."

One of the androids called out.

"Three shuttles inbound behind us. Less than 2 mins away."

Waio got back up, and checked on Osei, making sure he was alright.

Then he gave an order to the androids.

"Return fire. Then concentrate all power on shields and engines!"

The robots rushed to their positions.

Some ran around the spaceship working on maintenance and repairs, others went to weapons to return fire.

The fight between the ships intensified, as they approached the old satellite.

One of the ships in pursuit of the Aratris broke into a ball of flames, falling into the darkness.

Waio knew they would not be able to shake the rest off.

They had to split up.

"Osei, this is we're we will have to part ways...Take one of the shuttles below and head to Earth, find a human mother, as similar to your own as possible and complete the mission... After that stay hidden, live your life and guide your sibling."

Osei's tears started streaming down his face again.

"But... but... I don't want to leave you!"

He stuttered back

Waio shook his head.

"I have watched you grow. You've excelled in your training and you are really mature for your age... Wipe your tears now. I am proud of you and I am glad to have served you, Prince Osei."

Waio had served the royal family for 40 years of his life.

Taken in by Osei's great-grandfather as a starving orphan child on the streets, he felt like this was the moment, where he could repay his debt.

Three androids escorted Osei down to the shuttle bay.

He watched from the shuttle window, as the Aratris took continuous bombardment from from the assailing ships.

Their shuttle cloaked itself, in invisible camouflage, as it slid away from the battle.

The Aratris lead the ships away, to a large floating asteroid.

As if it protruded from a bubble, the shuttle passed through the barrier and made its way to the blue planet.

"Entering the solar system now, approximately 20 mins to planet Earth, by warp speed."

Osei, had too much muddling his 7 year old mind, to listen.

He gripped the serum tightly in his hand.

I can't fail he thought, over and over.

"A 92% match has been found on the continent of Africa, country Nigeria."

A bot confirmed.

They descended down, towards Africa invisible.

Osei wondered, if Waio was ok and if he would be able to see him again.

They landed on the outskirts of a small village in the state of Ekiti.

Osei told the helper bots to stay in the shuttle and to keep reaching out to the Aratris.

He took a cell device, called a Hizor.

It updated him on the location of the woman.

Osei was trained to be stealthy.

His nano-suit that his father had tailored specifically for him, kept him camouflaged and nearly invisible, as he made his way towards a small group of old houses made from clay and wood.

He approached the house, where the woman lived.

He scanned the house with his device.

Three people inside, one in the washroom, the other, asleep, and the last yet to be born.

He snuck around to the back the door.

Picked the lock with a skeleton key and entered slowly.

There were creaks.

He was frightened, but he proceeded cautiously.

Down the hall to the right.

The walls were crude and rough, but the home felt warm.

He felt relieved, knowing his sibling would be taken care of.

However what he was about to do, he knew was unforgivable.

He plunged the syringe into her arm as she jostled a bit in her sleep from the discomfort.

The nano technology carrying the genetic concoction made their way through her body carefully towards the unborn child.

Fusing, moving cells together to recreate the growing human being.

Unable to bare it any longer, she woke up.

Looking around flustered.

There was no one there.

Osei was already making his way back to the ship through the village.

Mission complete.

There was nothing more he could do.

"Status report."

He asked the androids, as he entered the shuttle.

"The Aratris has not yet, returned any of our outgoing calls. We think it may have been destroyed."

Another one of the androids continued.

"We have also discovered a small opening forming, due to the Arflauge deteriorating from age. Extensive repairs may be required to prolong its life."

He nodded thinking it over.

"Set a course for the Arflauge then, we'll dock and repair it."

"Affirmative."

All of the androids chimed.

The shuttle left the Earth's atmosphere, cloaked.

Thirty minutes later, they were at the Arflauge.

It was massive and ancient, Osei thought.

He sent one of the bots with everything it would need to repair the Arflauge.

It confirmed it's mission with him once again.

"I will repair the tear immediately. It will take roughly 5 months for me to complete the other diagnosis and maintenance."

He nodded, signalling the bot off.

Another person leaving him he thought.

An android at the console called out to him.

"Sir, we have sent a drone out to the asteroid and scans indicate, that there is still a battle engaging there."

Osei rushed to the console looking over the report.

"Ok, take us there."
