Chapter 7: Leo

After the soldier's departure, Reynold came into his room.

He took a meditation posture and started absorbing the qi according to the beginner's guide to cultivation. The book clearly mentioned the process of absorbing the qi and using the qi to open meridians.

He started directing the qi towards his first meridian in the hand. A sharp pain came from that meridian.

Reynold boldly told her his opinion. He thought that rather than saying sweet words, it was better to slap her with the cold truth. Garner has already said that there is too much inner politics in the palace. So it is a good thing if this teenage girl realised this earlier.

"Stop talking like you know about me. Everyone knows that Cloud Nine King is a good man. So, next time, don't talk about something you don't know about."

The lady really got angry this time. She really thought Reynold was spewing nonsense.

Even though she is a proud girl, she is not a bad one. That's why she decided not to treat Reynolds with a cold shoulder.

"Thank you, Lady Juri." He said so politely and left her.

After coming to his room, he chose to start cultivating. But rather than sit in this close house, he decided to search for a place with more fresh air. Without much thought, he entered the woods on the backside of the village.

"What nonsence. Don't tell me that you're the Mighty Leo of my clan. How did you even become like this?"

Reynold did not expect this. Even though he came to this strange world, he always believed that, with this mighty Leo, he could leave for his world whenever he wanted. But the appearance of this small cub really brought a smile to his face.
