"Do you think I would just let that happen, huh?" Alexander turned his head back with an angry at Charlie. "Hunters must have taken Denia by threatening her with my weapon!"
"B—But, Alex!"
Alexander stops his steps. "I didn't ask you to follow me," he glanced at Charlie over the tip of his shoulder. "Unless you do know where Hunter took Denia!"
"No, I don't know at all," Charlie said. "For God's sake, Alex. I'm not lying to you."
"Then help me find them!"
"But are you sure?" Charlie said, "Are you sure they went that way?"
For a moment, Alexander was silent. Right, he thought. Maybe Hunter did not bring Denia in that direction. However, he had no choice. He had to choose one of the two directions of the tunnel.
Didn't Hunter say last night that the other end of the tunnel would only take you to the center of the city?
Alexander took a deep breath.
"You have a better idea?" he asked a few seconds later.
