Dealing with a Buffoon (1)

There were many differences between the regular martial artists of Jianghu and the Mount Song Sect martial artists. Power, lifespan, secrets, wealth, numerous other things.

But the biggest one of them all was that those from the Mount Song Sect would openly show their martial arts to others, despite it being an unwritten rule of Jianghu to not show others their martial arts.

They showed off their martial arts to others because nobody could copy them. The movements were something only those who understood the breathing techniques and movements of the Mount Song Sect could use.

And that is why those who knew of the Mount Song Sect's existence, knew how to verify if one was from the sect.

As I finished performing the Golden Dragon Slash, the fifth elder of the Wudang Sect took his hands off his sword and placed them together before bowing toward the three of us.

"First, I would like to apologize for attacking the members of the Mount Song Sect, if you would be so kind, would you not report this foolish elder's actions to the Sect Leader?"

This was definitely the Fifth Elder I knew, he had committed a major grievence to what he thought was three disciples of the Mount Song Sect, going so far as to cut one of their arms off. If the Sect Leader found out about this, he'd probably wipe the Wudang Sect off the map.

"Fifth Elder, please don't bow to us, it's us who should have announced who we were before the fight."

"It is still my fault for cutting this young man's arm off, if there is any way I can help solve this issue, please allow me to."

This is going good, if things continue at this pace, I can have a Wudang Sect Elder owe me a favor and get Pyo Yong's arm reattached.

"Fifth Elder, there is a way you might be able to help with the current situation of Pyo Yong's arm, if you're fast enough that is. All I would need is a needle and some thread."

As the word 'thread' left my mouth the Fifth Elder vanished from my sight, leaving a cloud of dust and clear footprints in the ground where he once stood.

He was definitely going to a nearby town to buy a needle and thread, he may have been confused, but if there was a miniscule chance that he could clear up this situation, he would take it.

I walked over to Pyo Yong's severed arm and pressed the pressure points on it to stop if from losing any extra blood within it. Pyo Kang had already sealed the pressure points on Pyo Yong's shoulder while I was fighting with the Fifth Elder.

"Pyo Yong, I'm going to make you sleep by hitting your pressure points. And once you wake up, I'll have your arm reattached to your body."

After Pyo Yong slowly nodded his head in agreement, I looked at Pyo Kang, signaling him to hit his pressure point. To properly seal a pressure point, you need to have a certain amount of internal energy, which was something I didn't have.

Pyo Kang quickly caught on and struck the pressure points in Pyo Yong's neck, knocking him unconscious until the pressure points would be released.

Pyo Kang set Pyo Yong down on his back and watched his brother with a troubled expression. He was probably fearing that his brother would be unable to practice martial arts anymore after losing one of his arms.

The Fifth Elder would tap me on the shoulder ten minutes later, holding out a fine needle and thread for me to grab. Reattaching limbs isn't something normally possible for this era, but thankfully my knowledge of the future has some nifty tricks I can use to fix that.

"Thank you, Fifth Elder." I quickly replied before turning to Pyo Kang, "Pyo Kang, I need you to hold his arm in the same position it would be if it hadn't been cut off."

"Alright." He replied, grabbing Pyo Yong's arm from my hands and positioning it symmetrically to his brother's right arm.

I grabbed the needle and thread and positioned myself near Pyo Yong's left arm, my body's massive size would be a hindrance to this process, but there was no time to complain about it. If his arm was to be saved, I had to get this done as soon as possible.

"Kukukukuku...."

In the northern area of the forest, a sinister laugh could be heard echoing throughout a large cave. Scaring off any wildlife that may have been surrounding it.

A scruffy, middle-aged man wielding a bloodstained axe stood on the body of a giant serpent with a devious expression on his bloodstained face. The serpent's once white and blue scales were splattered with it's own blood, whilst it's head was still petrified with the rage of being attacked.

The middle-aged man licked the blood off his lips, "Kukukuku... Oh spirit, did you think I protected you all these years out of good will? You really should learn to trust humans far less in your next life!"

A vertical line spread down the serpent's body, starting where it's head used to be and ending at it's tail. In the center of the Serpent's body lay a brilliant sphere gleaming with light.

"Finally, the Namgung clan can have a spiritual core to itself! Once I bring this back to the clan, I'll definitely rise the through the ranks above that pesky old man."

'That old Wudang bastard should be done with those three pests by now, once he returns to give me the good news, I'll take him by surprise and cut his neck off.' The middle-aged man thought whilst grabbing the spiritual core from the serpent's body.

Fifteen minutes had passed. Only ten of which were used to stitch Pyo Yong's arm back on however, the other five have been used by the Fifth Elder.

As I didn't have any internal energy, I couldn't complete the rest of the process myself. And since Pyo Kang was too inexperienced with controlling his energy, the only person we could rely on to reattach the severed cells of Pyo Yong's arm was the Fifth Elder.

The process was simple, apply internal energy to the veins and arteries and stimulate them to grown and attach to their proper places one at a time, but simple procedures aren't easy to complete.

As in the five minutes the Fifth Elder had been focusing on healing the cells of Pyo Yong's arm, he had not even reattached one vein or artery. However, he was slowly getting the hang of how to perform the process.

A few minutes later, the Fifth Elder would break the silence, "I've successfully fixed one vein!"

"Good." I replied casually as I walked away from Pyo Yong's body, "Pyo Kang, help the Fifth Elder with your brother by providing him with as much internal energy as he needs."

"Alright, but where are you going?"

I kicked Pyo Kang's sword up into the air and snatched it as it began to fall, "To teach a certain buffoon who he should not be messing with."
