The Last Heroes: Warriors against the Sinful

An inevitable war broke out two thousand years ago in the Primal Region. Aliens, humans, and the 'special people' could not make amends. But peace was found at last the day one man stood between the three species. Later, the corrupted aliens and evil-doers devise a plan to out-smart this man. He died in the end, and the humans lost their home: Legon City, for 18 years. The 'special people' still live amongst the humans and have joined forces to retain the city! And these special people are known as...RONINS!

2.00: One at a Time.

Another quiet ride followed the end of Tedashii's Friday. "Wow, two lessons after judging others' hideouts surely has its lesson…"

"Never judge a book by its cover?" Franco asked.

"Kind of, but also…getting to know the captains at first glance puts my leadership in shame. I don't even know a lot about any of you."

"I think you could use that reason as an opportunity to connect with the guild more. Who knows, you might enjoy some of our hobbies."

Tedashii smiled. "What do you do in your free time?"

"It depends. If I'm not training or studying, I read. Playing sports also helps me ease my mind, but I love the silence of falling into the world of fiction."

"Whoa, I didn't take you for a bookworm…"

"That's only the half of your journey to bring the team back together."

SKRR!!

Franco stopped by Gaiyato's house and turned the engine off. "So, what did you learn from these two trips?"

"One is to set the bar for my teammates to look up to me. Haruro seemed like a kind person, but behind that desk, he's a whole boss."

"Ha, you should see him on the field. He was in charge of the apprehension when we had to take the city back."

"WHAT?!"

"Yup…Sir Willie knows about his focus as a leader, so even I ain't egoistic enough to put my IQ above his… except for-"

"Ryuko!"

They said simultaneously, "Agreed there. To ease herself so much into actually risking attack is a trust fall on its own!" Tedashii said.

"Not just that, they had someone still in your bloodline…an angel to add to it!"

"I didn't know there were still any Aois alive…after the incident."

They sat and stared at the house. "Well, that's at least two lessons out of the way. Tomorrow, it'll be the Moons and Rangers."

"Let's wager that their hideouts are actually normal." Tedashii sighed. "Thanks, Franco. I promise to make it up to you."

Franco smiled. "I don't need you to promise me that…If being a captain truly was your dream, prove it to me."

"You got it!"

And off he drove back home. "…One day at a time."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

BEEP! BEEP!

HIT!

Franco woke up from his early rest. "Alright, this will be a long day."

Morning Franco.

"Alto, how are you?"

I'm well but still slightly surprised to have encountered one of my brethren yesterday…

"Yeah? And to think there are still Aois living. Ryuko really has amazing assets in her squad."

I do believe in your captain, too. Hopefully, he keeps to his word.

"You and I might as well be-"

BONG!!

AAAAAHHHH!!!!

The sound of Bison's agony rose them in alert. "That's Bise! HANG ON!"

He ran down the hallway and made it to the backyard. "Bison! Is everything…"

Sob!

Franco halted as he witnessed Bison grieving on the floor. "…what happened?"

"…LOOK!!!"

Bison pointed at their basketball court as Tedashii was easily bouncing the ball. "Tedashii? What is he doing here?"

"I DON'T CARE WHAT HE'S DOING HERE! HE IS A MONSTER!!" Bison responded.

"You are not getting to the point…"

BOUNCE!!

He hit the ball one more time and raced for the obstacle course. With amazing dribble moves, he easily evaded the plastic defenders.

"Whoa! He really is good with his hands!" Franco was astonished.

And quickly, he threw the ball to the rim for a self alley-oop. "A DUNK? No, A LAYUP?? WILL HE CATCH THE SELF-LOB?!"

Tedashii caught the ball in the air and held it to his waist. "A REVERSE DUNK?? IF HE CAN PULL THIS OFF, HE COULD BE THE PERFECT PERSON FOR THE SCHOOLS-"

BONG!!

To such atrocity, Tedashii threw the ball from the Bottom of the net up.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"

"SEE?! KOBE DID NOT DIE FOR THIS!!!"

"HE IS ROLLING IN HIS GRAVE!!! MY EYES!!!"

"..." Tedashii spotted him and Bison at the entrance. "Hey, Franco! What do you think? My basketball skills are PRETTY neat, don't you say?"

"YOU HAVE SUCH HIDDEN TALENT TO THIS; KEEP IT HIDDEN!"

"NEVER TOUCH THE COURT EVER AGAIN!!"

Tedashii was confused as to why they were shedding tears after his performance. "Did I do something wrong?"

"YOU ARE AN ANOMALY TO THIS SPORT!! HOW DARE YOU DO SUCH TO MY EYESIGHT?!?!"

SOB!!

Bison kept weeping and left. "At least tell me what I did wrong…"

"It's alright, don't mind him. Anyways, what are you doing here so early?"

"I came to get to know you better. Remember the thing you said?"

Franco thought back to their conversation in the car. "That…I play sports to ease my mind?"

"Yeah! And you're right, basketball is fun!"

He picked up the ball and threw it the same way as before. A vein budged on Franco as he tried to keep his composure. "Tedashii… that's not how you play basketball…"

"Wait…other way around?" He picked it up again and threw it with force.

BOUNCE!

CRASH!!

It hit the rim and recoiled onto the neighbor's car. "…"

Franco picked him up and ran for their vehicle. "BISON, WE ARE HEADING OUT!! BYE!!!"

SKRRR!!!

"Huh, where are you guy…." He walked out and saw the neighbor in their yard with a bat in his hand. "FRANCCCOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"
