1.99: El-Ray

They entered the Hazel hideout with a drenched Tedashii. "I'm never trusting you ever again.."

"Hey, I said you go first. I did NOT say jump, and you didn't even know how to get in…why did you-"

"Not throw the rock first? Because IT'S NOT GENEROUS ENOUGH!"

"Haha, yeah, I said that…anyways, welcome to our lagoon!"

They looked around and saw tunnels at every turn of the place.

"On second thoughts…I thank you for our hideout." Tedashii said to Franco.

"SEE?!"

"Oh, come on~…we aren't even in the place yet."

"Wait, really?" They were confused.

"At least judge the place when you've made it in. What you're seeing is the training ground. Once we are done, the tunnels lead to everyone's room."

"Oh, that's pretty smart of you. At least you don't invest HALF your earnings on a cyber-garage!" Tedashii exclaimed.

"I SMELL AN INTRUDER!!"

"ZONE!"

SLAM!

Franco protected him and Tedashii from the incoming attack. "Ah, crap! A barrier…"

"EXPAND!!"

BZZT!!

The zone purged forward and electrocuted the ronin. "GAAHHH!!"

"Ringo, I got your back!"

~LIGHT PROWESS: CASTING GLOW!

Suddenly, Franco's zone had a space for them to infiltrate. "What? That's not possible.."

"My turn to attack!!"

FLING!! FLING!! FLING!!

"ZONE!"

BWON!!

CLANG!!

Franco parried another of their attacks with a second zone. "What are you guys doing?!" 

"Isn't it obvious? getting rid of the intruders!" Ringo said. He had silk-spiked hair with his purple guild coat. "I'm surprised you even managed to guard my EL-RAY!"

"WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?"

"Oh, I see what's going on…" Tedashii stepped out of the zone. "We set foot on the training ground, meaning they're looking for a fight."

"He-he, by your emblem, I'll assume you are the captain…TADASHII!"

He frowned at how he said his name. "IT'S TEDASHII! AND YEAH CHALLENGE ON!!"

~HIRAGANA!!

BWOOSH!!

He summoned his armament and built up spiritas. "You ready, emo?"

Ringo bulged with anger and held his hand to his side. "EL-RAY!"

ZAP!!

Lightning struck from the ceiling as he kept charging.

"A lightning user…Well, I guess you're summoning a pole or-"

SWOOSH!!

 Tedashii dodged as an eighty-inched axe swiped above his body. "…"

"Still think I'm playing around?"

"WHY THE HELL IS IT EVEN THAT-"

CLASH!!

Tedashii blocked his second swing, but the difference in their weapons' weight and size sent him flying into one of the tunnels.

"TEDASHII!"

"FOCUS ON THE TASK IN FRONT OF YOU!!"

SMASH!!

Franco dodged another attack from above, but Aira Yakuza escaped her tunnel this time. "You're fast…"

("Dammit, Tedashii. These guys are crazy, and I'm not sure how many members are here.") He said to himself, then started building up spiritas.

~ALTO ANGELO!!~

BWOOSH!!

He summoned his immortal and took his stance. "Okay, advanced zone it is!"

"Franco~ that's cheating. You can't use such a card against us." The vice-captain, Beni Aoi, emerged before him. "I will have to even the odds then…"

~AZUL ANGELO!!~

BWOOSH!!

PUNCH!!

Franco could not react to his sudden burst of speed. "AHH!!"

~CASSOULE PROWESS: TETSU NO KEN!!

HIT!! 

He connected his punch onto Beni, setting them apart. "AHHHH!!!!"

SMASH!!!!

"ARRRGGHHH!" Franco turned his arm into steel and hit them simultaneously. The shock wave was immense, considering the size of the tunnel.

THUD!!

All the members were out cold as Franco stood above them all. "We win, Hazels…"

"…" Tedashii just stood there in absolute shock. Witnessing Franco's true strength motivated him to take this fight more seriously.

CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!

"Okay, you guys win!" Ryuko approached him with admiration. "I didn't think you'd be able to overwork Beni, you are-"

WOOSH!!

"THE VICE OF THE ELITE FORCE!!" Tedashii rushed at her from behind.

"It's over, Tedashii..."

GRAB!!

"…" The whole squad immobilized him as he was a hair away from her. "Oh my, that was a close call. But now you understand why I had not powered up once this entire time…" She pointed to his heart. "As a leader, I know that the job will be done when they're around me. I trust them like that."
