1.71: A blind student

He fell outside the school after colliding with one of the new students.

"Ouch, that's gotta hurt," Franco said.

"Yeah I hope they are okay-OH MY GOD!"

NOOOO!!!

The school went outlandish as they witnessed what had transpired. Tedashii slowly opened his eyes until he went blank.

"…HUH?" Brittany could not believe it.

He ended up kissing the new kid midway through their collision. "GAH!! SORRY-(*Vomits)"

"TEDASHII YOU MORON!"

"CAN'T YOU WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING?!"

"HE JUST KISSED THE NEW GUY!!"

"It..was a mistake. Hey man, sorry for the sudden collision." Tedashii said. But the new guy began to blush. "That…was my first kiss…"

"huh…?"

The girls began to yell again.

"NO, THAT WAS HIS FIRST KISS?!"

"LET'S CREMATE TEDASHII!!"

"I WANNA CRY RIGHT NOW!"

"G-Guys, please calm down. I am okay." He said.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!"

A heavy voice brought back order to the school. Mr. Tie arrived at the entrance as everyone made way for him. "Not causing any trouble, I hope, Mister Katsuno?"

"N-N…no sir.." Tedashii fearfully replied.

"Good. Because you see that group next to you? You are going to give them a tour around the school."

WHAT!

The girls were again against the decision.

"I AGREE WITH THEM TOO, SIR. I don't even know the school that-"

"Did I make it sound like I asked for ANYONE'S opinion?" Tie asked with spiritas flowing out his body.

Tedashii shut his mouth and just nodded his head.

"Good, now, all of you get inside the school. Your teachers will announce what's going to ensue today."

And with that, all the student returned to their classes and continued their daily activities.

"Dammit. First Brittany, and now this." Tedashii said to himself.

"Sorry for all the trouble." The new kid said.

"Oh, don't worry. I'll manage; by the way, I'm Tedashii Katsuno."

He smiled while shaking his hand. "Nice name. My name is Seto Kaname. A pleasure to meet you."

Tedashii stood still as Seto was hand-shaking thin air. "Uhh, I'm on your left."

"Oh, right! Sorry."

Tedashii looked closer at his eyes and noticed he didn't have an Iris, just like him. But he did not have red eyes, rather gray and lifeless.

"Sorry if this is a personal question, but are you blind?"

Seto smiled.

"Yes, he is." Another of the new students approached them. "My name is Mizuki Kurosawa, a friend of Seto."

He had long white hair in a ponytail, yellow eyes, and gloves on his hands. Alongside him were two other students, a boy and a girl. The boy had brown hair, orange eyes, and an excited smile. The girl had purple hair and grey eyes and was very clingy with Seto.

"Oh, this is my twin sister. She will also be attending school," he said.

But Tedashii could not stop looking at the two siblings. They just reminded him of his relationship with- "Tedashii?"

He stopped spacing out and saw Toru and three Sapphire Dawns with him.

"Oh, hey, guys."

"Who are your new friends here?" Suna asked.

"They're new students I need to show around the school."

"Wait, but you don't even know where the bathroom is," Eon said.

"Mr. Tie said I had no say, so I'm doing it."

"Hmm, I can help," Toru suggested. "That way, we can all take them around quickly."

"Oh sure, that will be great-"

But Seto pulled Tedashii's shirt behind, notifying him that he didn't want others to help them.

"It looks like Seto wants only Tedashii here. It's alright. Toru, was it? You can take us two around. Seto and his sister will stay with him." Mizuki said.

So they took him and the other boy inside while Tedashii stood outside. "Why didn't you want him to help?"

"Well, I'm not really that great at communicating with people I don't know…and besides, I feel more comfortable if it's you."

"Uhh, thanks, I guess?" Tedashii didn't want him to get any ideas, so he tried to smile back.

"Great! Now that we're friends, let's have some nicknames."

"Eh?" Tedashii looked at him. "Nicknames?"

"Yeah, that's what friends do, right?"

"Y-Yeah…but we don't even know each other very-"

"Ted!"

"What?!" Seto ignored him and gave him a nickname. "There is already a guy called that."

"Oh, well, how about spike?"

A vein bulged on his face when he heard that. "… Right."

"AWESOME! Seto and Spike to set the city ablaze!"

"Uhh, you're tapping a wall." Tedashii corrected him.

"Oh, My bad."

"Anyways, your little sister. What's her name?"

"Her name is Noriko Kaname, She's 18."

Tedashii approached her and smiled. "Hey there, Noriko. I'm Tedashii. Nice to meet you."

But she kept looking at him without a sense of reaction.

"Oh, does she hate me too?" He asked.

"Haha, no. She can't hear you. We were both born with defects; I can't see, and she can't talk or hear."

Tedashii felt terrible for pointing out their disadvantages in the worst of ways. "I'm a horrible human being…"

"Don't worry. It's alright, Spike."

Tedashii cringed when he said that, but he decided to let it slide. "But can I ask for a favor, Tedashii?"

"Sure. What can I help with?"

"Do you mind if we…go somewhere a little private?"

"GAH! WHAT FOR?"

"Spar…"

Tedashii stopped freaking out and listened. "Spar?"

"I want to train with you."
