An inevitable war broke out two thousand years ago in the Primal Region. Aliens, humans, and the 'special people' could not make amends. 1.52: The ranking of Quarts

"Two thousand years ago, war was inevitable. People saw fire, Ice, Earth, Wind, Lightning, and Energy pass them with just a small glare. Humans, Aliens, and the "Power-driven People" were up and about nonstop. You woke up and then died; that was the life of the past.

Years later, the elements split into different clans: Nakamorian(Fire), Native(Ice), Cassoule(Earth), Aoi(Wind), Motsubi(Lightning) and Yakuza(Energy). As each clan individually united, they built nations that grew as one. But, one warrior, responsible for the jointure of all species, was the Best 'Human' to live.

However, the aliens saw him as a threat and, as a result, summoned war on all the clans. The humans both had malevolent associations for eighteen years but lost their city and the Best Human. The aliens dominated and ruled over the humans; nevertheless, the Power-driven were exiled to duel among these associations.

Some lived, and some died. Some started to live among humans. These power-driven people were known as…"RONINS!"

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

"Tedashii! What's the matter?!"

A new day arrayed, but the nightmare that always haunted Tedashii did not deduce its occurrence. Miku came to his aid right after she heard him scream.

"What…Aunt Miku? How did I make it here?" He asked.

"You fainted after your encounter at the hospital, and Gaiyato didn't want to tell me what was going on. What happened that someone like you would pass out?"

Tedashii just looked back onto the bed sheets and clenched his teeth.

HIT!!

A bag fell from the window and hit Tedashii on the head. Sensei Haruki arrived with food and clothes for him.

"Master Haruki?" Miku called him.

"MIKU! I hope you are alright and all is still well here. Tedashii, get dressed. We are going for a good ole walk, you and I!"

"…HUUUUHHHHH?????!!!!!!"

CHAPTER 17

THE RANKING OF QUARTS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

***

Tedashii was on his way around the city with Sensei Haruki. He admired how fast the people re-adapted to their old lives, regardless of how long it had been away from the city.

"So, what are we doing here?" He asked.

Tedashii stopped spacing out and then paid attention. "WHAT?! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SAID WE SHOULD WALK FOR A WHILE!!! HOW SHOULD I KNOW?! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU ARE!"

"Didn't you notice?"

Tedashii looked around and saw they walked a straight path from Gaiyato's house.

"You were walking ahead alone without even asking me that. Your mind is not in the right place, Tedashii." Haruki said. "I understand where you are coming from; your sister finally woke up from a fearsome life-death situation. And on the day you guys finally reunite, she does not recognize you at all. But if you let that wear down all you've accomplished so far, you won't be useful to society."

Haruki then gave him his grandfather's ski goggles. "Your team needs you at your best at all times, so never demotivate yourself against anything."

Tedashii smiled at him before a thought came back to him. "Wait a minute...where did you even get these?"

Haruki spat out the water in his mouth.

"Where did I get what?"

"My grandfather's goggles?!"

Silence momentarily emerged while Tedashii was goggling into Haruki's blank face. He blinked twice right before Haruki took a run for it.

"HEY!! COME BACK!"

Tedashii ran after him. They both dodged every obstacle that came their way in the city, whether it was people, pets, or trees. Haruki went to City Park, where a vast dam separated two ends.

("Damn. He's fast for an old man!") Tedashii thought.

Haruki glanced at the dam and began to run on the water.

"WHAT?!" Tedashii could not believe what was going on. "How did you...?"

"HAHA, WATCHING AND STARING WON'T HELP YOU CATCH ME!!" Haruki said, continuing to run to the other end.

He always made sure that his steps were as light as possible. Once he turned around, Tedashii was gone.

("Huh? It looks like he gave up already. Well, that can save me some-")

BLOP! BLOP!....BOOM!!!!

The water beneath Haruki's feet burst open as Tedashii came from below to strike at him.

~HAKURAA: BLUE ROSE FIST!!

BAM!!

Tedashii executed a perfect hit on Haruki's stomach and sent him flying. But he quickly recovered and made it to the other end of the dam.

"Tch, you got me off guard...BUT the good news is that I'm-"

He opened his eyes and saw another attack heading his way.

WHOOSH!!!

A Raven Tornado was fired right in front of his nose. He just watched it go above him, but as it vanished, Tedashii appeared again.

~HAKURAA: HIRAGANA BLADE FRINGE!

Air covered Tedashii's palm as he shaped it into his Hiragana, aiming at Haruki's eye.

SLASH!!

He looked around, and Haruki was gone. "Dammit!"

He was still running but made his way into the crowd this time. ("Can't attack me with humans around me, can you?")

Tedashii jumped into one of the buildings as fast as he could. He ran up the stairs to reach the rooftop. He then looked down from a bird' s-eye view. "THERE YOU ARE!"

Tedashii looked at the other building and ran for the jump.

HOP!!

He swung his arms to gain more lift without looking at the ground. Ronins can't fly, and only some can. So foot races were one way to catch your opponent. The crowd noticed Haruki trying to blend in, and they made way for him.

("Wait, NO! You guys should stand closer!)

So he stopped and kicked one of the buildings. He forced all his strength onto his legs and then took another step. All the citizens were amazed at how he could walk on a vertical platform to the roof. Tedashii just watched out of shock.

"Eh, that actually worked?"

LEAP!!

Tedashii chased him onto the other roof, and the pursuit continued. Haruki jumped from roof to roof, with Tedashii still on his tail.

("I have to find a way to make him stop-...!!!")

Tedashii jumped back down to ground level, but Haruki did not stop.

"Alright, he finally gave up-."

BAM!!

Tedashii rushed back up with a strike to Haruki's gut. This time, he connected it perfectly.

"GWAH!"

Haruki was out cold and began to fall, but Tedashii was not finished there.

"TAKE THIS!"

He put his feet together and DRILLED Haruki down to earth again.

SLAM!!!!!

The citizens surrounded their landing spot as it alarmed half the district. Tedashii then began to charge up spiritas to finish Haruki off.

"No more running away!" Haruki kept staring into Tedashii's eyes with a smile.

~HAKURAA: BLUE ROSE-

"Tedashii?"
