The Last Heroes: Warriors against the Sinful

An inevitable war broke out two thousand years ago in the Primal Region. Aliens, humans, and the 'special people' could not make amends. But peace was found at last the day one man stood between the three species. Later, the corrupted aliens and evil-doers devise a plan to out-smart this man. He died in the end, and the humans lost their home: Legon City, for 18 years. The 'special people' still live amongst the humans and have joined forces to retain the city! And these special people are known as...RONINS!

1.47: I am Gale Wind!

*Central District entrance; Legon City*

***

All the citizens were making their way back to the city. With all their luggage and cars flooding the city, happiness finally returned to them. Gaiyato made this possible by creating portals from Headquarters to the central.

"Look at them, smiling after so long." He said.

"I don't know how happy they should be. We don't know how many demoniacs are still lurking around." Hade said but stopped smiling and asked Gaiyato why he had broken his contract.

"… I'm gonna get fired for this, won't I?" Gaiyato asked.

"That all depends on Sir Williams. We have followed this rule for eighteen years, ten since you joined Rebirth. What made you break it all of a sudden?" Hade asked.

"Hade. Can I ask you a question?"

"What? Sure, I guess…"

"If your family were on the verge of fighting a battle they wouldn't win, would you leave them there?"

Hade lost all the anger and thought to himself. "Well, of course not. But this was a rule we had to follow. It's been so long; you saw so many teenagers get promoted and then die during a retrieval. What was so different about this time?!" Hade said.

"My nephew, Tedashii. He died during the apprehension and later on began to revive when my wife called. I don't know what came to mind; I acted as if he called for my aid."

Hade felt terrible that his mentor might get fired. He only got to know him for a month and broke one of the most important rules as a Rebirth member. They were all cased with one contract: To let the young ronins own the spotlight and shine in their prime. That is what the Williams family kept. You would have to discharge your thoughts of fighting with them rather than arrive later for detaining.

Gaiyato just smiled and returned to Headquarters when all the citizens were in.

The news reporters were the first vehicle to race to the Central District. The famous Chloe Sapphire, the eighteen-year-old girl who witnessed every battle since childhood, and the world's 'strongest' human, Gale Wind, arrived to tell the tale. He had snow-white-blue hair, green eyes, and the smile of any arrogant streamer.

"We are reporting live in the city of ghosts that used to be known as Legon City. After eighteen years of fighting all the villains that grasped onto our land, our President, Sir Williams Pluto, finally came with the right ronins to fight back for the city. I'm joined today with the world's strongest human, GALE WIND!"

"Thank you so much, Chloe. It is with great pleasure to be here." He responded.

"Our studio still has eighteen years of cleaning to do, so we'll bring you the news from outdoors today."

She kept doing her best to entertain the viewers by guessing the weather and making fun of all the mess in some buildings, and Gale just stood next to her for any questions she asked. Suddenly, he heard a voice calling for help from one of the corners.

"Uhh, Chloe. Give me a minute. I hear something from the corner 100km away from here!!" Gale lied.

"100KM!?!? DID YOU HEAR THAT FOLKS?! YOU ARE ABOUT TO WITNESS THE FAMOUS GALE WIND SPRINT 100 KILOMETERS FROM HERE!!" She said. But when she looked back, Gale had already begun running.

"WHOA!! HE'S ALREADY SO FAR AWAY!"

He was out of their site but didn't run 100km. He meant to say 10m, but who would want to see a man run such a small distance? That's what he thought to himself.

"Citizen! I have arrived at your cry for…help?" Gale said until he looked at who it was.

Blood was scraped all over the floor, leading to the dead end of that alley. He met up with the former leader of Hajiman and the latest opponent of Tedashii, hanging onto any last drop of life he had left in him.

"Pl…please…help…me," Motoroshi said.

"Sir…what happened to you?!" Gale asked, keeping his distance.

*Whispers*

"Huh?"

Motoroshi began whispering to himself, so Gale took a step closer. But for each step he took, Motoroshi spoke softer and softer. It finally led to him being as close to his mouth as possible.

"Sir, what were you saying?"

RUMBLE!!

Aura closed the path out of the alley, cornering Gale. "Huh? What's going on??!!"

~Terminate All~

CRACK!!

The realm finally broke open. Gale fainted onto the floor while Motoroshi felt healed once more.

"Strongest man, I can tell that wasn't just a say. But why do I feel…so young."

Motoroshi. You're back.

He turned around as fast as possible.

"Who's there?"

It's me, AlEnkei.

He switched to his inner voice.

("Enkei? It's you. How are you able to communicate with me?")

It appears you couldn't use me after almost eighteen years. What did you do now?

("I used Verbis Diablo.")

I see. Well, can you sync with me?

("…Let me try.")

He took a deep breath.

"TERMINATE ALL, ALENKEI!"

BWOOSH!!

A massive gash of wind blew in the area, blowing Motoroshi's old body deeper into the alley. Now, he finally felt his speed, but far more advanced. He opened his eyes and felt all the spiritas in his body.

("This is my Reviver State?")

Yes. And now that you can summon me anytime, we can communicate like usual.

*Car stopping!!

Motoroshi heard a car stop near the alley, so he returned to normal.

"Whew, we finally made it made it folks! Gale Wind ran 100km and back; he must be found where the huge explosion was heard." Chloe said as she and the cameraman ran to the alley.

Motoroshi was prepared to end them both if they got any closer.

"Mr Gale Wind, what did you find in this alley?" She asked, and then she saw the trail of blood on the floor. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

She fell, and the cameraman dropped the camera, losing the signal.

"Gale, are you alright?!" Chloe asked as she came to see him.

"Gale?" He asked her.

"That's your name, dummy! Don't scare me like that!"

He walked past her and went to the van window, finally noticing the difference. Without a clue about the consequences of Verbis Diablo, he now knew. He was in Gale Wind's body but with only 10% of his own memories.

"Uhh, Mr Gale Wind. Are you alright?" The cameraman asked.

"…Gale Wind…the…strongest human in the world…"

He kneeled at the rims of the car. With a tap of his finger, he unscrewed one of the screws.

"WHOA!!" Chloe and the cameraman were shocked.

He then looked at them and suddenly sprinted towards them.

"Move!" He alerted them, then moved out of the way.

And with one kick, he discarded the wall that closed the alley.

"Gale Wind. Yes, I am Gale Wind."
