The Last Heroes: Warriors against the Sinful

An inevitable war broke out two thousand years ago in the Primal Region. Aliens, humans, and the 'special people' could not make amends. But peace was found at last the day one man stood between the three species. Later, the corrupted aliens and evil-doers devise a plan to out-smart this man. He died in the end, and the humans lost their home: Legon City, for 18 years. The 'special people' still live amongst the humans and have joined forces to retain the city! And these special people are known as...RONINS!

1.42: Celebration after Victory!

So, the feeling of war finally laid low. All the captains and their teammates returned to Headquarters, where their actions would be judged in five days. The highest members of authority arrived concurrently, with Sir Williams Pluto as the host of the gathering. Lord Odin and Lady Valkyrie, The Primal Region juries, never foresaw that Legon City would ever be saved, so this was a significant meeting.

The Elite Force was sent to the HQ hospital to recover. Drained to their limits after the battle, neither bothered to wake up—only Franco and Makoto were gathered in Tedashii's room with Gaiyato by his side.

"Well then. Now that we are here let us begin our serious talk. So you two, explain to Tedashii what you did and why."

Makoto stood forward. "Mr Gaiyato-"

"I said address yourselves to him, NOT me!" he exclaimed. Makoto then looked at Tedashii and then looked back down.

"Tedashii,…we-"

Franco held his shoulder and shook his head. "Max, I think it'll be better if it came from me."

"Franco, …"

He just smiled at him, and Makoto let him through. He stood in front of Tedashii, and all he did was go on one knee.

"Hey, Franco. You don't have to be like-"

"This means nothing compared to my acts. I deserve this no less than anyone. Tedashii, We…no, I killed you."

Tedashii's eyes widened, and Gaiyato frowned at him. "I just felt jealous of you, so my ego pushed me to do it. I made that hole in your chest. I stabbed you with your sword and piled it to the ground."

Tedashii looked at the whole, noticing that it had a round shape. "But why would you be jealous of me?"

Franco was quiet. Gaiyato cracked his neck, and he immediately began to speak again. "Tedashii…just like you…"

He looked down to the ground. "I was also a Calamity."

Tedashii still did not know what a calamity was, but he kept paying attention. "I also have the same problem as you. I have an Immortal that I can't control. But for me, it is a bit more beneficial. You and I, and any other calamity, can gain unimaginable power from being knocked out. That power is from our Immortals. For every chosen captain, they lost control in different regions during the dream or were victims of an attack from one."

Tedashii knew what he meant by all of this, but this did not line up the point of his jealousy. "I can control my thoughts while I'm unconscious. That's why it's easier for me to sync with my Immortal. I always knocked myself out on purpose because I wanted to be one of the calamities. They detained me, but I was thrilled knowing that I would be noticed as a major threat."

He clenched his fist. "But then, instead of moving me to a room where they'd interrogate me, they took me where all the other 'Lucky ronins' were. That gave me my place in that quarts. I was not chosen…but you were."

He stayed silent and stopped frowning for a bit. Then he looked into Tedashii's eyes. "I don't know how you are stronger than me, but if they took you in and not me…I know where my level is around you. I killed you, with your Immortal's armament, thinking that it would end your life…and after all that, remain as the captain. Guess I was wrong; here you are."

Franco then sighed and smiled at him. "I can't tell you how sorry I am because my ego doesn't want to belittle me sometimes. If you want to kick me out of the team, I'll respect that-"

"That is not to be decided by him," Gaiyato exclaimed as his eyes began to glow. Franco was ready for what seemed inevitable.

"…"

Suddenly, they began to laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Oh, come on, get up, Franco." Franco looked up at Gaiyato. "Yes, you've lost your place as captain. But don't forget, you're still part of my unit."

Gaiyato then walked to him and lent a hand to stand up. "I know for something you did…I would have killed you the day we set eyes on each other. But as the mentor, I had to hold back on that thought."

Gaiyato then turned towards Tedashii.

"Tedashii, when you fully recover, we will decide who will be part of your guild and who you will let go of."

As he said, let go, Tedashii stared at Makoto and Franco.

"You know what happens to those that get kicked, right?" Gaiyato then made a slashing gesture with his finger around his neck. Franco and Makoto both began to tremble.

"Alright, Uncle. I'll decide on my members tomorrow morning."

Tedashii looked back at both of them. "Can you please give me a moment with my uncle?"

They didn't say a word and walked out immediately.
