1.41: A Literal Breaking Point!

"AAAAHHHHH!!!!"

Franco was caught in Hakuraa's master plan. When he isolated himself inside the steel barrier, it enclosed all the sound going in or out. As Tedashii hit it as hard as possible, the sound bounced from every angle of Franco's Steel sphere.

"LET'S FINISH THIS!"

TAP!

The vibration kept erring into Franco's ear, which disrupted his focus on his spiritas. The distraction made the metal gloom up into mercury. All Franco felt now was blood dripping from his chest.

"No way…" Yuro said.

Tedashii held his hand onto Franco while the zone vanished. He couldn't believe that he got outsmarted that badly.

"I…win..." Tedashii then pulled his hand away and went on one knee.

"TCH! THAT WAS DUMB! I'LL FINISH THIS FIGHT THE RIGHT WAY!"

Franco held his palm towards Tedashii's face, and a red aura grew out rigorously.

"SAY GOODBYE!!"

Makoto tried to stop him before he killed Tedashii again. "FRANCO, WAIT!!!"

All the captains ran towards him to avoid a calamity.

~CHIMEI-TEKI!!

BOOOOMMM!!

Franco blasted everyone away, and the spiritas he laid on that attack was immaculate. He kept his place until he was sure Tedashii had finally died.

"Huh?"

His blast suddenly began shrinking, and Suzuki laid it back into his palm.

"Suzuki? … But how?"

Gaiyato patted him on his shoulder, then came up to Suzuki.

"He has the same restrain prowess as me. Pretty cool, right?!"

"Mr…Gaiyato…I didn't mean to- "

"Don't worry, Franco. I would have done the same if I were in your place."

He came closer to him and whispered in his ear. "We'll have a long talk regarding your behavior…"

Franco did not respond; he was just surprised Gaiyato didn't end him right there. So he turned around and walked to the rest of the Elite Force.

"Guys…I- "

"Well, look who it is!" Yuro exclaimed. "Come on, Franco, you could have called me so we could double-team him. I mean, come on, you and I ONE PUNCH!"

"Seeing the current and former captain fight head-on was very interesting. You looked great out there." Ado said.

"Nah! I would have done WAY better if I was in your place!" Rin said and punched him on the shoulder.

"You never cease to amaze me, Franco." "Since the day we met." Adrian and Leah said.

Kate helped Makoto make it to them. Franco looked up to see the smirk on his face. "Come on, Franco. If you'll cry about it, at least give me the pleasure to see it myself." Makoto then hung onto his shoulder, and they both looked at Tedashii.

"He didn't die, so we are guilt-ridden. Just be glad about that."

Franco shed a tear, but then Makoto slapped him.

"OUCH, WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

"That's for standing still while I got penetrated through the chest! I feel a lot better now."

Clapping was heard from behind them. "Alright, you guys. It's time to get serious!" Gaiyato came by, hanging his arms around Makoto and Franco.

"So, you guys killed Tedashii. Is that correct?"

Everyone looked the other way, so Gaiyato began building up spiritas.

"GYAHH!! ALRIGHT, yes… we did…" Franco answered, and Gaiyato smiled again.

"I'll talk with Makoto and Franco later on. The rest of you guys go get your captain, then let's head back to HQ!"

And so, the others walked by to see how Tedashii was holding up. Suzuki felt tired of the countless times Tedashii needed healing, so Leah came by to help him.

"Way to go, Captain," Yuro said. Tedashii looked up at them, and he was somewhat confused.

"Wait, are you guys here to finish me off?"

They all looked at each other.

"Relax, we're here to help you up. You did well, captain." Ado said, and he held his hand out to Tedashii.

"Look. I won't feel too comfortable calling you captain for a while. Don't forget we still have a score to settle!" Rin said.

"But you're the one who gave me this whole in my-"

"FOR THE LAST TIME, THAT WAS NOT ME!!"

They all laughed, but Tedashii was still muddled. He sneezed and was instantly knocked out.

"TEDASHII!!"

They all were alerted but then laughed as he began blowing a blood bubble from his nose.

"That's gross. Is that even possible?!" Uraka asked.

"You're asking as if I'm familiar with something like this," Haruro responded. Ado saw that he was there and came by to greet him.

"Ado? I didn't know you were part of the rebel guild." Haruro said.

"Rebel guild? What do you-" He turned around and saw Rin and Yuro toss Suzuki like a doll. "…Never mind…"

"Well, I'm glad I'm not the only family member. It's good to see you, little brother."

"Uhm…Sorry to…disturb but…what…should we do…now…?" Shiyo, the captain of the Pink Vipers, asked.

"Oh, Shiyo. Well, I guess we wait for the call from the President."

"Regardless, why is he taking so long?! I hate standing while doing nothing!" Uraka exclaimed.

Gaiyato just walked past them and made the portal. So, they all went through it with relief that after eighteen years, the battle for Legon City had ended.
