Franco then smiled, but the Elite Force was worried about Tedashii. All Franco could do was cast a zone around him and end the battle.

"Wait, Tedashii! You know that won't change the outcome. You will still have to do what you did again!" Adrian told him.

"He's right! If it's a close-on combat, Franco has the advantage." Yuro said.

All Tedashii did was walk on his side of the battlefield, so Franco did the same.

("Hakuraa, what's my chance of winning?")

Do you expect to win?

("COME ON! BE IN MY SIDE FOR ONCE!")

The Zone...

("The what?")

That's the skill he might use on you.

("How do I counter it?")

Hold on to any object made of cement.

Tedashii quickly picked up a small rock and inserted it in his pocket. Leah saw what he did and smiled.

("So that's the weakness, huh?")

But don't get confident. Your objective is to reach his chest. If he notices you are through his zone, use Flash Stomp at the right time of the attack.

("Flash Stomp? If I do that, I'll be drained of spiritas.")

Trust me. Against Alto, that might be his other disadvantage.

Tedashii didn't understand why she referred to Franco as Alto, but he turned around and prepared himself. Franco also made it on his side of the battlefield and turned. Eon was in between the two ronins to ensure order during the confrontation. 

"Remember, guys, after this, the new leader will have to do team recruiting. So no hard feelings to the loser." Haruro said to them.

"Well, guess you never learn your lesson, Spike." Franco began to charge up spiritas. 

Tedashii stayed in the same position, taking his new stance: The Ken stance. Only Kate, Genti, and Suzuki recognized it, while the others were impressed.

"Looks like he's going for speed against Franco. This guy is a joke…" Rin said.

"Not saying I want him to win, but to go for a leap stance? Franco knows his ropes against speedsters." Ado added.

("Come on, Tedashii. I know you have a chance.") Adrian thought to himself. Yuro had just patted him on his shoulder. "Believe in captain…the actual one. I'm sure he will succeed."

Eon lifted his hands. "Are you guys ready?"

They both charged spiritas.

"GO!"

Tedashii leaped towards Franco, but he was also prepared.

~ZONE PROWESS: MAINTAINED CONTROL!!

BWON!

He created the zone with his left hand and began to expand it. Tedashii went right through the zone, but it came as no surprise to Franco. 

("Impressive. You already know the weakness of my zone. But I came prepared for that!")

Franco then suddenly used his right hand and created another zone.

"No way," Makoto was alerted.

"What's the matter, Kevin?" Kate asked.

"He's…planning on crushing Tedashii from in between."

As they heard that, the first zone stopped expanding. Now, it quickly began retracting.

~ZONE PROWESS: STEEL STREAM!!

ZRIPP!!

The zone in front of Tedashii turned into steel, yet he focused on his attack while keeping away from the second zone.

("Hakuraa, we're trapped in between! What do we do?!")

Break it!

("BREAK STEEL??!!)

Tedashii looked down and saw the black aura on his hand again. "Fade to black?! Alright, HERE GOES NOTHING!!"

"Wait, is he planning to break through Steel?!" Leah asked.

~HAKURAA: Fade To BLACK!!

SMASH!!

Tedashii smashed his fist onto the steel barrier, but all he achieved was fracturing his wrist. And now the second zone was closing in. Everyone kept on watching what might be a brutal murder. 

"That's that. Goodbye, you Cal-"
