1.37: An underestimation gone right.

"YOU DID IT, TEDASHII!" Kate hugged him with joy.

"MARCO!!" Suzuki said as well as he began to heal Tedashii.

Tedashii just smiled at them, but the celebration was already over, for all the bandits started to crowd around them.

"Guess you had fun, but we aren't let this slide off!"

"You took out our boss; HOW DO YOU THINK WE FEEL??!!"

"Running is for the weak. We've already outnumbered you guys! So we will finish off what the boss started!!"

Kate stood before Tedashii and Suzuki. 

"OH?! PRETTY LADY IS GOING TO STOP US??!!"

"DON'T WORRY, WE WILL ALL TAKE YOU DOWN!!"

They began to laugh while Kate stood still before them but saw that Suzuki began to tremble. 

"I don't have enough spiritas to take them all out." She said.

Then Suzuki stood before her with his fists up, showing he was ready to fight.

"OH LOOK! ITS THAT BRAT AGAIN!!"

"THIS TIME WE'LL RIP YOU TO SHREADS!!"

He shrieked and hid behind Kate. Tedashii couldn't get up, so he held onto Kate's leg, reminding her that fighting them alone was too dangerous. Then, the bandits charged at them.

"Tedashii, I'll use it!"

"No, don't! You know what happened last time!"

"WE don't have a choice!"

She reached out for her pocket and pulled out a shard, the same one that grew onto the demoniacs' heads. Her hand wouldn't stop shaking as she brought it closer to her mouth.

("Just a tiny piece, and then spit it out.)

"KATE! DON'T DO IT!!"

("Just a small…")

"KATE!!"

("BITE!!")

SLAP!!

The shard was hit out of her hand. "I told you you shouldn't do that again, Kate."

She turned around. "...Uncle Gaiyato!"

"Sorry, I'm late. Those Lieutenants are a handful."

The bandits all stopped when they recognized him.

"T-That's the Vice-captain of the Rebirth guild!"

"SCREW YOU!! ATTACK AT ONCE!!"

"CHARGE!!!"

Gaiyato took off his cloak and laid it on Kate.

"Hold on to this for me; I'll be right back. Suzuki, use a barrier, will you?"

Suzuki immediately made one and protected Tedashii and Kate.

"Huh?! Su, how do you know Uncle Gaiyato?" Tedashii asked.

 "Alright, boys! Shall we dance?" Gaiyato said as he stretched his arms.

"DON'T TAKE US TOO LIGHTLY YOU FOOL!!"

"Same goes for me… Don't underestimate me for one second."
