1.28: The She-Calamity

Neither Tedashii nor Monk knew how to react to that. They just stared at the screen senselessly.

"W…What happened to Leah?" Tedashii asked.

"She seems to experience the same thing you went through. She has reached her awakening, but now, this is a different story. She has completely lost her-"

"HEY! You know so much about all this; what do I do to get the hell out of here?!" Tedashii was now frustrated, knowing that all his friends were in trouble.

"Didn't I just tell you?! You're dead! You can't do anything!"

Tedashii then grabbed him on his furred chest! "HEY!! PUT ME DOWN!!!"

Tedashii's exhaustion was visible on his face as he grew weary of inaction. 

"You will tell me EVERYTHING you know about all this! No more leaving me away from the truth!!"

The screen began to clear again, and Tedashii immediately let go of Monk. They were still in Suzuki's point of view, but the battle had already commenced this time.

"RHYAYAAAAAAA!!!"

SLAM!!

Leah smashed another of Lanna's crystal shields.

"Tch! Why you little..!"

~LIGHT SHRINE!!

~WATER BULLETS!!

BLAST!!!

Lanna dodged the attack from Rin and Genti by jumping in mid-air, but right before she could land, caught her in Leah's sight.

"HRRRYAAAAAAA!!!"

SLAMM!!!

Lanna collided with Leah's pulverized kick; she guarded it with another shield that shattered after her fall. "Grh…"

"Mind if I join in~?" She looked at Felicia as she asked.

"I don't need your-"

"RRHHHAAAAAA!!!"

CRASHHH!!!

A home-run kick is all it took to drive Lanna right through the building. She was now being crushed by the force inflicted on Leah's foot onto the layer of rock on top of her. Lanna began gasping for air.

"Here I go~!"

KICK!!

Felicia kicked Leah on her face, pushing her off the rock. But before Lanna could push it off her, Felicia ran to stand on top of it.

"GAHH!! I'M STILL UNDER HERE YOU DAMN WRECH!!"

"Oh no~. Big-sis Lanna is in trouble against a Fushigiri. Don't you worry, I AM HERE TO SAVE YOU!" Felicia said, still standing on Lanna.

"YOU ARE NOT HELPING BY STANDING ON THIS ROCK!!"

Leah shook her head and came running towards Felicia.

"Whoa… she's fast," Felicia said.

Leah then used her speed to run in a circle around Felicia, but that was her first mistake.

"Beast Prowess: One Million Senses. Aww man. I didn't want things to end this fast; Too bad~."

~ZONE STYLE: MAINTAINED CONTROL!

The Red barrier formed around them, catching Leah's attention.

~EXPAND!

The Red barrier expanded all the way to Leah. Lanna held onto the rock that lay near her as Leah got electrocuted away.

"GYAAHHH!!" She landed on her back, but it appeared more lethal than Franco's. The aftershock traveled over her body, and she began glowing red. Holding her chest and screaming in agony was all she could do to resist the pain.

"NYAAAAAHHHH!!!"

Lanna got back up and dusted the footmark off her shirt. "Finally got off me, PANTHER Lady?!"

"Oh~!! We've finally gone up to nicknames?! Yay~! My pleasure, Landa Rowsey~!"

"Call me that again, and I will break your neck."

~CRYSTAL PROWESS: ETERNAL STAB!!

A giant crystal formed next to Lanna and fired toward Felicia. But right when it got to her face, Lanna got a cut on her cheek.

WHOOSH!!

Felicia already grabbed the crystal and sliced Lanna. She then coated it with her blood and licked it off. "MMMMM~…taste soo goood~."

Lanna just froze in place.

~LIGHT PROWESS: LIGHT SHRINE!!!

Rin attacked Felicia and Lanna, but before his attack could land, Lanna threw the crystal at him, splitting it in half upon impact with the ground.

"LEAH! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!"

He got close to her, but she kept wailing out of agony. Rin began sweating, thinking of a way to help her without making it seem too depraved.

"RIN DON'T TOUCH HER!!" Kate tried to warn him.

He picked her up from her head; then, the electrical rush flowed straight into his body.

"GAAAAA!!! IT HURRRTTTSSSS!!!"

"RHYYAAAAAAA!!!!"

They both began to scream and roll around the floor, which made Lanna a little intimidated. "...What is the matter with them? Is your attack that aching?"

"You wanna try it yourself, huh~?"

She asked as she held a more nominal barrier in her palm. Lanna knew it was perilous, but the feeling of Felicia being more powerful than her bothered her more. So she held her hand out, and Felicia just dropped the orb.

GRRRTTT!!

Lanna fell to one knee.

"See. With just a small amount of my zone, anyone can feel the rush go all the way~."

Lanna felt highly disoriented. She knew she couldn't bear it if caught in the zone. "How…can something so small…be this effective?"

"It's just my prowess, Landa Rowsey~. But enough about that, we still have some spectators." Felicia said as she pointed at Genti, Kate, and Suzuki.

("Shit! This isn't good. We have to escape somehow!")

Genti was trying his best to think of a way to escape. Then he saw one of the street signs and then looked at Rin. "That might work!"

He ran with Suzuki and Kate on his back towards the street post.

"We got a runner!" Felicia said, preparing a zone expansion once more. But Lanna then held her arm in front of her.

"He's my target. Stay out of this."

"Humph, whatever~."

~WATER PROWESS: WATER BULLET!

BAM!!

He summoned one bullet and fired it on the pole of the post. He caught it and turned towards the others.

"Well, what is he up now?" Felicia asked.

But just when Rin saw Genti, he already got the plan. So he kept running and then jumped above Rin.

~LIGHT SHRINE!!

Genti held the post on his legs like a skateboard and aimed it at Rin's blast. They were sent flying up in the sky as they came in contact.

BLAST!!

Lanna and Felicia just watched, hesitantly summoning another crystal, but Felicia held her arm out this time.

"Don't bother. He's taking the worst route possible."

Rin didn't understand what she meant by that, so he stabbed himself with one of his claws, and the zone reaction stopped.

"Whoa~. I didn't even know it worked like that?" Felicia said.

"What…did you mean they took the worst route?"

"Huh~! I thought you knew where you were sending them. Look nicely…"

Felicia pointed at him and followed up, pointing on the straight road. Rin then realized the mistake he had just made.

"Do you get it now? You sent them in the same direction you guys ran from. In other words, they will fly back to MY Mercedes."

"Damn it…"

Lanna and Felicia then came close to him and Kate.

"So much for being the hero, cat boy."

The screen screeched out.
