1.27: Elite Frustration.
The screen began to screech again.
"Oh no! Monk, is there a way to-"
"For the last time, you're dead. There is nothing you can do about it. As I told you earlier, as long as you're here, all you can do is wait and watch."
"BUT IN TEN MINUTES THAT MAN WILL-"
"THAT MAN is outside, you're inside! What Will You Do?!"
"…Tch!" Tedashii hit the floor as he was frantic to help out, yet he didn't have any way to do so. The screen began to get clear again.
"…so GUESS WHO'S BACK WITH MY SO-CALLED Partner!! How do you guys feel now that you left me back there?!"

"Left you? I had NO intentions to take you with us."
"HUH??!!"
Rin, Genti, Kate, and Leah appeared from Suzuki's point of view. They were still in hot pursuit of Lanna, who appeared to have caught up to them.
"LOOKOUT!!"
They all dodged as Rin warned them. Lanna laid another devastating crystal wave.
~LIGHT SHRINE!!
SWIINN!!!
Rin's huge light blast blew the crystal off the floor before they landed. Lanna then noticed that one of them was missing. "Where is Leah? She appears to be my main target."
"Main target? Like hell we would let you take her!"
"Your choice…" Lanna's eyes began to glow as she hovered off the ground.
~CRYSTAL PROWESS: NUMBING HEAVEN!!
WHISTLE!!

She whistled as loud as possible. Everyone began to get disrupted by their eyesight, so they covered their ears and eyes. Just as it all concluded, the whole floor was crystallized.
"DAMMIT, LEAH!!"
Genti was ready to make a jump for it.
"GENTI DON'T MOVE!!" Leah alerted him.
"HUH?! WHA-??!!"
Kate held his clothes before he took another step, then slowly pulled out her gun.
"OH, I SEE! SO YOU WANT TO FINISH OFF FROM WHERE WE LEFT OFF?!"
She frowned, then threw it in front of them. Right before it hit the ground, the crystal floor stabbed it simultaneously. It pierced through the gun and then crystallized it as well.
"See what I meant? Now we are all unarmed."
The floor began to crumble before Genti, and then Lanna appeared. "Leah, show yourself or else-"
BWINGE!!
Kate made an ice mirror before them as Rin fired light towards it. The brightness blinded Lanna long enough for Leah to hide elsewhere.
"TCH!! What a pathetic-…where did Leah go?"
Genti was afraid. He was in between a harsh and fatal moment. Should he tell her the truth or face death right before his eyes?

"Cat got your tongue? I'm pretty sure you were all talking not so long ago."
Sweat formed down to his chin, but she quickly poked it with her finger to the top of his nose before it fell. "You still don't want to tell me?"
Genti was buzzed. "I…Uhm…gulp"
"OH COME ON! ARE YOU SERIOUSLY GOING TO RAT OUT YOUR FRIEND LIKE THIS?!" Kate asked angrily.
"Well, you see…this doesn't happen to me everyday…you know-"
"SHUT UP GENTI!!" They all yelled at him.
Right before anything progressed, a shadow appeared above Lanna.
~Take it back…~

The impact destroyed the crystal on the floor, and the spell vanished. Lanna dodged the attack but got bruised on her right shoulder. "Such speed; Who dared to oppose me?"
The others were glad they could move again but keen to know who saved them. They only saw a hole in the ground until a mysterious figure appeared atop one of the buildings. A purple aura surrounded her as she stared down at them. It was Leah, but she also had a pattern on the right side of her face with a horn. She finally awakened in the same form as Tedashii but had no mental control over hers.
"Oh my. This looks like fun!"
Another person appeared in the opposite building. It was Felicia Panther, who now had her sights on facing the new Leah. "You know. I haven't fought a Fushigiri after Roshi. So let's see just how good you are!" Felicia said. But Leah didn't respond; all she did was scream at them. Lanna then joined her on top of the building.
"What brings you here, Panther girl?"
"Oh, come on. Please don't say you didn't miss me~. Big sis Lanna."
Suzuki was too tired to keep watching and decided to rest on Kate's back. The screen began to screech.
