It all came down to the showdowns. Yuro ran as fast as he could from Melvis Rodgers, dodging all the smoke spears he kept throwing at him.
"What's the matter, fire boy? Can't fight back now, huh?!"
("I have to come up with a strategy soon enough.")

Adrian managed to get a good head start from Kagutsuchi and hid near an abandoned building. He knew that Kagutsuchi couldn't melt the whole thing down, knowing that it would benefit Adrian's chance to escape.
"COME OUT, COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!"
But Adrian kept his noise level down to try and sneak out for a surprise attack.
("I'll only have one chance to attack, so I better make it count.")

Genti and Rin kept running ahead of Lanna. They bumped into Kate and Suzuki, who said nothing but followed them as they all ran ahead. After a short while, they noticed that Lanna was no longer behind them. And just then, an extensive shadow appeared above their heads.
"LOOK OUT!!"
CRSSHHTT!!!
Lanna arrived, crystallizing the floor where she landed.
"Genti! Keep everyone safe. I'm about to dance with this person!" Rin said.
"Running was a better option. You'll die now for sure."

Kuma kept attacking Litch while Litch constantly replaced his body with one of the soldiers.
"Keep this up, and they will all die, Kuma!"
"LIKE I'D CARE ONE BIT!"

Gaiyato stayed in the surveillance room with all the other members of Rebirth, Oriane, and Sir Williams Pluto.
Miku fell asleep on her bed, as Tedashii was still in the healing circle...and then his finger twitched.
