1.2: Your Roots Of Nature

Konami was afraid as these two mysterious men were standing right before her. She looked behind them and saw more people with weapons.

Her grandfather also went up to see who it was until the spotlight shined on him when he got there.

"KONAMI, GO HIDE SOMEWHERE!! TELL EVERYONE TO STAY UPSTAIRS!"

She ran to her mother, who didn't understand what was happening.

"Father-in-law, what's going-"

She went out of the kitchen to see what was the matter and saw Sawashiki getting dragged out of the house. Izanami took Konami, and they both rushed to Yuri's room. Without hesitancy, she furiously unlocked the door.

"WHAAAAHH! Mom, what's going o-?" 

"YURI CLOSE YOUR DOOR AND STAY QUIET WITH KONAMI!" Yuri stopped daydreaming.

In a panic, she and Konami hid under her bed as their mother watched from the window. Her heart couldn't stop racing as she saw how many bandits were outside. They beat Sawashiki half to death before her very eyes. Yuri didn't like being kept behind the suspense, so she rushed in to hug her mother. But when she looked out as well, her heart almost stopped.

Tedashii and Sasha made their way towards his house from the bottom of the mountain, singing his favorite song.

~Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmhmm.

"You love that song, do you?" She asked him.

"Huh, yeah. I think about the time we went to the arcade, but I I still can't forget that song."

He kept humming just before he heard the scream he would never expect to hear.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" It was Yuri who cried out so loud they heard it from there.

"What? Was that Yuri not so long ago?" Sasha asked.

"Oh no…YURI! KONAMI! MOM! IM COMING!"

Tedashii ran his heart to the top of the mountain, hoping he wasn't too late to save his family. Sasha didn't know what to do, so she returned to Meadow Town.  Sawashiki, still gasping for air, one of the bandits held him up from the front of his shirt. He seemed more prominent than the others and the most violent. He had a mop-like hairstyle and an eyepatch. He also had a toothpick in his mouth that he took from Tedashii's food.

"Alright, you old fart. If you possibly cooperated, this wouldn't have happened to you!"

He said and looked towards the other bandit sitting by one of the trees.

"May I ask what we are even doing here, Motoroshi?"

It looks like that was his name. He had white hair and red eyes, just like Tedashii. Two other bandits were standing beside him. One had glasses, and the other had a stitched face. They all looked persuasive enough to be the boss of this invasion.

"Firstly, I don't think thrashing him was necessary, Chiampa. Secondly, we were here to take the boy and the girl. And thirdly, shatter his ribs, and let's go look inside."

This was his way of speaking and numbering his answers according to what was asked. Chiampa seemed to be the name of the semi-giant.

"He-he, that's what I like about you, Kid. You're kind and cruel at the same time. A perfect way to numb the emotions!"

Chiampa hoisted Sawashiki up in the air, high enough so he could hold out his sword on his landing spot.

SWING!!

He swung it as hard as he could but noticed that nothing happened. As it catches the eye of all the bandits, they all look left as they see Giyora with his father in his arms.

"Leave this place before I kill you all!"

They all laughed as they saw the situation was still out of his favor, but they all went quiet as he had already gone for a blow at Motoroshi.

CRACK!!

The tree behind him broke after the heavy impact, yet no damage was done to him.

("What? But I was sure I hit him.") Giyora was surprised as he was sure he hit him before he felt the tree trunk.

The man with the glasses and the imperfect man ran away for safety. And just before Giyora knew it, everything went black. All he felt was Motoroshi's leg on the side of his head, leaving him unconscious.

DODGE!

Giyora managed to dodge Motoroshi's kick but felt a tremendous effect of blurry vision. Motoroshi, with some surprise, was still sitting when all of that happened.

"COME ON MOTOROSHI!"

"YOU COULD HAVE KILLED US YOU KNOW!!"

They both complained as they were delighted; they avoided his attack.

"Firstly, I had no intention of getting rid of you, Kanze. Secondly, you moved on your own, Russell. And thirdly, he could have killed you guys if I didn't react. So, thank me."

"YES, YOU'RE RIGHT. THANK YOU SO MUCH, BOSS!!"

All the bandits burst out laughing once again as all the tension returned. Kanze and Russell kept complaining, but Motoroshi then vanished. He then appeared behind Giyora.

"I got you now!!"

Giyora went for a rear shoulder swing, and the bandits all laughed. He then realized that Motoroshi was balancing on his fist. All of a sudden, a worried voice shouted from behind.

"YURI!"

The attention suddenly drew towards Tedashii, who was shocked at what he saw. His grandfather was beaten half to death on the floor; then his father was ridiculed by Motoroshi. All the bandits were silent as they waited for Motoroshi's next move.

"Dad, what's going-"

"GO INSIDE!! IT'S TOO DANGEROUS T-"

"Well, you're finally here, Tedashii."

Giyora didn't understand how Motoroshi knew him by name.

"Tedashii, do you know this man?!" Giyora asked.

"N-No, of course not! I have never seen this man before."

Tedashii was infuriated by the outcome of his stepping outside for too long.

"Listen here, Tedashii. Would you be kind enough to get your little sister? We'll be going now." Motoroshi kindly asked with his usual blunt face.

"SHUT YOUR TRAP AND EXPLAIN TO ME WHO THE HELL YOU GUYS ARE!!" Tedashii responded.

"HEY, YOU LITTLE SH*T! WATCH WHAT YOU SAY TO OUR BOSS!"

Anger stirred in the faces of the bandits at how arrogant Tedashii was to Motoroshi.

"Firstly, if you want answers to your questions, try cooperating politely. Secondly, your family members were in my way, so I'll eliminate them. And thirdly…"

~Wind Prowess: Shoshitsu Point

Motoroshi vanished before everyone's eyes right before he reappeared before Tedashii. And they knocked him out with his signature move, 'Vanishing Point,' leaving Tedashii flying toward the trees. Out of amazement, the other bandits cheered their leader on as Izanami and Yuri could only watch in fear.

"TEDASHII!!"

Giyora lost it and attacked some of the bandits.

~Wind Prowess: Raven STORM!

  He took down 15 of them with his prowess. And right before he attacked again, Chiampa slashed him on his shin.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

He fell to the ground right before Motoroshi ran and kicked him right through the house walls.

CRASH!! "ARGH!"

Yuri cried seeing Tedashii and her father being easily beaten like that. Her mother tried to comfort her, barely as she could, to keep her composure. Suddenly, she noticed their door was wide open. She ran to look under the bed, and Konami was not there anymore.

"LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE!!"

Konami approached Chiampa, which surprised everyone.

"Konami, you're here on time. Take what you need, and let's get-"

"I'M NOT GONNA LET YOU HURT MY FAMILY, YOU MONSTER!!"

Motoroshi became very annoyed.

("Different siblings, same intractability. So what are you going to do? Fight me?")

Konami then tried to imitate Tedashii's signature move. But she was merely using no prowess.

"HAKURAA!"

She swung her fists around, but Motoroshi easily dodged them. Tedashii crawled back up and saw what she was doing.

"Ko…nami! Sto…p."

He didn't have the strength to yell, so he kept crawling, holding onto his right leg.

The other bandits were laughing at her failed attempts to hit Motoroshi. She hated missing fist after fist, so she looked for a plan B. She tried to jump onto Motoroshi, but he dodged her again. She fell right to the ground, and they all laughed. Chiampa came by to try and help her up, which was her opportunity. She hit him with one of the wooden bats on the floor, then followed up with a kick to his groin. It had him down on his knee, and was at his tolerance limit.

"WHY YOU LITTLE…"

Tedashii regained his thoughts, and when he opened his eyes, what transpired before him was not believable.

WHACK!!

Chiampa used the same bat without warning and hit his mother in her stomach. All she felt was all the oxygen in her body had vanished.

"...MOM!!!!"

On impact, Izanami was flung to the wall of the house. It wasn't a heavy blow, but still severe. Motoroshi immediately charged toward Chiampa and jabbed him.

"CHIAMPA YOU FOOL! You've wasted the mission! Do you have any idea what you have just done?"

"Hey now, you saw what she did to me! I had no idea that-"

Motoroshi vigorously held him by the throat.

"Firstly, you have no right to set a finger on the mother! Secondly, we now have to deal with this problem because of you. And thirdly-"

"BIG BROTHER!! ENHANCE YOUR ENERGY!!"

All the bandits halted for a while, trying to grasp the situation. But abruptly, a black aura started to drift out of Tedashii. Everyone didn't know what was going on. The atmosphere then whirled into markings covering his face's right half.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM NOW?! EXPLAIN YOURSELF MOTOROSHI!" Chiampa was stressed in fear while Motoroshi returned to sit by his tree.

"Firstly, this will complicate our mission now. Secondly, Konami has…done something unexpected. And thirdly, you guys will need to bind him if you want to live."

He noted that as all the Bandits ran towards him and tied him up. But the more they interacted with Tedashii, the more aura flowed out. Tedashii opened his eyes, but his iris went missing until one short quote was murmured in the ears of everyone present.

~ENHANCE MY ENERGY…~

All the bandits then spread out and kept their guards up.

"THIS MUST BE A TRAP! FIND THE PERSON WHO SAID THAT."

"CAN'T WE JUST KILL THE BRATS?"

"KILL THEM AND THE BOSS WILL KILL YOU!"

They all kept saying one thing after the other, fearing one person after the other.

SNAP!!

The sound of the ropes snapping was heard as Tedashii suddenly flung himself on his own two feet. THUMB!

His heartbeat was heard. As he began to catch his breath, the aura became thicker. One bandit tried to kill him, but Izanami woke up and pushed him away. Tedashii stared him in the eyes and then…

SMASH!!

Blood spurts all over, as that bandit's face was granulated like clay. Tedashii was no longer himself. But a moment later, the spiritas was nonexistent on Konami, and she passed out beside the house. This was the one thing that drew a significant fringe between him and everyone around him. The main thing that led to those kids' death five years ago.
