1.12: The 10 Quarts assembly!

The day came that decided the outcome of all of their hard work..the assembly of all Ten Quarts! Dawn was still fresh, and they were fully recovered. Franco and his friends all woke up and prepared for the big meeting.

"So, did anyone catch some sleep?" Yuro asked them.

"Not that much, but I can cope," Rin responded.

"NOT AT ALL! WHO THE HELL SLEEPS TO STAY AWAKE DURING THE NIGHT!?!?" Adrian exclaimed.

"You know many people sleep early for a night shift. Besides, it's already dawn; this must be your first time." Ado stated.

"Not what I meant, Ado, but whatever," Adrian responded to his fact.

Franco, Makoto, and Leah didn't say anything, for they were still distorted from yesterday's conflict with Genti and Suzuki. They were worried about where they went and what they planned to do alone. Yuro came to pat them all on their backs. "If you think about it too much, it'll strain you more. So try to calm down; I'm sure they're alright."

The others also gathered around to cheer them up. But a while later, Martin came in with two guards carrying some boxes. "Alright, please tell me who is your Captain and Vice."

Makoto and Franco both walked forward.

"Glad you'll be my right-hand man, buddy," Franco said to him.

"NOT your right-hand man. Just the acting boss if you f*ck up."

"Franco Cassoule, I announce you then leader of Quarts 10. Makoto Blake, that makes you vice."

They opened the boxes that were placed in front of them. "Inside those boxes are your guild robes. You guys are going to be code-color Orange1."

They took out the captain and vice captain's robes. They were sky white, with an orange lining at each collar.

"WHOA! These look sick!" Yuro said and took out one for himself.

The sleeves were too small for his bulked arms, so he burned them off and wore them like that. The others also went to try theirs out as well. Dazai just woke up and took his with him to the restroom. Yaryura was somehow already wearing hers in her sleep. They were all set and gathered around for their guild photo. They all stood together as the photographer was giving them posing ideas.

"Alright, now say 'Quarts 10'!"

CLICK!

The photo was taken, and they all celebrated how proficient they looked. A knock was heard from outside as Gaiyato made his way in. He smiled and congratulated them for succeeding, then summoned a portal to the Headquarters. "Gaiyato Aoi. I'll be your mentor for this meeting, so if you're ready, let's go then."

They all took a deep breath and began walking into the portal. Martin went with them to keep formality. And when they went through it, they were beyond amazed.

"Well, guys, welcome to Rebirth Headquarters."

The land where F5 and Sir Williams lived. It was bursting with so much sophisticated technology, a good reason why it was the most secure land in the region. Many of the civilians stayed here, hoping their city would be saved. No relief was found on their faces, but the Elite force tried their best to keep walking forward without stopping to stare. Onwards, they followed Gaiyato to the building at the island's center.

"Whoa, talk about luck! To top it all off, they own all this?" Yuro asked.

"That's correct. All you see around here is just the reserved city where the people stay until we maybe save Legon. Eighteen years now, and still no luck…that's why they don't trust us that much anymore."

"But why don't you guys get yourselves involved too? With your help, the city would be cleaned up easily." Adrian said.

"Well, that is just what was found in our contracts. The President had the idea that all the people should see YOU guys as heroes. We're just there to keep order and peace. That's why I hate my job..."

"Did you ever consider quitting Mr. Gaiyato?" Ado asked.

"Hmm, that is a good question. Of course, I always wanted to. But my wife is the only reason I am still here with them. If I vamoose, they renege her contract too...so I don't want that for us."

They wanted to ask another question but then bumped into other mentors. "Good to see you have a full-fledged team, Gaiyato."

Gonzales Goldin, one of the members of Rebirth. He was in charge of the 2nd Quarts. He had black hair and purple eyes, with his guild uniform on.

"GG. Glad to see you too as well." Gaiyato said with a grin on his face.

"HEY, I TOLD YOU TO STOP CALLING ME GOOD GAME!!"

"..could you guys…please quiet down… I'm tired."

Someone spooked them both from behind. It was Yamato Kazuma, the mentor in charge of the 7th Quarts. He had dark green hair and white eyes. He didn't have his guild uniform but pajamas during his morning jog. Martin took charge of the 1st Quarts, with Gaiyato in charge of the 10th. One more mentor came forth. Lennox Orleans, the mentor of the 3rd Quarts. He stood out the most as a mentor for the deep scar on his face. He was also the oldest at 31 years of age and had a dye of black and white hair.

"Glad to see you all here, guys." He said.

"Lenny, glad to see you too."

"You made a bad nickname for everyone, did you?" They all said, looking at Gaiyato.

"Well~ I guess so. Martin… he's just shaded…"

"Huh, why am I-"

"HAHAHA, NICE ONE!" Gonzales laughed.

The Elite force stood there looking at all the mentors, acting like they were still youthful. They looked at them and then apologized before Gaiyato began introducing them.

"Oh, so sorry, guys, it's not often that we meet up like this. Where are my manners? These are the other 4 out of the ten mentors. I think you caught their names throughout our conversations…"

Another mentor appeared in front of them. It was the same man that walked into the room with Gaiyato. His name was Riley Cassoule, well known as "Bobby" for his brute strength on the battlefield. He was in charge of the 5th Quarts. "It's time to go in. Sir Williams Pluto will be here in a minute. All team members, please follow me, the captain, and the vice; please come in with the others."
