*Meanwhile, at the Quarts Apprehension*

 ***

Gaiyato opened a portal back to the base, but he gave Hade a hard slap on the back of his head, causing him to be sent flying to the other side. "OUCH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

Hade yelled out but was immediately terrified by Gaiyato's reaction. "NEXT TIME YOUR SUPERIOR IS ABOUT TO GET LAID, YOU BETTER WAIT UNTIL HE GOT THE JOB DONE!"

"YES GAIYATO SIR. IM SORRY~!!"

He stopped pretending to be serious and left abruptly. As he walked into the cafe area, he noticed the group of people Tedashii was with before the event ended. Gaiyato wondered how they survived but decided to remain professional and keep his personal opinions to himself.

"Alright, guys. My apologies for arriving late. I had some…family matters I had to attend…" His tone went down, but then he cleared his throat. "But that doesn't matter right now. What's to come for you guys is the final task. You will be retrieving Legon City back for us from the clutch of the deception plague. There are rooms for you guys to rest. Tomorrow, we will meet with all the other 10 quarts from all apprehensions. Unfortunately for you guys, my nep…Tedashii Katsuno…is…"

He couldn't say another word. Hade could only feel bad for him, so he tried to find a way to keep it professional. "OH, HOW GREAT MY SENSEI IS. He is so proud of you guys, he can't even find any words to"

Gaiyato bopped him on his head, then cleared his throat again. "As I said before, MY SUBORDINATE began spouting nonsense: We don't have a calamity from your Quarts. So, would anyone be willing to take Tedashii's place?"

Immediately, everyone pointed at Franco. "I think that will me, Sir."

Franco points to himself as well. But the moment he wanted to walk forward, Gaiyato noticed the blood on his shoe. Franco was alerted, so he tried to cover up.

"Oh, this on my shoe. It was while we were fighting-"

"DEMONIACS! YEAH, then he pierced it through the chest." Yuro intervened.

"Through the chest…huh..." Gaiyato finally understood what had happened to Tedashii. So he walked out of the room. Makoto and the others began scolding Franco.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU STILL WEARING A BLOODY SHOE?!" He asked.

"What do you mean, will you get me another one? This is the only pair I have." Franco replied.

"Do you want to get caught or what?! This is straight evidence!" Ado shouted.

They kept on arguing; then Hade came to ask them a few questions. "So it's you guys who killed Tedashii?"

They all turned towards him. Trying to make up another story, but the truth was inevitable.

"Wow, the one thing we tried to avoid. Look, guys, you may not know this, but that boy was the nephew of the man who just walked out of here."

They all froze in place. Franco and Makoto are the most scared since they are guilty.

"D…do you think he will do something to us?" Leah asked.

"Well, if you're lucky enough. Regardless, he isn't allowed to lay a single finger on you anyway. That's under his contract. Well then, I'll keep my mouth shut for your sake...take care."

After Hade left, everyone sat down to reflect on what had happened. Suzuki and Genti were devastated when they realized that Tedashii was killed by them while listening through the open window. Genti carried him on his back, and they both fled the area. Adrian tried to stop them, but Yuro prevented him from doing so. The other two Ronins then went by to regroup with them.

"Looks like there are then open spots for two more, hehe." one of them said. He had white hair and blue eyes and appeared to have shark fangs, just like Genti. The other was a blue-haired girl who seemed less intimidating than anyone they'd encountered. Franco knew he couldn't leave them here and accepted them.

"That's the spirit. My name is Dazai Mizuyura. I'm a water-type Ronin. Let's work well together."

"My name is Yaryura Shioki. Pleased to meet you all~."

The team finally became one, so they all returned to the rooms to rest.

Meanwhile, Gaiyato was in the main room with Martin and Hade.

"So you're saying I should just stand down while the killer of my nephew is still walking?!"

"Don't forget your contract, Gaiyato. We are not allowed to interfere with any actions the Ronins mend. If the bureau found out..."

"If the bureau found out, I'd kill them without breaking a sweat. Don't forget what happened nine years ago..."

Furiously, Gaiyato was ready to do anything if it meant putting Franco down. But then the guards walked in to announce the entrance of the governor.

"It's been a while, Gaiyato and Martin."

Sir Williams Pluto, The current governor of the central region. He was in charge of all the ins and outs of decisions made for and by the ronins. He was human himself, nor a ronin either. He appeared alien-like with long blue eyebrows and pale skin, an Aureum.

"You said that you would take me to hell? Is that what you want to do, Gaiyato? You know what would be at stake if you ever did that. Are you going to take back what you said and relinquish your murderous intent against the Cassoule boy?"

"I will take back my words, but I'm not keeping any promises about that bastard. If you have a problem, we can settle it right here."

Gaiyato set his stance Imperial1 before Sir Williams; all the guards surrounded him with weapons, preparing to put him down. Martin stood before Williams to remind Gaiyato that he would never let him do anything reckless. With a calm mind, he stood down.

"My family depends on my job, and I won't ruin this for Miku. You win this time, boss."

He left, relieving both Martin and Sir Williams, for they knew that if he dared to fight, they'd not have a chance.

"Guards, I need some time alone with Martin if you please."

"Yes, your honor!"

They all left the room, closing the door behind them. Williams sat on one of the chairs and stared at the screen. "Show me all you wanted to tell me."

"As you wish, boss." Martin began playing the footage of the battle between Franco and Tedashii. "He was the Calamity of this Quarts. I suspected him as a Fushigiri; guess I stood correct."

"Interesting. So, are you sure that he is dead?"

"Gaiyato confirmed it himself. And I doubt his wife is capable of reviving someone from the brink of death. Although, we still do have a setback."

"And what would that be, Martin?" Sir Williams was perplexed.

Images of all the members of The Elite Force were displayed. "Rin Yakuza, Ado Motsubi, Adrian Yakuza, Yuro Nakamura, Dazai Mizuyura, Yaryura Shioki, Makoto Blake, Leah Yakuza. These are all the other ronins that survived the Apprehension. Some are said to be hidden calamities, but only the V.I.P Franco has revealed his Immortal so far. What do you want us to do with them, Sir?"

Williams got up from his chair and began biting his thumbnail. It took time to think of the response until he smiled at his completed plot.

"Let them be. They are going to Legon City, after all." Sir Williams walked towards the window. "Tell me, Martin. How many years has it been since we've tried to retrieve humanity in that city?"

"It's been about eighteen years now, Sir."

"Exactly, and why do you think so?"

Martin sighed. "It's because of the two organizations that rule over that city."

Williams smiled. "One hundred percent correct. And what have you been doing for these past five years?"

"I was in charge of selecting capable ronins to try and fight them. But they either ended up joining them to survive or died trying."

"Call all the other Quarts. Tell them to select a leader from the bunch and send them to Headquarters. I will personally send them to their graves."

Williams laughed vigorously as he saw the bright outcome of the plan he had set up. He then walked towards the screen and made two unknown calls.

"Long time no see you two. I have good news. Better pick your most capable soldiers because I'm sending the plague of corpses to your side once more. HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

"Was that an order, Williams?" One of the screens spoke.

He immediately stopped. "Err, no, my apologies. I just wanted to…"

"Your head is getting too big for your shoulders. I don't even know what was so funny." The other screen spoke with a much deeper voice.

"No, please, I was just trying to set up a joyous mood-"

"You sending small fries will never make us happy!"

Williams fell to one knee and bowed his head towards the two screens. Seeing his leader bowing to others, Martin was uncomfortable, so he turned to leave the room.

"Listen, Pluto. I respect the idea of you doing your job as President. But keep in mind that if the troops you send succeed…We will be the ones to lose an ENTIRE CITY!"

"I agree with him. I am not saying we will lose, but if it comes to that, you know what will happen to you. They better put up a fight; I hate sending my five for nothing."

"Yes, I am well aware of that. But I will send you all the information on them once the meeting is over."

The two screens cut the call without another word. Sir Williams was left with a screeching Television in front of him. He stood up and smiled once again. "Oh, trust me. All I hope for is the death of these brats as well!"
