The Last Heroes: Warriors against the Sinful

An inevitable war broke out two thousand years ago in the Primal Region. Aliens, humans, and the 'special people' could not make amends. But peace was found at last the day one man stood between the three species. Later, the corrupted aliens and evil-doers devise a plan to out-smart this man. He died in the end, and the humans lost their home: Legon City, for 18 years. The 'special people' still live amongst the humans and have joined forces to retain the city! 0.49: Retribution!

A sudden scream halted their fight. Miku stood on the ground, crying her eyes out.

"…M…Miku?"

"You're being careless!"

DASH!!

Azahii took the chance to reach for his blade and ran to her. "RAGE RELEASE-"

ROOOAAARRR!!!!

~HAKURAA: BLUE DRAGON FIST!!

BOOM!!

A giant dragon devoured Azahii and detonated itself in the air. Gaiyato returned to normal and hugged Miku. "What the hell are you even doing here?"

"I saw the news…I just couldn't handle seeing you kill all these people! THIS IS NOT YOU, GAIYATO!!!"

He paused to look around the city, and all the injured or defeated villains spread everywhere. "I did all of this to protect you…"

"You don't have to tarnish your reputation for my sake. Victory or not, if you are a monster…how can I ever tell our future son that his father is a hero?"

"…. future…son?" Gaiyato could not believe what she had said. "I'm going to be…a father?" He ran and hugged her in the air. "I'M GOING TO BE A FATHER!"

They both laughed as Gaiyato shed a tear of joy on Miku's shoulder.

"Oh…and Gaiyato?"

He did not move his chin away from her head and just listened.

"Firstly, you know damn well you never slept with your wife. Secondly, even with a special vehicle, you can't make it here from where you deported her. And thirdly, you may be immortal, but YOUR weakness...is her."

"…what?" Gaiyato was so confused by the voice change and wanted to get a better look at her face. "Miku, what are you-"

~WIND PROWESS: SHOSHITSU POINT!!

BWOOSH!!

Gaiyato was hit on the blank range with Motoroshi's attack. "NOW!!"

GRAB!!

Azahii came back to retain him in a Nelson choke. "You got careless, maggot."

Gaiyato was still puzzled about what happened to Miku as the mask fell off Motoroshi's face. "Surprise, darling."

"GRAHH!! DO YOU THINK THIS WILL STOP ME?!?!" Gaiyato yelled, trying to free himself.

"No, but he will!"

At last, Seto flew up in the air as all the spiritas began to course toward him. "Mister Gaiyato…you taught me a lesson nobody could have acquainted. I heard countless times about how blessed I was to have my Paint prowess, but to see the extent of your power…I knew I was no match. However,"

BWOOSH!!

"The will of Leo Davi is simple…with power, you can achieve change; with immortality, you witness the chance…BUT WITH ART, I AM THE CHANGE!"

~ART PROWESS: RETRIBUTION!!!!!

A white light shone on his paintbrush as Gaiyato and Azahii saw a circle outlined around them. "Artists always have the choice to continue or erase artwork. So Gaiyato…on my canvas, you're a mistake!"

BOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!

...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Time froze as Seto fibbed down on the ground. No longer synced with Noriko, he lost his vision once more.

"Wake up, mortal."

A calm voice reached to him. "Uh…what?"

"Congratulations, you have been chosen to wish anything you desire in my power."

"Who are you?"

"I am the father of all time, dwelling within the star triggers. Each time an immense amount of spiritas gathers in an area, it causes the triggers to charge, and I am summoned to the person responsible for the infringe."

"I see…so what does this mean for me?"

"You are granted a wish percentage."

"Wish…percentage?"

"Yes, meaning that you can wish for anything you want. And depending on the weight of it, I will decide if you may have another one. But be very careful…for your wordplay may not be how you think of the wish. And after five failed attempts, all this spiritas will enter your system...leading to your unavoidable perishment."

Seto could not think of any other wish but to regain sight. "I wish for my vision back!"

"I see, that varies the weight of 20 percent. That is one failed attempt."

"YES! Uhm, I wish the city to return to normal!"

"I see, that brings the gauge to 40 percent. That is two failed attempts."

Seto smiled at his great fortune. "Okay, now I…" then the thought of his mother came to his mind. "MOM! I wish for my mom and friends to come back to life!"

But the father opened his eyes and looked up. "Unfortunately, that brings your gauge to 140 percent; that is three failed attempts!"

"Oh…so it won't work…DAMMIT, this is harder than I thought." He grabbed his hair, trying to do the math of what would be more critical. "What if I wish for all the people killed by the villains to be healed?"

"That alone brings the gauge to 80 percent."

"And if it's to return to before I hung myself?"

"That is a perfect 100 percent."

So, Seto had the choice between his vision and time-traveling. One option would help him with the defect he faced for ten years, whereas the other would bring him back to the time he was elated.

"I know I was not a hero this entire time…and I don't deserve to be one. But this might be the best I can do to redeem myself." He turned to the father. "I wish for all the people that got killed by the villains to be healed…and to return to before I almost hung myself!"

"Is this your final choice?"

After a short pause and a sigh, he smiled and nodded.

"I understand that you have made a wish, and I am happy to let you know it has been granted. The power of the star triggers has come through for you."
