Leave It To Carne

Fog rushed to assist everyone one he could summon legions of skeletons to crush the gods. Atrocity ripped apart everyone he'd come across and the Heroes put down their opponents. Fog looked around the battlefield, even cracking a smile briefly. His friends, no... His family was putting forth their best to show the world their true power, their courage, their creeds all on display for the world to see....

The sky seeming shattered as Polarix A was slammed into the ground by the combined Elder God. The Celestial Duo was fighting harder than they ever had to keep the God-Duo from wiping out everyone. Polarix A managed to get the God-Duo by the arm and fling them away from the battlefield. Without hesitation, he scooped up everyone.

"Wormhole Teleportation!" cast the Celestial Duo as they all vanished and reappeared within Wilderplains. As he began descending, the God-Duo fired pure destructive energy at Polarix A, who warped his friends and family to the ground.

"Enough of this pathetic game." Said Cretagate. The God-Duo stabbed Polarix A through the ribcage with a god-artifact. The Celestial-Duo crashed to the ground just outside Wilderplains. Everyone else who'd been teleported watched as Guardians and Skeletons rushed forwards only to be wiped out instantly. Cretagate marched into the city and began slaughtering everyone. Powerdrive and Arris were the first to go. Veldspar and Gauss followed suit. Proxima and Methuselah had their celestial bodies crushed into stardust.

Elder Prime and Fog watched as this god went on a rampage. Atrocity managed to dodge several attacks while trying to get Daytona and White Phosphorous to safety. KBar and the Knights rallied and rushed towards the God only for Cretagate to trample them under foot. Signis was ripped apart leaving just stardust to fall to the ground. "Ah, the sweet smell of a dead Celestial... How marvelous." Grinned Cretagate.

Polarix rushed back at Cretagate, cosmic talons ripping through the god's flesh, eyes burning a deep, crimson red. The god toss him backwards only for the other Elder Gods to jump in and attack the Celestial. Polarix tried to break free but Cretagate ripped apart the celestial armor and ripped chunks of flesh off of the Celestial Duo, laughing with a grin that would shame even the most sinister of smiles.

Polarix let out a deafening scream of pain, then bit into his own lip hard enough draw blood. Polarix threw the Elder Gods off of himself, eyes shaking full of rage. The swirling stardust and black hole mist were reaching to the anger with duo. Using every ounce of strength, the celestial ripped limbs, head and chunks of flesh from the other Elder Gods. He was like a wild animal, consumed by his own instinct to survive, no matter the cost. Despite the vast amount of wounds, and the blood pouring out of the duo, the combined celestials were running on pure norad-adrenaline.

Polarix growled and locked his eyes onto Cretagate and bolted towards him. However, the god-duo grinned. "But like all animals.... They can't see the bigger picture." Cretagate fired god-tier energy at them launching them away from the battlefield and sending them careening into the ground.

"This... This is extinction..." uttered Fog as he watched helplessly." The god-duo was hunting down each of them and killing them in a very personal way. Meanwhile, Polaris and Phoenix A had split apart. "Get UP! THEY NEED US!" Yelled Polaris clutching his bleeding rib cage. He was bleeding all over, but he was mainly the brains of the combination celestial. Phoenix A on the other hand.... He was the brawn, using his physical strength as Polaris guided him to.

"I-I can't move Polaris...go... Stop them." said Phoenix A weakly.

Polaris growled and pulled his strength to himself as he picked up Phoenix. He warped Phoenix over to Fog and Elder Prime. Polaris' body wasn't up for another fight, but this was do or die, no other choice. He winced as he tightened down his arm guard straps, then fired himself at Cretagate knocking the god-duo down.

"Look at that Crete... Polaris still stands in defiance of our will." Called out the voice of Stagnate. Polaris shattered the god-artifact weapon, then punched the gods apart. However, Stagnate plunged his fist through Polaris' left shoulder. Polaris yelled through the pain, ripping a hole through Stagnate's right side. The two went at it, fist for fist, spilling volumes of blood that was unmatched by any battle they'd ever fought in. Crete jumped at Polaris as Stagnate fell backwards. Polaris dodged him, and wrapped his arms around him, carrying him into the sky. Once he was high enough, he spoke to Crete. "Deity... face the actions of your consequences....." As he finished speaking, he yelled with all his might, his flames burned hotter and brighter than ever before. He thought to himself a moment. "... I must go past every limit.... I MUST WIN!" With a yell of defiance, he screamed.... "CME HYPERNOVA!"

In a blinding flash of overpowering solar powered light, Crete was incinerated, body and soul both reduce to nothing, not even ash was left of him. Once the light had returned to normal, Stagnate looked up to see Polaris hovering above him, blood spilling from almost every part of his boy.

"Well now! It seems you've run out of power! Don't mind me though hero... I THINK I'LL JUST KILL OLE FOG HERE!" Stagnate ripped part of Fog's eye socket bone out and shattered several ribs. Elder Prime ripped into the dark god, but it little effect. Polaris, however, tackled Stagnate through several building finally stopping at the Monument of the Heroes of Wilderness.

"You fought well, but you could never kill....." Stagnate was interrupted by Phoenix A, who roundhoused him. "I-I don't have much strength left, but we'll go down swinging together."

Stagnate yelled and spikes of death ripped through the soil punching holes through the two celestials, and killing plenty more citizens of Wilderplains. Polaris ripped himself off the spike and managed to punch Stagnate so hard, several of the god's teeth shattered and turned into dust. Polaris' vision went blurry as he crumpled to the ground.

"N-...no... I must....win...."

Stagnate marched over to curb stop the here when....."STOP!" rang out a voice above them.

Stagnate grinned as Fog ripped off his cape and marched towards the God of the Undead. Fog looked to Elder Prime and Atrocity walking besides him.

"So, have you come to make a deal Fog?"

"No.... GOD OF REINCARNATION! I HEREBY INVOKE OUR DEAL!" Yelled Fog breaking apart one of his ribs that was glowing golden.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Yelled Stagnate.

Suddenly, golden bubbles began covered those who'd died and the two wounded celestials. A man with golden hair appeared before Fog. "If you do this... You will not be able to follow where they go."

"That is....."

"FOG! DON'T DO THIS! I CAN STILL WIN!" Cried out Polaris, desperately trying to reach his former butler, his friend, his family...

"Polaris... You deserve a life far better than this world can offer! Go... Live that life... if not for you... then do it for me."

As Polaris, Phoenix A, and the other heroes vanished into golden bubbles, Fog, Elder Prime, and Atrocity all stepped up to Stagnate.

"I wonder if the blood of gods tastes just like the ambrosia they give to their followers." Said Atrocity licking his lips as his eyes went a deep crimson red. Elder Prime went into his combat form, all four hands glowing a deep orange. Fog equipt his sword and shield and pointed the blade god of the undead.

"You and every other pathetic deity shall learn your fucking place. Either by compliance or by boot heel submission. The Age of Gods and Heroes is over, and we three shall rebuild the new era into our own image, one without deity to fuck it all up." Fog's eyes were filled with something that frightened Stagnate to his very core.... Anti-Heroic Courage.

"Run, run as if your life depends on it." Grinned Fog as he and the other two chased after the scrambling God of the Undead.
