Onyx was raised as a human and unaware of the truth of his identity. He started experiencing bizarre complications when a werewolf approaches him, his mate. CHAPTER 38

　　The shocking moment made me stand still on my feet, regardless how I felt the ground slipped beneath my feet. The chanting of the crowd was getting louder and louder, and it echoed around the deepest corner of the territory.

　　It was thrilling and terrifying at the same time. My nerves went numb and I couldn't think straight. I turned my head to Jacob, who was smiling at me with pride dripping on his face.

　　“Why? Why me?” I asked in a low tone.

　　“Because you are the only deserving person here. Your intelligence and leadership lead the crowd to choose you as their leader. Congratulations!” he complemented me.

　　I shook my head in disbelief and replied, "I can't take this position. It’s yours, Jacob! You are meant to rule this pack, not me. Besides this, I don't even know how to handle an alpha’s duty so it will be a disaster making me an alpha.” I explained to him.
