"Take my hand," Kayla said, offering her hand to Siena.
The carriage had long stopped, but Siena did not get out. It would be trouble if Travis were to come out and see her still sitting there.
Siena snapped out of her thoughts and looked around to finally notice she was back home. "I'm sorry. I was thinking about something," she answered, taking Kayla's hand to step out of the carriage.
"Is it about Rafael? I wish you had more time with him. After some thought and listening to the women around us speak of him, I realised how exhausting it must be to be approached by countless young women wanting to court him. It is like how angry I used to get when you were bothered by so many young men," Kayla said.
Kayla thought that Siena was so understanding of not getting to speak with Rafael much since she had been in his shoes, dismissing people because she was tired of being courted by people she didn't like.
