Episode 3&4

The soft tune of the machine beeped,the girl inhaled deeply, squinting her eyes as a result of the light.

" Oh she's awake"

" Quick close the curtain"

The girl could hear whispers,which soon stopped with a frown she opened her eyes,her peach blossoms eyes staring at the ceiling,then unconsciously landed at the pair of eyes stared at her.

" Who were they"

She looked flustered but when she saw queen Maya coming inside the room with a lunch box she relaxed

" Mom,she hasn't talked since she wakes up"

James asked curiously,she heard and her eyes landed at him making his heart skip a bit.

Queen mara pressed her lips into thin lines,the girls eyes were lifeless and stared blankly at them.

" Sign,poor child she must have suffered a lot"

" Dear will you like to eat"

Queen Maya asked her gently,the girl looked at the lunch box with bright eyes and they knew she was hungry,but she suddenly glared at them with weariness .

"She Shaked her head,with a frown on her beautiful face but her eyes still shifted to the lunch box.

Queen Maya signed and walked up to the bed sitting beside her and she move back a little,her stances filled with alert.

Dishing out the food,she placed it in front of her and signaled with her hand,the two brothers stared at their mother in disbelief.

"Wait what is she doing "

James asked curiously

" Is she dumb"

Kelvin thought looking at the girl with pity.

" Come on dear,eat the food"

Queen Maya made the hand gestures and watched as the girl scoot closer and took the plate of food and spoon,still looking at her,but queen Maya returned it with a smile.

The girl looked down at the food,then took the spoon to scoop a bite and suddenly frozed, kelvin asked worriedly.

" Hey,splite it out if it isn't good"

" Dear"

But there was soon silenced as they saw her wolfed down the food hungrily,the lunch box soon became empty and stared in disbelief.

She was patting her stomach with a smile, licking her fingers,she hadn't had a good food to eat since a while.

Queen Maya stared satisfied and James helped her cleared the dish.

" Dear what's your name"

The girl looked at her , blinking her eyes,then made a hand gesture.

" Mom ,I think she need a pen and book"

" No need let her you my phone"

Queen Maya replied, opening her phone, tapping on the notepad app and passed it towards her.

"So dear, what is your name"

" Rita"

She typed fast,like a pro and kelvin and the rest were stunned

" Did she just....

Rita noticed their quiteness then typed again

" Is something wrong my queen"

"Ha nothing.....dear,just surprised you could read and write"

Rita smiled sadly.

" I could only read and write , thanks to our neighbors son,whose father happens to own a libary"

" Wow, that so cruel.....

James spoke when he read what she typed,and kelvin glared at him.

" So did you go to school"

" No,I didn't"

Rita hand trembled slightly but she still typed.

" I had to work partime jobs starting at the age of six,so I never got the chance to study"

There was stiff silence.

" A six years old child, doing part-time jobs,that was wickedness"

Queen Maya caress Rita hair,she tensed up but soon relaxed.

"Dear,would you like to become my daughter and pick yourself up again"

Rita flinched,then stared at the duos in shock but they just smiled at her.

Beep

The door opened as the password was typed in,Enzo entered and closed the door with a bang.

He threw his jacket on the chair,and made for his bar, grabbing a red wine and pouring himself a drink.

He walked back and sat down, looking through the glass wall,he could hear the waves of the seas.

He built the house besides the sea in honor of his mother,she used to love swimming and having fun on beach,taking the three year old him along.

He smiled as he remembered the memories,then with a gulp finished the red wine which choke him slightly his eyes red.

Taking out his phone,he opened the gallery and scroll through then tap and his mother picture emerged on the screen.

" Mom,why did you have to leave,if it wasn't for them we would have to come here during my 19th birthday"

" I miss you mom,why did you have to go,you should have taken me with you,seeing those people irritating faces who are happy with their lives,while I live in nightmares"

" You shouldn't have fallen for a bastard like him,he never deserve you"

He poured out all his grievances the alcohol adding to his aggression,his eyes blurred as tears slide down his cheeks falling on the screen.

He looked at the picture of his mother happy smile,and laughed.

" Now look at him,he lost his loved ones,while those people lived happily"

He suddenly smirked viciously.

" He was going to make their lives miserable "

Looking at the glass wall again ,he stood, feeling dizzy and with a curse made for the masters bedroom and the living room became quite expect for the faint smell of wine and the waves of the sea.

________CRESCENT PALACE _____

Rita looked at the building in shock,it was big and beautiful,she was so obsessed with her surroundings that she didn't notice the duos staring at her.

"Henceforth,you will always be happy Rita"

" I will protect you with all I have"

" Welcome to the family Rita "

The limousine drove into the yards,and the guards opened the door for them,and soon as Rita was carried out of the car by kelvin she was stunned.

Waiting outside were rolls of guards and servants including king Blake and Angela who were waiting for them.

" Welcome back your highness "

" Hmmmm"

Rita struggled in kelvin arms trying to come down but he didn't burged she looked at him confused then looked back at the king frightened then buried her face into his chest.

Kelvin smiled at her reaction and king Blake walked towards them,and stopped two steps away.

" Welcome to the family Rita,my princess"

Rita frozed and raised her head to see the king staring at her with a complicated gaze.

" Welcome home princess"

" Welcome home little sister,I won't be bored anymore now"

Angela chipped in and Rita looked stunned.

" What was going on..... someone pinch her this was a dream,right...was she now a Cinderella or something"

Queen maya noticed her hesitation and held her cold hand in hers.

" Rita my dear,your one of us now, nobody will bully you anymore,you will rise up, shinning like a star my princess"

She said emotionally and everyone watched as tears slide down Rita's cheeks,she struggled and kelvin finally put her down,her next action took everyone off guard.

She hugged queen Maya tightly crying both consoling their selves and everyone looked at them with emotions,one would think they were mother and daughter who got separated.

King Blake looked at Rita's paled and fragile figure and vowed with determination that he was going to groom her to a better person and protect her.
