"How is she with everything?" Renee asked, wanting more insight into how Hazel dealt with the news about Grant.
"She is doing better. She doesn't try to think about it too much. It is better that way," Tobias answered, keeping Hazel's suicidal thoughts to himself. He would leave it to her to be the one to share it.
"I see. We still cannot believe that Grant went so far as to get Linda on the throne. We are quite close to the Hensons so they would have been the last people we suspected. Since Hazel doesn't want to speak about it, I shall not bring it up," Renee decided, not wanting to open old wounds.
Nathan patted Tobias on his back. "Well done. You deserve to hear those words for all that you've done. News of the men you got out of the palace reached us. It was long overdue that they lost their positions."
