The king's Desire

She was like the Phoenix burning brightly in his darkness and illuminating his entire being. He was a coward and his darkness threatened to swallow him. She was his only redemption. "The Phoenix and the Dragon shall meet and they together shall wipe the darkness that surrounds this kingdom" the old priest told the Old King about the prophecy as he stared intently at the Queen who sat beside the King. Sonia was the illegitimate daughter of Count Raymond who was exiled to the countryside with her mother. When her mother dies, she is sent back to live with her father,the Count. There she happens to make an acquaintance with a mysterious man and becomes penpal with him. The second time she meets this man was when she escaped from her father's mansion after finding out the hidden motive for bringing her back. Sonia was happy to meet her penpal friend again and stayed with him. what will happen when that man's past catches up with him, will she stay and help him deal with his troubles? or will she go away? King Emric ran away from the prison called a palace. He runs to redwood village and meets his old acquaintance and together they set up a small business and were happy with there lives but trouble comes knocking on their door as his stepmother threatens his new found joy. will he back away cowardly? or will he challenge the Queen and battle her to death? Who knows?

The Incident

" Erica come and meet your elder sister" The Countess looked back and said to her daughter.

Erica stared at Sonia with a strong sense of dislike and hatred, she had hated this illegitimate daughter of her father. She had to share the daughter' s seat with this b* tch.

' Well she will be replacing me to marry that horrible and bloodthirsty King ' Erica said in her mind.

Sonia looked at Erica as she came to greet her and felt like Erica hated and disliked her. Sonia decided to ignore her as long as she doesn't scheme against her.

After everyone has greeted and meet Sonia, they all went inside to to have dinner.Meanwhile the family of three waited for Sonia to dress up as she had been on the road without a proper bath, when suddenly the butler who stood at the side gasped and muttered to himself" so beautiful like an angel" .Erica gave the feeling of a female ruler that was unconquarable and was so high above that no one could ever reach, she was so unrealistically beautiful that women do not dare to compare to her or compete with her for anything and men do not dare to pursue her for fear of mockery. It was a common knowledge that she was reserved for men on high places while Sonia gave the feeling of an angel and everyone's best friend with her long platinum blonde hair and her emerald green eyes, a characteristics of the Count Raymond family, her beauty was so special and it immediately drew attention of the Count and his family.

The Count and the Countess was shocked not expecting Sonia to be this beautiful while Erica shrugged her shoulders and calmly drank and tea because she knew that in the game of looks, she had still won. Sonia was beautiful but she could not compare to Erica's unrealistic beauty, Erica had long passed the boundary of human beauty and was a Goddess.

Sonia glanced at Erica and saw her smug expression and laughed it off in her mind. Sonia calmly lift up her dress and wanted to sit down close to Erica when Erica tried to trip her and instantly regretted it as Sonia used her shoe to stamp hard on Erica's foot, Erica let out a cry and seem to be in lot of pain.

" Erica dear, what is wrong with you. Have you forgotten your table manners. can't you see your father and sister in front of you" the Countess scolded Erica. She laid emphasis on the 'sister' as if warning Erica to not lose her manners in front of her 'countryside' sister.
