The king's Desire

She was like the Phoenix burning brightly in his darkness and illuminating his entire being. He was a coward and his darkness threatened to swallow him. She was his only redemption. "The Phoenix and the Dragon shall meet and they together shall wipe the darkness that surrounds this kingdom" the old priest told the Old King about the prophecy as he stared intently at the Queen who sat beside the King. Sonia was the illegitimate daughter of Count Raymond who was exiled to the countryside with her mother. When her mother dies, she is sent back to live with her father,the Count. There she happens to make an acquaintance with a mysterious man and becomes penpal with him. The second time she meets this man was when she escaped from her father's mansion after finding out the hidden motive for bringing her back. Sonia was happy to meet her penpal friend again and stayed with him. what will happen when that man's past catches up with him, will she stay and help him deal with his troubles? or will she go away? King Emric ran away from the prison called a palace. He runs to redwood village and meets his old acquaintance and together they set up a small business and were happy with there lives but trouble comes knocking on their door as his stepmother threatens his new found joy. will he back away cowardly? or will he challenge the Queen and battle her to death? Who knows?

Sonia's Father

Sonia stood before the tombstone, the tombstone was her mom's. Sonia had been at the cemetery the whole evening. Her mother just passed away and the villagers hurriedly helped her in burying her mother due to lack of funds to do the burial ceremony. Sonia realized that she was alone and had to depend on herself for survival in this world.

" Miss Sonia, look who is here to see you " the village head said to her. Sonia turned to see who was it that made the village head come personally to see her because he was known to be a prideful person. All she saw a man dressed in luxurious attire meant for first class servants of Noble homes.

" Miss Sonia, I am Frederic, the butler of the Count Raymond House. Count Raymond your father sent me here to pick you up" He said to her.

" Go back and tell Count Raymond, I won't be going back,he won't see me. He can treat this daughter of his that she never existed" Sonia hissed at him. Sonia was really angry with her so called father , he came to get her like she was an object without any feelings.She wasn't going to follow him to meet her father. Sonia was naturally stubborn and strong- willed, she will never give in if forced. Butler Frederic said nothing and went down the hill quietly. Sonia was dumbstruck at his reaction.

' what the hell, is he just going with what I said? won't he get punished if he comes back without me. I must be very careful when I am going back, this man is very suspicious'

Sonia packed up and went down the hill to her home. On reaching the door of her house, she felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck and her vision darkens.

In the middle of the night, Sonia woke up with a throbbing pain on her head and was surprised at her surroundings. She couldn't believe it !!!she was actually on a moving carriage going to no man knows where and as a wise woman as she is, she screamed and woke up the people that abducted her.

Sonia woke up with a throbbing pain on her head and was surprised at her surroundings. She calmly looked around her to check if everyone was sleeping and quietly took out the dagger she had hidden in her worn out skirt and quickly untied herself. Then she vanished into the night.

The next morning, Butler Frederic woke with a smile on his face and went to check up on Sonia when sooner than later the smile was wiped off his face. This lady had actually escaped from his hands, butler Frederic felt a hit to his heart and fainted.
