The king's Desire

She was like the Phoenix burning brightly in his darkness and illuminating his entire being. He was a coward and his darkness threatened to swallow him. She was his only redemption. "The Phoenix and the Dragon shall meet and they together shall wipe the darkness that surrounds this kingdom" the old priest told the Old King about the prophecy as he stared intently at the Queen who sat beside the King. Sonia was the illegitimate daughter of Count Raymond who was exiled to the countryside with her mother. When her mother dies, she is sent back to live with her father,the Count. There she happens to make an acquaintance with a mysterious man and becomes penpal with him. The second time she meets this man was when she escaped from her father's mansion after finding out the hidden motive for bringing her back. Sonia was happy to meet her penpal friend again and stayed with him. what will happen when that man's past catches up with him, will she stay and help him deal with his troubles? or will she go away? King Emric ran away from the prison called a palace. He runs to redwood village and meets his old acquaintance and together they set up a small business and were happy with there lives but trouble comes knocking on their door as his stepmother threatens his new found joy. will he back away cowardly? or will he challenge the Queen and battle her to death? Who knows?

At Nigel's Breakfast Stall

" My surname is Emric and my name is Steve, Steve Emric" Steve said to her.

After taking their dosage of pills for the day, Steve and Sonia went back to bed and slept soundly till the next morning.

Sonia woke up early in the morning and sat down on a chair enjoying the cool early morning breeze.

" oh hey, you are awake" Steve stared at her with a charming smile on his face. He walked up to her and sat down beside her.

" Good morning, Miss Sonia, how was your sleep last night" He asked her

" It was fine and yours" She replied back to him.

" Mine was fine too"

" Are you in for a morning stroll and we can take our breakfast while at it" Steve asked Sonia

" I am in " she replied back

" Go and freshen up and I will see to it that the old man allows us to go out"

Steve stood up and went to meet Dr Palsy for permission to go out while Sonia went to freshen up. From where she was, she could hear Dr Palsy loud and angry rebukes and Steve loud laughter. Sonia chuckled feeling amused about Dr Palsy and Steve interactions.

" c'mon old man, it just a small walk to the marketplace. you know I have never gone out of my home since I was little, just this once" Steve tried to persuade the old man to allow them to go out to the marketplace.

"Mr Palsy, you look good" Sonia said while flashing him a cute smile which seems to work on men alot and sure enough, Dr Palsy allowed them to go out after seeing Sonia's smile.

" You must come back here before 12pm to take your pills.Wait take this pills before going out when you find a breakfast stall, make sure to take your breakfast and don't stress yourself too much and make sure to come back on time" Dr Palsy reminded them and watched them leave with a mysterious look on his face.

Steve and Sonia dressed in peasant clothes walked the streets of Alvania marketplace. Sonia was shocked by the many strange things she saw. This was her first time in the marketplace and her adventurous spirit was awoken while Steve on the other hand was secretly shocked and at how destitute the capital market had become. While one of them thought the capital was awesome, the other thought it was lacking.
