The Killing at District 12

There were mysterious murders taking place at District 12 every last weekend of the month and the serial killer was at large. "Our killer was not just deliberately peeling of the face of his victims. He was also eviscerating their body and purging out their organs, particularly their hearts. It was like the killer wanted to remove everything that made one human." Two people who used to be high school friends and also shared a painful past; both lost a loved one on an incident that happened six years ago decided to join hands to solve this mystery. One was retired a forensic anthropologist who turned a new leaf and chose to become a professor at a medical school While the other was a former law enforcement officer who had decided to be into seminary and was just a step away from becoming an officially ordained priest Will they be able to identify the notorious killer that lurked the shadows of their district??? THE AMORCELLI SIBLINGS

"There you are, come here!"

Santina's voice was like a waking call that pulled Mikael's soul back at the present time.

When he looked at the source of the voice, he saw that Santina was with her other siblings.

She stood almost a head smaller than her other brothers and sisters which made her stand out as she was the only one who did not share the good height.

At the same time, Santina also did not look like any of her siblings. It was as though they shared a different gene compared to her. While others had tawny skin and unusual height, Santina had fair skin. She was once told that it was because she took after their late grandmother who was actually half Spanish.

Santina may not share the same physical features as her other family members, but what they all have in common was their character.

Each of them had the same genuine warmth and graciousness. They all have the same keen intelligence and those were just some of the collective resemblances that Mikael could observe from Santina and her family.

However, that night, contrary to the usual air of merriment present in the family, they were gathered instead around the entertainment center of the living room.

Other than Santina, the first person that Mikael managed to recognized was Andrew. He was a year younger than Santina and he was the one who was responsible for overseeing the computer store chain of the family.

The woman on her right had his back on him so Mikael was not able to say for sure who she was but judging from the baby she was carrying in her, she was most likely to be Andrew's wife, Selene.

"Hi there, Mikael. I heard you are about to become a priest. Congratulations."

Sam, one of Santina's older brother greeted him as soon as the other party saw him. Sam actually had a twin brother named Dean. The two may appear casual and lax on the surface but they were actually MIT graduates and they were both computer engineers.

What was fascinating about Santina's twin brother was that they were both married to a pair of sisters who were also twins just like them.

Harold, on the other hand, was not present that night.

The other party was the eldest as well as the one who oversees the family's properties. He was probably busy attending important business that was why he was not able to make it to his sister's birthday.

But while the eldest son was away, the eldest young miss of the Amorcelli household, on the other hand, was present.

Vicky was the one who singlehandedly handle the investor relations of the family and just like Santina, she was not married yet.

However, unlike Santina who no longer engaged herself in any romantic relationship with a guy ever since her fiancee's death, Vicky was different.

Due to the nature of her work, Vicky often got to know a lot of people from all over the places. Which in return exposed her to networks of connection and fine bachelors at the same time

She was quirky, funny, and startlingly intelligent and so that was why it was no wonder that many guys were smitten to her in general. She was the feminine version of a nation's husband.

She had been into a lot of relationships before. In fact, her family members had already lost count of how many guys she had been in a relationship with.

But whenever the topic of marriage was being brought up to discussion, she would always straight up reply to them that the thought of tying the knots was still out of her priorities.
