Chapter 35- Angel and Demon

A shadow started to appear in the mist created by the dark crystals. Glowing red eyes started to gaze at the surrounding and then, the mist faded. A man with white complexion and red eyes was standing in front of them. He was wearing a butler suit and thin framed glasses. One could hardly tell that he was a demon. His horns were almost hidden in his thick hair but his aura was still leaking out. It was filled with darkness and bloodlust like Kazuki's but was inferior.

He knelt and said, "Me liege, I swear to serve you for all eternity."

Kazuki just nodded but was thinking 'Really? I'm a mere mortal and can't live eternally.'

He named the demon Azazel. Soon, the white mist started to take form. Though it took longer to form than the black mist, it's power was no inferior.

A pillar if light appeared from the sky extending up to 500 meters above. The ground cracked and the light faded. as they looked at the altar, they saw an armored angel with four wings standing there. He was wearing a gold and white armor covering his entire body. No one could see his face except for his glowing gold eyes. His aura was the complete opposite of Azazel's it was pure, loyal, and filled with justice. He stroke his sword on the ground and knelt. "I offer you this sword my lord. I swear to protect you forever" he said in a sincere tone.

Then, Kazuki asked for his name but he replied, "Why don't you check our status?"

He was confused by the angel's answer. As far as he knows, you need a magic mirror to check someone's status. Azazel saw his troubled face and said "You can check our status if you fill your eyes with mana my liege."

He did what Azazel told him and he saw it.

He was stunned when he saw the job. He can't believe the first familiar he summoned was a demon lord. He filled his eyes again with mana and stared at the angel.

[Class: Fighter/Mage/Vanguard]

[Affinity: Light, Lightning, Dark, Nature, Null]

[MP: Error]

He almost fainted when he saw the angel's status. Azrael was a little more powerful than Azazel. He turned around and saw both his familiars kneeling. He said "Don't act to formal. I hate formalities."

Azazel then stood up and said with a mocking tone, "Oh so the angel of death is here."

Azrael looked back and replied "Oh an angel fallen from grace is here." Those words almost shattered Azazel's heart. It was the worst insult he could get. His body bursts into flames and he took out a spear emitting dark aura. Azrael also aimed his sword which was filled with light magic at Azazel.

The surrounding paladins ran away in fear. Though they are known for being brave, they sense great danger coming from the two that none of them could stop. The white dragon and Pegasus remained to see what action will Kazuki take to stop the fight.
