Broken soul

Alexander The God of absolute dark powers pov

"You guys are sick. All of you." Ace roared, making blood coat the floor with every word he spoke. My eyes got hooded as I looked at the mess he was creating on my pristinely polished floor.

"How many times do you plan on erasing her memories?" He bit out to Alax who seemed to be the only one truly giving his words any thought.

"Clean this mess up." I ordered a subordinate who was standing by. They were quick to get to work. They didn't even give Ace a glance. He was a nobody in my Domain.

"Oh she'll remember this." Alaxs promise had Ace paling. Every God in this school was warned and Ace didn't seem to take my warning to heart.

"You are sick. All of you. What, do you plan on framing every God that gives her the time of day." Ace chuckled. His blood shot eyes and bruised face seemed like it was not enough.

Aries thought the same thing it seemed. "You just won't shut up." He grumbled as he threw Ace against the wall causing it to crack.

That seemed to do the trick. Ace slowly slide down the wall, no longer talking. His blood followed as it left a trail along the way.

"How long will she be out for?" Blakes serious tone reminded me, I had things to prepare for.

"We have enough time to get everything done." I sighed as I looked down at the book that she stole from the restricted library. The book I should be able to read but like always my wife made things difficult for me.

"It's like she planned everything. Every time I think I have everything I could ever dream of I find out she's hiding power and realms from me." I snapped as I slammed the book shut that should've been mine.

"I doubt she planned on you stabbing her in the back." Blakes comment had me sighing. The venom and hurt in his voice was nothing new. We use to be close that is until I betrayed his mother.

"It's been almost 20 years." Aries groaned what we were all thinking. 20 years and he still couldn't let it go.

"Let's just hope I never get in your way. Wouldn't want to take a dagger to the heart." Blake wryly stated. It took everything in me not to throw him against a wall. I had to remember they were close.

"You know what, I'm going to go watch over Ariella. Wouldn't want her to get stabbed next." The obvious insult to injury was there but to bad for him I didn't take it to heart. I had no regrets.

"I think it's time you put that boy in his place." Aries said as soon as Blake left out. I had been trying to be patient and allow him to grieve but now I expected his grudge to go away and for him to be back to normal again.

"Their souls were connected. You can't put him in his place when you broke a piece of him." Mias rude remark was a daily reminder of my wife. She had her attitude, luckily she took my need for power instead of my wife's need to save the universe. I didn't need two head aches especially when Blake reminded me daily that he loved his mom and that she was coming around. If only he truly knew.

"It should be fixing itself. Just give him time." Zavier said as he looked through the notes Ariella wrote. No amount of magic revealed the true words and if it wasn't for her speaking them I would've assumed it was a normal book.

"Don't go stabbing anyone this time around Dad." Mias remark had me narrowing my eyes at her. She was quick to act busy. I didn't mind sealing her in her room to think for awhile.

"You won't get away with this. Klaus knows." Aces hoarse voice was a reminder that we had company. I looked over to Ace who was leaning up against the wall. He looked to be struggling to breath.

"Klaus can't do anything." Aries gritt out. Aries hated Klaus. Klaus and my wife took out atleast half of his army if not more.

"You don't think she had a contingency plan? She was the most powerful Goddess in the universe and the only reason she failed was because her soul latched on to the means of you." Ace snapped.

"Is that so? If I recall it was her who came to me first. Not her soul." I said hoping to push a button or two because this was definitely not Ace.

"That was to save the universe. If you think you won you are wrong. She purposely let you kill her." Ace snapped before going wide eyed and closing his mouth.

"I'm guessing this book has something to do with it? She was scared her soul would aim to please me." I absentmindedly predicted.

With her you would never know until everything was laid out in front of you. The pieces to the puzzle had to be completely put together in order to see things through her eyes.

"She was always a book of mystery. That's why keeping her alive was impossible. Now if her soul would've stayed in control things would've been different." I said as I looked at the small locket I kept on me at all times.

Blake's soul wasn't the only one weeping and needing to be put back together again. That's why this time around I would leave no loose ends and make no mistakes. Starting with Klauss good old friend.

"Aries if you would." I gestured to the impersonator that was posing as Ace. Ace was a trusted Ally.

"Mia see if Ace is still Alive. All I need is a read on his soul." I ordered her as I looked at the locket one more time before closing it and putting it away.
