One week later.
The school day at First high came to an end and Tatsuya was arranging his bag to return home. Mizuki and Erika were discussing about going till the station together, while Leo was also getting up from his seat. That was when
-ATTENTION FELLOW STUDENTS.
An announcement came from the speakers. But everyone realized that the ones speaking aren't those who are supposed to be speaking.
-WE ARE THE COALITION SEEKING TO ABOLISH THE DISCRIMINATION WITHIN THE SCHOOL.
-WE DEAMAND TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE STUDENT COUNCIL FOR EQUAL STANDING FOR ALL STUDENTS.
the entire classroom began the murmuring what's going on, while Tatsuya remembered his conversation with his senior, Mibu Sayaka.
It was then, he was called my the Morals Committee. Without wasting any time, he stood up to leave.
...
"Ah, Onii-sama."
"Miyuki, you've been summoned as well?"
"Yes, the President said to meet in front of the Public Announcement Room."
Tatsuya met up with Miyuki along the way, and headed towards the Public Announcement Room.
However, their pace was not particularly fast. "Is this Blanche's work?"
"Not sure if it's the organization itself, but it matches their their motive."
The two of them continued their conversation until they reached the door to the Public Announcement Room together.
Before the doorway, Mari, Katsuto, Suzune, and members of the Public Moral Committee and Club Management Group could be seen.
"You're late."
"My apologies."
"Where is Tobi?", Mari questioned.
"He's isn't here? He left before I did", Miyuki said, puzzled.
But they didn't have time to discuss that.
Both sides went through the motions for reprimanding and apologies, then started to verify the current situation.
The broadcast was probably curtailed by cutting the power.
Given that they hadn't charged in, the door was likely locked. It appeared that their opponents somehow managed to obtain the Master Key.
"Isn't this blatant criminal activity?"
"Using the ends to justify the means, this type of thinking clearly showed that these guys were model "activists".
Thus, we have to be prudent here, so we don't force them into doing something drastic."
Although Tatsuya was speaking to himself, Suzune still replied.
"Even if we approach this prudently, there's no guarantee that they will back down. I believe that we should take the rougher approach, with the intent of ending this as soon as possible." Immediately, Mari interrupted.
It looks like we're deadlocked by two competing approaches. For the morals committee, this is the worst possible situation.
"What does Club Leader Juumonji think?" Tatsuya's question drew quite a few surprised looks.
"I believe that there's no harm in agreeing to their demands to negotiate.
This is only a more radical attempt at what we've seen in the past. As long as we calmly refute their claims, we should be able to quell this without further concerns."
"So, we just sit here and wait?"
"There's not enough information to make a call at this point.
Although we can't just ignore illegal activity, on the other hand, unless this is a dire condition, damaging school facilities is also a criminal activity.
We've petitioned the faculty to use the security system override to open the door, but they've refused."
In other words, they didn't want to forcibly end the issue. Katsuto's idea ended up paralleling Suzune's proposal.
In that case, there's nothing else they could do except stay there and wait.
At Tatsuya, who saluted briefly before backing away, Mari directed a displeased gaze.
While he was not coerced into action by this gaze, he still took out the portable terminal from his pocket and changed it to calling mode.
The circumstances forced them to wait, but just waiting in perpetuity was no solution.
After five attempts...
"Is this Mibu-senpai? This is Shiba." Whoosh, quite a few looks turned this way. "...So, where are you senpai? Senpai"
The number of gazes directed towards Tatsuya increased.
But even then, Tatsuya looked more confused and didn't spoke.
He then cut the call and looked at the others.
"I think the matter is solved", Tatsuya said.
The others wanted to question what he meant for they were too confused. But before they did, the announcement room door opened.
Every head turned towards the door.
A student wearing the first high uniform stood there, face palming.
He then raised his head and walked forward. "The perpetrator have been apprehended", he said. But the way he sounded like he almost regretted what he did.
Everyone rushed into the room.
"What in the world happened here?", it was the question going through everyone's mind but only Mari voiced it.
Inside, a confused Mibu stood on one side, a boy was seen unconscious beside her, while the other three accomplice crawled to a corner of the room
"Did he leave?!" one of them asked, noticing the presence of others.
"You're being arrested-"
"We don't care! Just take us away from the Grimm!"
Mari was interrupted by another scared student, who didn't seem to mind being arrested.
"What's a Grimm?", juumonji Katsuto asked, but nobody seemed ready to answer it.
Hearing the familiar word, Grimm, Miyuki and Tatsuya both shared the same thought.
Something was going on around Tobi that he's not telling. It was something many people, including the many students knew, but refuse to reveal.
Did Tobi coerce them from revealing the truth, or was it something else?
....
'Damn it, why does every problem that arises have to be around wesen?!'
I cursed.
Today, the storyline was finally back in track. I was waiting for the announcement room hijack for the past few days, and I was extremely excited to know that the story didn't change.
I ran out the class the moment the I heard the announcement.
Finding the perfect opportunity to enter the room from the ceiling, I was ready for a full out fight.
But just when everyone realized I was inside the room, I realized three among them were wesen, Klausteich, and they realized I was a Grimm.
So the decided to scream out my title and crawled to a corner of the room while the rest two, Mibu senpai and the other dude, who were fortunately not wesen, watched all of this in confusion.
The only dude who actually tried to put up a fight really needed to work on his activation speed. Dude gave me an eternity of time to cast a moment spell on him and knock him out.
With a heart filled with dissapointment, I walked towards a confused and petrified Mibu-senpai and took the keycard from her hand to open the door.
This is getting too troublesome.
I really wanna know what kind of stories these guys heard from their parents.
