"Come back! Bad boy, Bad!" Reina said as she tugged the tail of the Cerberus. "C'mon Gin, be a good boy and behave okay?" She spoke through her teeth.
"What is a giant 3-headed dog doing on campus?!?" Nana screamed out the window of her room.
"Yeah, my bad, we got reports of a large Cerberus that escaped some facility, mind lending a hand? My name is Reina by the way, a first-year student of Laftis University." Reina squinted her eyes looking up as she pulled the Cerberus by it's collar.
'Yeah, yeah, save the introduction for after we get the dog out of campus!" Nana went back in and took the Orin Potion from beneath her desk. "Guess It'll be dog food, what a shame." She climbed onto the window and jumped out clutching the cauldron in her hand. She landed on the Cerberus' snout and stood directly above its mouth. He hang on with a singular hand. "Bottoms up!" She threw the cauldron down the Cerberus' gullet and she promptly jumped off.
"Awgh!" The Cerberus howled and instantly came to ease. It closed it's eyes and laid its head down on the floor.
"Bravo! Bravo!" Reina shouted as she started clapping. "You're a natural, how'd you know Orin Potions make dogs sleepy?"
"Ah ha, yeah I'm just a dog person." Nana hated dogs.
The Cerberus collapsed and went to sleep nearly immediately. The sun was just rising and casting a shadow on the campus. The shadows of nearby towns casted onto the green grass of Laftis.
"So, what're you doing at this school for?" Reina sat down on the grass and tapped the spot next to her, asking Nana to sit next to her. "I heard this school was famous for having the greatest of wizards and witc-"
"Aww, who's a good boy?" Nana pinched the cheeks of the cerberus as all 3 of his heads snored loudly in unison, "Anyway, what were you saying?"
"You're awfully great at interrupting people when they're talking, aren't you Nana" Lin appeared behind Nana and grabbed her hat. "You haven't even changed, you're still in your pyjamas, talk about being lazy, besides I need to talk to you about yesterday."
"Are we ignoring the fact she just casually tamed a beast? This school is weird." Reina asked herself. "Anyway, you guys seem busy, I should probably get going and put Gin back in his cage, have a good day y'all"
"Who are you" Lin asked awkwardly.
"Oh I'm Reina, a first-year student at Laftis University, we probably share some classes." Reina reached her hand out for a handshake.
"Right, anyway." Lin looked away and carried on talking to Nana.
"He's just not good with girls, he's a bit of an introvert and has never had a proper interaction with girls, don't think of him being rude to you," Nana whispered to Reina.
"Uh-huh..." Reina said in confusion as she nodded her head up and down.
"Anyway, Nana, forget about changing and breakfast, we better go quick before anyone finds out." Lin grabbed Nana's hand and started running.
"Bye y'all" Reina waved and Nana waved back and Lin didn't say anything.
"Hey, Lin, you're awfully weird today. Weirder than usual." Nana tried to talk to Lin but he just ignored her, like he didn't even acknowledge Nana.

"We should hurry before they come." Lin was running through the dark alleys while holding Nana's hand.
"What's the rush? What's even in that dumb library anyways, the cure to cancer?" Nana replied.
"Ironically, yes. This underground library was made out of bounds to all students on campus, the council feared for what information this never-ending library could contain." Lin said gasping for air while running, "You might not know this but this school is really old, the centrepiece of Laftis. The school was built on the ruins of an ancient city that would worship the sun. The sun blessed this land with fertile soil and plenty of rain. Perfect spot to have a school ay? But this came at a cost, several locations in this school have become cursed, and this library is no diff-"
"ZzZzZz..." Nana snored audibly while still running.
"Wake up!" Lin smacked Nana across the face.
"Yeah yeah I get it, worshipping the sun, fertile soil, cursed library, yata yata," Nana said half asleep
"Not yata yata, look, if you're not going to take this seriously then we might as well just stop right here and go back." Lin came to a halt.
"Okay, don't need to be so pressed" Nana replied, they started running again.
"We're here, and right on time" Lin and Nana stood before a giant wooden door locked with several different chains. "We've got, 30 minutes? That should be fine, now I'll show you what it means to truly be a sorcerer."
