TO BE KING

It was only once the darkness started fading in the sky that my eyes finally felt too heavy to stay open and I embraced sleep. By the time I got up, it was almost time for lunch. The reason I was so easily able to guess the time was because I could see Ketki setting down our lunch as quietly as possible in the room and the presence of proper sitting for eating in a corner which is usually not present. 

I got up from the bed and Ketki too noticed me. She quickly placed the food down and came by my side. 

Ketki " It is good to see you resting " 

She told such a simple sentence with such a smile that I instantly felt some of my worries disappear. 

I quickly got up and joined her for the meal. All the worries and pressure from yesterday seemed to disappear in this moment.
