THE INCEPTION OF MAYHEM

"The target has been identified chief should we send a sniper" inquired a woman who was typing an algorithm

Listening to her statement, the chief could only snort, he felt humiliated by her question

"I I understand the seriousness of your request, but I can't, in good conscience, agree to it.

I believe it would lead us down a difficult and unfortunate path, so with a heavy heart... I must respectfully decline." replied the man with a gaze of a hypocrite

' what a cunning woman if the operation fails, the agency will use me as a scapegoat but…if it succeeds…hmm… I am sure she will press on the matter, and I'll just say yes'.

They were currently in a large room filled with countless monitors which were the state of the art

"LEADERRRR!!!" the woman quickly shouted in this disbelief, but seeing the disapproving gaze of her leader, she quickly composed herself

"Leader this man is slippery as an eel, the Interpol sent Snipers after him and they failed, the FBI launched countless investigations after him and they failed… even the Mafia failed, Hades is classified as an S tier criminal, he's a threat to national security… we need to eliminate him…at all cost" the woman simply looked away after her response, she knows the gravity of her words… But she stood by her words.

The man simply looked at her and sighed, Hades is one of the most notorious criminals world-wide, Internationally criminals are ranked from E to SS+ tier

"Even If we… remove Hades from the equation, we might not get the one he's under… but for the sake of humanity let's do it, we can't let him release that 'virus'"

On the monitor there was a 21-year-old walking down the road carrying a container, the rain made it hard for them to track him

The man who was observing him from the room filled with monitors simply tapped his watch

"Man, this rain is making me regret going to class today" spoke out a young man who was fixing his hair

"Ulquiorra… just because you passed your midterms it doesn't mean you must lessen your efforts on studying" replied his friend Jimmy with an annoyed gaze

Ulquiorra simply shrugged his shoulders and minded his own business

"What are you carrying in that container it looks heavy" inquired Jimmy with a hint of curiosity

"Do you remember when my class did project particle accelerator"

Jimmy replied with a nod, from a very young age, Ulquiorra showed signs of superior intelligence, so when it comes to studying and exams he does so with ease, he's always annoyed because they play together but only one of them excels

"I also created 40 grams of reverse matter…accidentally, but the energy released was too much, so the professor helped me create this sealing chamber… You know the rest".

The two of them continued walking, not minding the heavy pour of the rain

"How did your date with Selena go… Did you two… You know" inquired Jimmy with a naughty wink.

"It was weird… She first invited me to pet her cat… But she had no cat".

Jimmy who just heard his words simply laughed, he is not offended in a slightly because well… Ulquiorra has no filter.

"Yeah we bo..." Just as Ulquiorra looked aside he saw another truck, but well he knew this was it for them

Humans are unlike many species because under pressure their most dormant trait tends to manifest…the ability to adapt born from the desire of survival… Some succeed at breaking their limits and become better versions of their selves and others simply fail trying.

Thus, Ulquiorra felt conflicted, should he save himself and let his only true friend die or … Should he save the one person who was the for him during his times of loneliness and solitude.

Ulquiorra had a…unique childhood, where he comes from… The orphanage…they were nothing but 'products' who were only meant to be harvested for their organs and thus his detest for human beings was born, before he met jimmy he truly loathed human beings; thus he rarely shows empathy and sympathy towards one but…

Jimmy told him one thing about humans that changed his perspective towards them and it is a simple quote

As he sacrificed himself to save Jimmy, he simply looked at the shining full moon and saw his life flashing before his eyes

Jimmy panicked as he saw Ulquiorra spinning anti-clock wise in the air, his body quickly propelled forward and rushed to catch Ulquiorra as he fell on the ground

The heavy rain was masking his cries as he poured his heart out…the amount of guilt and despair was nothing compared to the loss of his friend
