If you are wondering about why this novel had gone into hiatus, and the updates are already slower than it already was, then I had one good news and tons of bad news.

The good news is, this novel won't die. It won't be dead as long as I'm alive.

As for the bad news...

I was diagnosed with a disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis.

'Early symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis might include back pain and stiffness in the lower back and hips, especially in the morning and after periods of inactivity. Neck pain and fatigue also are common. Over time, symptoms might worsen, improve or stop at irregular intervals.

The areas most commonly affected are:

The joint between the base of the spine and the pelvis.

The vertebrae in the lower back.

The places where tendons and ligaments attach to bones, mainly in the spine, but sometimes along the back of the heel.

The cartilage between the breastbone and the ribs.

The hip and shoulder joints.'

Remember the time when I said I had an annular disc tear? It's because of this disease.

Unfortunately, there are no cures for this disease. I could only take medication to suppress the inflammation in my body to ease some of the pain, I had to inject it every month, and I had to inject it until the day I die.

It's been a month now since the medication, but I don't think it's working well. I even had to take painkillers almost every day.

Not only this medication is expensive, but there are also some side effects which, I believe, are due to this medication.

My brain would be constantly left in a blank state. This means, I had a hard time processing information and thinking, which is giving me a hard time at work.

I wasn't able to get some good sleep due to the pain and stiffness (yes, even after taking painkillers I still felt pain), and was always left in a state of insomnia.

Worst of all, I had emotional instability disorder due to this medication.

I would get annoyed by the tiniest thing, and I would come to a sudden breakdown and cry.

However, due to the responsibilities left to me, I'm still working. I had to settle things properly before I resign. I believe I will be resigning by next year, and will further my studies in artificial intelligence.

Now then, back to the topic.

1. When will there be updates?

Good question, me. How the heck would I know? Maybe when I feel better, I will write and upload them.

2. When will 'A date with Persia Silverlight' chapter end?

A few more chapters.

3. Are you still making illustrations?

No, for now. Maybe I will continue after I resigned.
