Prologue

From within the darkness of the dark ages, humans suffered to countless diseases and calamities that rained down from the skies, flowed in from the seas, cracked the earth, and split dimensional rifts. Nearing downfall the Internal Dark Ones(IDO) offered a bit of salvation to those that served. Through this ever-growing darkness arose the heroes.

Like all good things, they needed time to cultivate their powers and abilities in order to face the Internal Dark Ones, that for years hunted down the heroes and suppressed them. To the IDO it was necessary for their survival.

If these heroes were allowed to cultivate, their power could have vastly stripped the IDO. After hundreds of millennia of the IDO's control, the people have grown to accept their fate. When someone died, the IDO would take the body. As far as the people knew, the dead were given a proper way to rest.

The IDO increased the military of the Shauhina continent over the millennia. The larger the military, the quicker they hunt down the heroes. After thousands of millennia, the IDO was thought to be both invincible and unwavering. The strength of the army could dispose of the heroes as soon as they were found instead of having to be sent to the IDO personally.

Every now and then one of the four IDO would ask for living servants. Without the power to resist the populace would give them the servants.

It wasn't just humans that were in the clutches of the IDO. The once-powerful vampires started to dwindle. Their source of nuritment so heavily guarded that they avoid and human settlements.

The elves if they were to return to the continent, they would be hunted down. The execution of all elves was an order. However, after going into hiding the elves kept spies within the continent that went undetected.

Within the forests, the werewolves were safe, due to an agreement. If they were to leave, they would be executed. The werewolves also kept some spies throughout the continent.

The dwarves built up defences within their mountain ranges. Even though nobody has seen them, the dwarves work away gaining more strength. The send out drones to spy, biding their time.

As soon as the IDO appeared, the dragons instantly fled up into the skies. From within the skies, unannounced to the people, most dragons went back up to protect the gates of Harvelim.

Even though the IDO believed themselves to be all-powerful, the gods didn't care what they were doing. The gods believed the mortal races could figure it out. Ordering the dragons to guard the gate, the gods were content.

As the faith in the gods decreased, they started to spur and align slowly to overthrow the IDO. After managing to find one, the gods attempted to kill it. However, after waiting too long, the weakest IDO managed to defeat not one, not two, not three, but twenty gods by itself.

After retreating these gods, some of the best reported that they had waited too long. That they would need help. However, the gods didn't know who to ask for help. After several years of pondering the gods were greeted with the titans of old, which were thought to have been extinct.

When the weakest titan went down the IDO laughed. The titan retreated after being held back for three weeks straight by one of the IDO. At this point after the gods and titans weren't sure what to do.

One may ask why they didn't ask for help from King Yagami. Or even from all the other continents. That was due to the fact that they couldn't agree on who to ask for help from. While they were scared of King Yagami being mad at them for such insolence.

As the years went one King Yagami became more and more disappointed as those that usually came from war declined. However King Yagami not dare to go ask the gods for the reason, he sat still.

The other continents had no idea as to what was happening. Being able to see a black mist emanating from the continent, they were wary to even touch the mysterious, horrendous, hellish mist. Unless ordered to the other continents with their vast wealth, resources, and kingdoms would also not dare to make a move toward the continent.

After ten million years King Yagami grew tired of waiting. He stormed out of the ghoulish underworld in spite of being told to not make a move without asking or permission, he looked for the answers he wanted.

As he stepped foot on one of the vast continents his aura suppressed all on it. With a thunderous voice, he asked a few questions. He then left for Shahina. Arriving he noticed the black mist. Quickly searching he found out that it was the IDO that caused such a massive decline.

Returning back he waited. Content with knowing why he didn't want to anger the gods that we're able to suppress him all those years ago. However, after only another thousand years, King Yagami stormed into Harvelim.

As he arrived the dragons fell down. With a flick of his wrist, the gate flew toward a tower. In the distance, a god yelled, "King Yagami has arrived and is unhappy. All gods battle positions. We don't want to deal with him while this happening on Shahina."

"I am tired of waiting on you lot to decide, I have spent my time strengthening myself," Yagami's thunderous voice echoed through the Kingdom. All the lesser gods stood still. The mid-gods could barely walk.

As the superior gods flew up to him, he said, "I am not here to fight you. I am tired of the insolence of the IDO. We need to defeat them. Any ideas."

"How could you have known?" one of the hundred or so said.

"Ten million years, less than the normal amount of souls coming in. I searched for answers. Found them. Now is the time to act. How to do it though?"

For thousands of years the gods, titans, and King Yagami were figuring out what to do.
