The Ritual

I had no choice when I was born into this world.I was born in a world were your blood is sacred to live long enough even centuries. At age 9, I was told to be blood bank if the ritual accepted me.Many have died to the ritual,biting my arm or neck.Your brother survived I wonder if he will also.

To be born of loving parents but did they really love me? The second born ,I was told my fathers children are experimental research kids. My mother ,Amery was compatible with my Father's,Ville blood. They were both in their for the same reason, so I was told.

Amery: I used to have blonde hair...and blue eyes.

Ville:Amery don't talk back at him !!

"The experiments don't shut you guys up?! Didn't it hurt ?I mean you tried not to cry."

Drew punches the wall hard enough to make him bleed.

Drew: Enough of these memories !!

Angellé :This is the ritual you can't escape this.

Drew: Why must I see the past?

Angellé : My parents sacrificed so much to be where we are and I won't let that be in vain.

Drew: But aren't you tired of rituals ? Must you give everyone your blood ?!

Angellé : I admit some died some accepted and some despised it. It is either give in or die by the blood.Take my blood ...your brother did. My siblings also give blood.

Drew: I don't want to hurt you,much less drink your blood.

Angellé : Is it because of Vira ?She's set to be like me a giver of blood ,slave to the covenant unless you marry her.

Drew: If I drink your blood would you leave me alone ?

Angellé : The blood speaks for it's holders and I just accept.

Angellé : The one I loved got killed ...if you drink my blood-

Drew violently runs to her and pins her down and bites her neck while ripping her dress.

Angellé : You and your brother are the same violent hunters (gasps in pain)

Drew's eyes turn red to white and keeps drinking her blood.

Angellé blushing and twirls her hair around her finger.

Noah :I heard the festival of garden blood was among us. We get to choose our partners like our parents did.

Angellé :Wait ,are you asking me out?

Noah: I am ...would you accept the crown of my families flower ?

Angellé : I will be delighted ,yes of course !!

Cory interrupts them by slapping Noah's hand away from Angellé.

Cory: Noah ,you knew I had a thing for Angellé and I see you ....with her?

Noah :You can't even make up your mind it's Angellé or Blaze.

Cory: My plan failed and I don't need her no more.

Noah: I asked her first.

Drew let's go of Angellé and she falls back.

One day the hunters invaded our privacy to choose our partners. There was so much blood Blaze got killed during her ritual and my brother Liam was also killed. It was only me and Nino and Noah.Who would bring such terror here?

Vexed Hunters one was a man in his 30s and a huntress probably his wife.

Cory : I brought them here ,I told them to especially kill you ...stupid Noah.

Noah: Because of me ?You let them kill the others,our friends.

Cory: What friends ?Huh?! They were forced into this world and to befriend you and everyone else.

Angellé:Stop this ...

Cory: This wasn't going to last Angellé ,we were going to be killed by hunters anyway. While are parents are kept and slaves and keep making more to hunt.

Angellé: All this bloodshed was ...

Cory: To open your naive eyes.

Angellé : Did you really think we will live on?

The hunter strikes Angellé to the face.

Cory: NOOOO!! I TOLD YOU NOT TO HURT HER !!

Huntress : Why do you Looove her? I thought you wanted them dead...her blonde hair...and her skinny body can't take a slap?

Angellé : I...I was never hit ...(stares at Cory with her watery eyes)

Cory: This is all wrong !! She was supposed to have the ritual done to her. You cut her she will bleed red blood.

Noah: Spare my sister Cory ...it's me you want.

Nino: Do I tell them ?We have the ritual done on us?

Noah:Shh!

Hunter: I heard that girly ... they're the ones that have the ritual done.

Nino: Spare me please .. I wont tell anyone.

Vex Huntress: We just want blood kid.

The hunter charges through but Noah interrupts the attack and gets slashed instead of Nino.

Nino freezes up and stares at Cory.

Nino: Why would you call them Cory? (looks at Cory disappointedly) I was going to confess my feelings and you did this?

Cory: Should of just told me sooner.

Nino :We have the same blood why -

Cory pins Nino down the floor.

Cory :You made me waste my time. Didn't you tell me ?No ,you didn't tell me your feelings until now...

Nino: I...I...don't want to hurt you ....(gags) No...ah...

Noah runs to her and kicks Cory off her.

Cory: But how ?

Noah :He only slashed me ,that's nothing too me.Whispers to Nino's ear *escape with this and don't look back, if I don't catch up with you...know that I love you and wish you a happy life.

Nino*: What are you doing ?!!

Noah : I can't leave Angellé here ...

Nino: Your losing so much blood...I can't just-

Noah touches her chest and activates teleportation circle.

*Live on Nino I know you can.

Nino gets teleported to another place .

Cory\* : Your to busy with her you forgot about Angellé.

( pulls on her hair towards himself)

Angellé : Our parents ...wouldn't want us to kill each other...why?...why did you ?...

Cory: I got tired of being here... to my wildest imagination I wanted to leave here.

Angellé : No , don't hurt him!!!

Cory :Why ? Don't tell me you actually...love him...

Angellé : I can't say it ...my heart is too caring..

Cory:Then you die here ...my Angellé.

Noah runs to her and tackles Angellé out of Cory's grip. Only to roll out of the way and face each other.

Cory: Get them!!!

Both hunters stab Noah from the back.

Noah spits out red blood on Angellé.

Angellé : You are a liar ...until the end...you haven't done the ritual.

Noah: I....had...too...protect her...you both survived this tragedy...

Angellé kisses Noah filled with his blood hoping to heal hím but it doesn't work , Noah's eyes closed and he's life less on Angellé.~the game was good

The Vexed Hunters just slash Cory in half.

Angellé just stares at the blood all around her .

Drew tries to spit out the blood he dranked.

Drew : Your not a vexed blood this blood is...

Angellé : Different ?I know ...when I kissed him I thought I had more time.We were going to bloodlink but he passed away when we did, making my blood ritual incomplete... there was no one left alive but me .. surrounded by dead bodies and blood. Are parents got notified too late. They saw this as a massacre of the year. Since I was the only survivor..Other than Nino but I didn't say a word.

He never told me what he was ,so different...his bright dark blue eyes ,not like my eye color hazel...and his hair was turning a different color. Noah's blood didn't taste like silver iron at all ,I dranked it but it's way different than vexed blood.

I saw his memories one last time.

"I don't want her to hate me for what I am.For what I stand for ."

" You will be targeted for being mixed up with vexed and hunter blood ".

Noah : I'm a hybrid vexed hunter...why did they keep me here? Dr. Richter...why did you help me live?

Dr. Richter : An old promise is all ,my sister wanted you to live a long life.Esther wanted to prove both can co-exist and have a wonderful life.

Noah looks at the mirror.

Noah : People here have white hair and my hair is red and I have blue eyes dark ... blue.

Dr. Richter: Don't look away you are a boy who will achieve many obstacles.

*If we can choose which side to be ...I would want to be Immortal to be with the one I love*.

***Back with Drew and Angellé***

*Drew*: You are looking for him ...this whole time...

Angellé : You wait for the person to be here ...I'm just hoping he chose immortal side like I did.

Drew: I'm sorry about your dress -

Angellé : I know the impulses to wanting blood.Your parents decided to be hunters but what would you be?

Drew: I would be a hunter ,sorry Angellé I love taking the blood. Bloodlink when do I get to that?

Angellé : That's when you marry.

Drew:So that's it ?

Angellé :You already drank the blood chose your side.

Angellé : Why don't you ask her?

Drew leaves the room and is ambushed by Vira's hug.

Vira: Did you see her past too? What did you choose?

Drew falls to the floor.

Vira: I'm sorry ,I got to excited...

Rubine : Drew chose his side to be a hunter.

Back with Angellé

Angellé: Where are you Noah ...so many years and where are you?? I can keep waiting..but ...( tears go down her eyes.)

Caleb : Are you crying ?! For that boy who chose to be a hunter?

Angellé: That boy taught me something and I want to go out.I want to go out to the world!!

Caleb: That bastard,you opened her eyes.

Angellé: Why did you not tell me about Noah!! Why keep me in the dark all this time !! I did this for you and you ....you ..

Caleb : GO OUT THERE AND SEE IF YOU CAN SURVIVE!!! I WILL TELL MUNDI FAMILY WHAT THAT BOY DID TO MY DAUGHTER!!!

Angellé runs out the room towards outside.
