"Is this an accurate map?" I asked. I beheld in my hand a large piece of parchment. It was as wide as my arms and as tall as my legs. On the parchment was a map showing the northeastern portion of the continent. It was detailed, sure, but it was also vague in some places.
The maid that brought it to me nodded, "It is one of our most accurate maps, o great one, commissioned from the best explorers in Esaori."
I looked closer at the details of the map, specifically on the eastern side where the coast was. It looked the most familiar to me.
"What are these so-called Claw Isles?" I asked as I pointed a finger on the round chain of islands a few hundred kilometers to the east of the coast. Though there were many islands, its two defining features - which I assume inspired its name - were the two large and claw-like islands sitting side by side one another.
