15_ The hate tweet.

When Hardin asked Emma if she would like to rap, she thought he was just pulling her legs. But he was actually serious.

Hardin doesn't play.

When he says anything then he is being serious.

He pushed the note in front of him towards Emma's direction. Emma looked at the book then back at Hardin.

"Pick it up and rhythm it together.''He said, Emma swallowed nervously and bent down to grab the note.

So what he was writing down when she saw him was actually rap.

She opened the bookmarked place and stared at the book. Her face scrunched up in a frown and her eyelid deepened. "You.... You want me to rap this for you? Like right now?" She asked and swallowed nervously.

She didn't want to disappoint him.

A perfectionist like Hardin can't accept anything other than perfect, and he has got quite the attitude. He might just leave her and never talk about it again with her if he wasn't impressed.

She swallowed the huge lump in her throat and took in a deep breath.

'You can do this, Emma' she thought to herself.

In this company, in this industry you have to fend for yourself.

There's no friends in the game, it is time for her to realize that and do whatever it takes legally to get into Hardin's good books so that she can debut early.

After rapping about five lines in the most horrible way she could she chanced a glance at Hardin but his focus was totally off her. She wouldn't blame him. She sucks at everything unlike him.

"Praise yourself too, damn! I'm tired of hearing you praise him and undermine yourself." Her subconscious snapped at her. It has become a trait of hers. Feeling insecure about her talent.

"Why did you stop?" He asked her all of a sudden. She gulped and continued from where she stopped.

Hardin stood up from the floor and took a step towards her. He slipped out the note from her hold and Emma stared at him speechlessly.

"Your voice is too feminine. When you rap, try to deepen your voice or make it hoarse, it is more cool that way, your feminine voice makes it sound like you're singing." He stated. That was the longest words he has ever said to her.

She nodded her head and couldn't hide the smiles on her face.

Hardin cocked his head to the side and raised his eyebrows.

"Why are you smiling?" He queried curiously. Emma giggled and covered her mouth with her hand.

"I am happy about your words. Thank you."

Hardin couldn't understand why she would thank him when he didn't even praise her.

He hardly understands people not to talk of a teenager, understanding her is like hard work to him.

"Can I copy it? I can practice it a few times and when we meet again I'll perform it for you." She told him. He glanced down at the book on his hand and back at the doll-like face that is waiting for what he has to say.

"You can take a picture of it." He retorted. She smiled happily and brought out her phone from the party purse that was hanging down her neck.

She clicked on her camera and stretched her hand to take the book from Hardin.

He handed the book over to her and she quickly took a picture of the lyrics.

She handed back the note to Hardin and pocketed her phone.

Hardin glanced at her then started walking away.

"Until next time, senior." She said and bowed her head as Hardin walked out of the practice room.

Emma was scrolling through her Twitter page at night when she came across a hate tweet towards Ace.

The tweet reads "I just want to understand why Hardin gets praised for his bullshits which other artists get trashed for, this man literally overshadowed every member of his group since his debut. And let me remind everyone that Hardin was worth $4b earlier this year and his members are still in millions, we demand for justice for the other members. GY Entertainment should do the needful and stop with this biased attitude."

Emma couldn't believe what she read.

The worst part was that the tweet went viral with more than 500,000 people liking it.

"Wow! The hate for Hardin is really not a joke." She muttered to herself. She clicked on the tweet and checked the comments. Why some of them were hating on Hardin, most of them were defending him which made her wonder if the likes were even real. 80% of the comments were obviously on Hardin's side.

The tweet going viral worried Emma and angered her at the same time. She couldn't help but leave a comment under the tweet.

"So bold of you to question Hardin's source of wealth. You're just a hater. He worked hard for almost two decades to get to where he is. I should also remind you that he owns 80% of the copyright of SHAKES discography. He has a super successful fashion line, he is an ambassador of different big companies, he literally works for his shit. Don't you ever question him again and take your thinking pieces somewhere else."

The moment she hit send she let out a deep breath that she didn't know she was holding.

She was fuming while typing the comment.

How could anyone hate on Hardin?

He literally minds his business in the industry. And insinuating that Hardin is treating his members badly? Seeing them together you could tell that he loves them so much.

They grew up together under the same roof!

Even after almost 16 years of debuting they still live together which furthermore show how much they care about each other.

Brotherhood isn't just by birth.

She really needs to work on her temper. It is a good thing that her username was a combination of her initials and birthday dates, no one can tell who she is.
