The Girl in the Raincoat
Hyun Jung drove off in frustration. He was in a trance, speeding on the almost empty highway, not knowing where he was going. He just kept on driving, uncaring of whom he may hit. There was an empty feeling in his heart.
This feeling was not alien to him ; he felt it as a child whenever his father had abused him and his mother. Every strike his dad hit them with, only sank him down towards this whirlwind of emptiness. There was no hope, no one to save him until KJ extended a hand to him. He was saved.
But he failed to save the woman he loves. He failed her. In his mind, she was the only one for him. The girl whom he loved and vowed to protect. But he failed.
The Somi who used to be unashamed and cheerful was now a solemn woman with an aimless life. Her soul was torn away from her leaving her with nothing but pain.
