"Looks like Aunt is becoming smart," FangSu whispered to Meixu, after seeing their Aunt remain quiet when deliberately being provoked, which was unlike her.
"Who cares?" Meixu sneered and picked up her chopsticks.
After dinner, Fu Juan dropped by Lanying's bedroom. She knocked once on the door before opening it and stepping in.
Lanying was sitting on her bed with her gaze at the window. She had her phone in her hand, but she was lost in thought.
That was the scene Fu Juan saw when she came in. "Why did you reject the food I sent to you? You are making the family think bad about you."
Lanying shifted her gaze in her direction and replied with a weak tone, "I didn't come out for dinner because I'm not hungry, and you asked me not to. There was no need to accept the food when I know I wouldn't touch it."
"You should have at least touched the food." Fu Juan insisted.
