A Windy Battle

The soldiers ran around in a panic. "Men calm yourself!" The commander shouted. "This is just the work of a witch! A foul minion of the demon lord!"

"I am no minion of any demon lord." Mia shouted. "I am not the Goddess either. I am simply her servant." Mia then condensed her tornadoes into orbs in her hands. "I would ask that you never come here again, or I might not be so forgiving next time." Mia took her palms and placed them next to each other, merging the two orbs into one. The orb then released a massive burst of wind that lifted the entire army off the ground, along with their horses, and even the grass was ripped up by it. The soldiers flew several miles before finally crashing into the ground. Some were smashed against trees and rocks along the way. It was a devastating display of Mia's absolute power.

The commander laid there battered and broken, surrounded by his men. "Is anyone left alive?" He shouted. "Report!" Around him he could hear the moans of his soldiers, most of them had survived the flight. "We must report this to the Grand Pope immediately!" The commander shouted as he tried to get back to his feet. He could not stand; both of his legs had been broken. "Can anyone stand?" He shouted.

"I can!" A young soldier shouted in response.

"Go then and tell the Grand Pope what has happened here!" The commander responded.

"Yes Sir!" The young man shouted back and then stopped to look around. "Sir?" He shouted back. "Which way is the capital? I don't know where we are!"

"Figure it out!" The commander responded.

Meanwhile back at the forest, Mia had landed and checked to see if Edward was ok. "Are you alright Edward?" She asked.

Edward just looked out as the barren land that was now before them. "Those men didn't believe a word I told them." He paused. "They were so blinded by their own dogma that they ignored their own King. They even tried to kill me."

"I know this must be rough on Edward." Mia tried to comfort Edward. "I held back quite a bit so that they should survive at least."

"That was you holding back?" Edward was astonished. "Mia. They have seen you now, I am sure with your power and your appearance word will spread that the Goddess resides in the forest."

"But I told them I wasn't the Goddess." Mia responded.

"After that display I doubt they will believe you." Edward answered back. "We need to accelerate our plans, make your way to the ocean at once and win the support of the King there. We have to capitalize on the rumors of you being the Goddess, and we cannot let time pass and we miss our chance."

"Do you think I am ready?" Mia asked.

"I've taught you, most of what you need to pass as a noble." Edward replied. "You just need to use what I have taught you."

Morain then exited the forest with Lucell and Sabrina in tow. "Bravo Mia, Bravo. That was some splendid magic." Morain applauded. "Edward is right, this is an opportunity that we cannot pass up. I only ask that you take Lucy with you." Morain then turned to address Lucell directly. "Lucy, please continue to help Miss Mia in any way that you can."

"Of course my Queen." Lucell said with a bow. "We should leave at once it is a long journey. I will go get the carriage."

"We don't need a carriage Lucy." Mia smiled.

"We don't." Lucell questioned. "It is quite a long way to walk."

"Who said anything about walking?" With that Mia flicked her wrist at Lucell and he began to float in the air. "We will fly there. Flying is a lot easier and faster."

Morain holds out a bag. "I took the liberty of preparing you some clothes for your journey." Morain says as she hands Mia the bag. "I am sure Lucy will handle everything else."

Lucell was floating trying to regain his composure. "Yes, my Queen I shall handle everything." He said, struggling to try and look dignified.

"Well, I guess we will be off then." Mia said as she waved goodbye to everyone. "We will return with the support of the Ocean Kingdom."

"Sir Knight!" Vanessa yelled as she exited the forest. "Are you leaving me, Sir Knight?" She asked with a sad look on her face.

"Only for a few days my Goddess." Mia responded. "We shall return from the Ocean Kingdom before you know it."

"Oh you are taking Lucy to the beach!" Vanessa was excited. "Here take this with you. You cannot go to the beach without one of these." Vanessa handed a very revealing bikini to Mia.

"Goddess, why were you walking around with that?" Morain asked.

"Oh you never know when you might need one." Vanessa replied. "I have one for Lucy as well!" Vanessa then handed Lucell a thong speedo. "You both make sure you wear these while you are on the beach!" Vanessa smiled.

"Thank you Goddess." Lucell said as he held his bathing suit with two fingers staring at the lack of material.

"Ok!" Morain shouted. "You two best be off now. We will see you when you get back."

With that Mia started to fly and grabbed onto Lucell's hand. "Let's go Lucy." She said with a smile." The two of them flew off toward the ocean leaving everyone else behind.

"Goddess, seriously why did you have those?" Sabrina asked.

"Well I heard Sir Knight was going to the beach on day and I wanted to make sure they had the proper attire." Vanessa answered. "I made some for you and Eddy too, but you aren't going to the beach."

Sabrina began to laugh, "Thank you for the thought Goddess."

"Edward?" Morain asked. "Do you think she will be ok?"

"Honestly I am more worried about them." Edward responded. "Just look at this devastation. She said she held back, I feel like she could wipe out an entire kingdom if she tried. If they backed her into a corner, I don't know what would happen. All we can do is hope for the best."

"Oh I wonder if Sir Knight will meet Drippy too!" Vanessa shouted out of the blue.

"Drippy?" Morain asked. "Do you mean the water elemental lives in the ocean?"

"Well where else would they live?" Vanessa asked.

Meanwhile Lucell and Mia were flying towards the ocean. "Hey Lucy, is this speed good for you or can you handle faster?" Mia asked.

"Miss Mia, please do not retrain yourself on my behalf." Lucell answered. "If you wish to travel faster then we should travel faster."

"Okay Lucy!" Mia smiled back. "Please hold on as tightly as you can." With that Mia looked forward and focused her magic behind her. They accelerated greatly and finally a loud boom occurred. Followed by three more consecutive booms. Lucell was holding on to Mia with all his might. The force of the wind was incredible. At such an astounding speed they reached their destination in no time flat.
